laykhorn: In science, we are taught to discard unproven theories. We deal in FACTS, not guessI agree. However, d known facts support the proposed theory, so it can b accepted until proven otherwise. |
And Keplar 22b is not in our solar system oooo. That planet is over 600 light years away from the earth. It is in another planet. It can sustain life cos they calculated it's distance from it's sun and found that its tempearature sixe and other parameters are life sustaining
Yea, i thot i mentioned that. I think dey call d solar system Keplar (can't really remember tho) |
newacca: welcomeThank you sir |
Not really ooo. A lot of moons in our solar system can sustain life
Sure. But it's either d gases aren't dense enuf or d water is usually frozen. Dis one am talkin about is said 2 b just like earth in terms of temperature range and possibly climate (although not proven yet). |
Hello dude. We don't always talk science ooo. It is more of literature here but ..........
I'll keep that in mynd(pun intended). |
laykhorn: Mars is earth-twin.. They got a lot together than that which contrast themI know, but there's a new one discovered last year that is twice the size of earth, and is called Earth 2.0 by some coz of it's position in it's solar system. It's called Keplar 22b, located in d life zone(i think), same as earth in d milky way. It's d only zone whr life is supported. |
Evening everyone. Have a wonderful night's rest and a lovely weekend. Compliments from me too. |
Sorry 4 just interrupting without an intro. I'm new in here, saying helo 2 everyone. |
Oahray: There have been some vague reports of discoveries of other planets tho, but none official as yet.Not in our solar system, and they are official. There's one said to be a twin of earth. |
Abeg red Moss help me ooo. How many planets are in our solar system cos it has caused a lot of arguements even in my class
That would be 8 |

Top of d morning folks. Been a while. How r y'all doing? So i understand u guys got down with pounded yam last night and una no fit call me. No wahala. Have a lovely weekend guys. An0nimus: At the sleepover NEPA still struck..no power all through the nite. I for sleep for my house smh.@anonimus...get used to it o, i already have. |
HumbledbYGrace: @ Superbloke can u share ur turning point?Well, i dnt have an 'inspiring story' like most people do in terms of conversion, like yours. I grew up a kind of straight guy, a 'good boy'. There were times i went cold, but i never went rogue. I always believed in God, was taught christian principles, and at a point i did d important...accepting Jesus officially (confession). No too much story to tell. |
drnoel: Am sure u read ur comment before u posted. Why so much hatred of the SE and later u would come and say one Nigeria. Pls people should grow up and try not to allow bitterness or sentiments overshadow u when u post comments. Children read our comments on NL. My little cousin just asked me what u meant and I didn't know what to tell him. Look, now citizenship is the future not indigenicity. Now am not sure how the Lagos land laws are but if it says someone who has occupied a land for 30 yes should have claims to it, what's stops the Lagos state government from trying to keep its promise. This is peoples livelihood we are talking about.Well said. I'm frm SW but i'm not impressed wit his comment at all. Hatred has eaten deep into us. About d land laws, i think it's important 2 understand dem first b4 making claims. Fashola is a lawyer nd i believe he had done his homework first. |
HumbledbYGrace: ok,I was born in the christian family. My mother was a devoted born again but I rebelled wwhen I reached my teenage years.I had to fit in lol, school pressure and moving to a new country contributed in ma bad habits.Really inspiring story...see as God dey catch person..lol. An interesting thread too |
Reyginus: Lai-Lai. I will eat alone and.....lolLol. Eat alone for wia? NL don join us 2geda. D second part...i have absolutely no problem with dat :-D |
Reyginus: Of how to make millions before I turn 25.Brother, abeg let us reason together. Lol |
Uhm...yes ma'am!! *frightened look* |

Make una go nollywood go act dis film abeg. Sounds like a good movie script wit all d makings of a blockbuster...conspiracy theories, espionage, lots of military action and fight scenes. Lol. Make una go find work do jare. Although it sounds inviting, like elueme said, it would make little difference if d root problem is not tackled within each person as shown by ethno-biased comments on here. Dis is just all a hoax. Nothing more. |

An0nimus: In other unrelated news: I watched two vampire movies this night. Now I look at myself & ask 'son, what have you gained?'..nothing, absolutely nothing:| The plots/scenes alone mehn..one of the reasons I prefer cartoons.more like mature animation movies/series |
