"I Am Yet To See A Suitable Successor"....In a democracy, shouldn't the people see (find) the successor ![]() |
puskin: It looks like whatsapp has given them enough problems.Exactly....... it is like what google did to the likes of yahoo and aol.... these things are inevitable..... bbm and bb os you belong to the technology history books (a very commendable effort) but get used to being irrevalant in the present and the future |
yuzedo: reach mens dont care how u greeet dem. i saw my nebor alika dangotti in Banana Island so i say hey danny boy, wazzap, he say, am fine bro, but af not eat in 3 days. see? is only pour man dat hav natin dat always strogle for respeckt from small small childs.Your shtick is funny. |
Ah......sweet memories ..... though admitting it sort of dates my self but who cares - those shoes, as fugly as they looked, were the shizniz back then! @OP - thanks for the post + picture and the trip down memory lane - I have given you my 'like' in appreciation. |
Cool Kizzy: whatsapp is the trending chat app. though it has it's flaws, once you join, you will be discoverable by anybody that gets hold of your phone number. there are some people in my contact list i wont like to chat with though they have my number .all the same it is coolThat is true that the default action of the app is to automatically add all your contacts to the app. However you can always block any contact on an individual basis and solve that problem. @OP whatsapp is da bomb !! My international SMS costs have come down a lot by using whatsapp. I also like some of the neat features like sharing pics, geographic location etc. |
Afam4eva: If a car starts flying then i don't know if it should still be called a car or an airplane.Given what happened to the prototype, we should call it flying coffin |
Ah, phone fit catch fire with that kind speed oh! |
If the North Americans are having problems engineering a flying car....they should talk to our resident expert here in Africa ... Mr Barnabas Sibanda

ogugua88: What I'm getting from this is that you once believed cheating was wrong, but because you're now a cheat yourself, your perspective has changed? Give me a break. As far as I'm concerned, cheating is one of the worst forms of disrespect to a partner or spouse, and people who cheat are discontented and highly undisciplined human beings. There is such a thing as self-control. In your case, it's not that you lost control, but that you know what's right and wrong and have chosen to do wrong on more than one occasion. You are giving yourself to another woman's husband. What does marriage even mean to you, if anything at all? I'm assuming you want to get married one day. Isn't marriage a sacred union that people are supposed to hold at high regard? If you're disrespecting and desecrating another woman's union, what makes you think yours should even be average, let alone sweet? How on earth could you even take a break with your boyfriend? If you loved him at all, you wouldn't even consider leaving him for another woman's husband. You told him you need a break as if you're the one that's being hurt. Add the word "selfish" along with discontented and highly undisciplined please. You are not just wrong, but double wrong. If you have any ounce of morality left in you, come clean with your boyfriend and let him go. I wonder what he's done to deserve having an adulterer as a girlfriend. And we wonder why STDs are rampant. Shey na 2013? Smh.Fantastic post.... and 100+ likes in support...... (has to be an NL record) ![]() |
Maybe they were able to convince the court that the arms were actually heading for some other West African country : http://bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-22515062 Either way, something fishy in this whole thing and obviously a powerful "Oga at the top" has had an influence in this judgement ![]() |
@lastpage- I agree with your points.......but I have seen "experienced" drivers drive worse on our roads . I still believe the transport authority should be commended for alerting other drivers about the situation. |
bowee4u: The earlier we go our seperate ways the better.
Whatever it is, it needs to be contained in the North. Thazz all
breaking up will not solve the problem..... the same miscreants can still cross the 'new border' and wreck their havoc... also do not think the country will break into two.... many groups will clamour for their own sovereignty. cough - thazz all ![]() |
gbosaa: .....Pls there is nothing dysfunctional about this..Credit to oyo state govt.....On point.... they were proactive in informing / alerting other drivers. I'm sure others have experienced this too...you will be inside a commercial vehicle and then realize that the driver is not only new to driving but driving recklessly on top of that ![]() |
@Poster: it is not a crime to be a learner (on private and commercial vehicles) on public roads. There's no surprise to it. I have seen a similar sign on London Transport busses.
exactly. we cannot jump into conclusions based on just one picture. we do not know if actually there were passengers inside.....and even if there were passengers it is not a big deal. Even inside plane sef sometimes junior pilots do the landing and if it is a rough landing the pilot will make a announcement explaining the situation. |
if you decide to use ship, please becareful of somali pirates too.... |
excellentmomma: Lol!!!, U have American Mother's day celebration in mind. This piece was written for her mum on her Birthday May 09, According to the post.Ok thanks ( i guess i should have read the post well before posting that .... ) |
Nice, but wasn't Mother's day on March 10 ?? |
i showed the pic to some kids and they were running away like they had seen a masquerade... |
the only thing that was exciting in this thread was the "almost" cat fight between I.Joan and freecocoa - but alas my hopes were dashed ..... though it was entertaining to read the quibble over a celebrity ![]() |
wonderful...... now i understand what is meant by "hips don't lie" |
So tragic and painful. True love that is very moving. I shall go and give my loved one a hug, life is too short sometimes. |
aminho: All of yu are banned visit #21rulesofnairaland on twitterha ha - by the way - in case you did not know, using any imagine software on your computer you will be able to rotate that profile picture. |
dayokanu: Is he still alive?if he his then not for long oh |
DigitalSignal: How can you be taken seriously when your gender indicates you're male and you're here talking as a lady?Ha ha - I missed that. The whole story sounded like it was from ikebe super anyway. |
Orikinla: Ghanaian divas are advertising themselves on Nairaland for Nigerian guys, because we are hotter than their guys.Ha ha - think of what you just said..... If Ghanian girls are advertising themselves on NL it is because there are looking for the real men since they are probably frustrated with the fellas back in Accra (or any other town.gh) |
You know it's a slow day on NL when this thread is still number 1 on FP......sigh.....I guess all the active discussions and flame wars are what is keeping it there. |
ohaleoghene: Every fine fair girl is always looking like Mr cork's exLOL.....very true.....lets hope he's not a manti te'o though |
...she loooks like my ex...Loretta! |
Oh my goodness, so terrible. Kudos to the informants and our security forces. I hope the poor ladies can get resettled. |
Lilimax: Tiwa is naturally a tall lady. She may not need all the high heels and stilettos ogugua88: Lol she is?yes oh - she is a tall short gal ![]() |
