*CBN Postpones Launch Of eNaira* . The Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday announcedthe postponement of the planned unveiling of the digital currency, eNaira. The launch was initially scheduled for October 1, but was postponed due to other activities lined up to commemorate the country’s 61st Independence Anniversary. The apex bank’s Director of Communications, Osita Nwasinobi, explained in a statement that the CBN took the decision to postpone the launch, which had been initially planned to coincide with the Independence anniversary, in deference to the mood of national rededication to the collective dream of One Nigeria. The statement was titled, “CBN defers eNaira launch to mark Independence Anniversary” It read in part, “Ahead of the anticipated launch of Nigeria’s Central Bank Digital Currency, known as eNaira, the Spokesman of the Central bank of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Nwanisobi, says the planned unveiling on October 1, 2021 has now been deferred due to other key activities lined up to commemorate the country’s 61st Independence Anniversary.” While assuring that there was no cause for alarm, Nwasinobi said the CBN and other partners were working round the clock to ensure a seamless process that will be for the overall benefit of the customer, particularly those in the rural areas and the unbanked population. Reiterating the benefits of the eNaira, he stressed that Nigerians would be able to carry out peer-to-peer transfer to another person’s eNaira wallet as well as pay for goods and services at selected merchants. He added that the eNaira would also help reduce the use of cash and ensure stability of the Nigerian economy. On the readiness of banks and other financial institutions in the financial ecosystem for the launch of the eNaira, he reiterated that the digital currency was a journey. He explained that not all banks customers were expected to commence transaction on the day of the launch. The CBN Spokesperson, however, assured that financial institutions in Nigeria remained key actors and were a critical part of the Central Bank Digital Currency. Nwanisobi also noted that the CBN was mindful of concerns expressed about the eNaira, being among the first CBDCs in the world. According to him, the Bank had put a structure in place to promptly address any issue that might arise from the pilot implementation of the eNaira. https://punchng.com/cbn-postpones-enaira-launch-to-mark-independence-anniversary/ . ![]() ![]()

I also wonder why an app that wants to make people millionaires are displaying intrusive ads to generate heavy income this is funny. Immediately they started displaying those ads I gave up. |
Bobxin:Why are you replying that educated illiterate. He does nt know that he can be charged for invading tax if not now it could be 40 years from now, it is an obligation and must be fulfilled irrespective of time. That is how people destroy their business in Nigeria because of ignorance, imagine paying 20 years accumulated tax at once how much it will be. |

odysey:You will need to buy mining machines, the bigger the better. To mine more you will need a mining station consisting of 1000 to as much as 20,000 individual GPU mining machines. The issue with mining is that it consumes much power and produces lots of noise too. Checkout what a Btc mining station looks like below; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z4qbkQ3cK8 |
PuZZyNegro:Ethereum miners are balling with peoples money o. Why trade when you can make millions in transaction fees. |

Why should the agent fee be more than twice the cost of the shop, is Cubana the agent or what exactly. Better go around shops in the area and ask them how much they paid to secure their shops. At that rate the landlord is building free shops for the jobless agents. . @mynd44 help op get more opinions before she enter one-and-half chance |
BREAKING: Bitfinex just spent $23.7 million in fees to make a single Ethereum transaction Crypto exchange Bitfinex just paid $23.7 million in transaction fees to send $100,000 of tether (USDT) in what was presumably a bit of a slip up. The exchange made the transaction around two hours ago, according to block explorer Etherscan. The transaction was sent from one of Bitfinex’s main wallets and the money ended up at one of Deversifi’s wallets — a non-custodial exchange that was spun out of Bitfinex in 2019. The transaction was a smart contract interaction with the amount of tether sent to one wallet before being passed along to Deversifi’s wallet. It used the newly implemented EIP-1559 type of transaction, which was designed to make Ethereum fees easier to predict. The transaction was included in a block that was mined by an unknown Ethereum miner, who ranks in the top ten miners by blocks mined over the last seven days. This may be the largest Ethereum transaction fee ever paid in dollar terms. Previous notable occasions include two transactions that were made in June 2020 that added up to $5.2 million in fees.

ibromodzi:This pictures sums up the reason Satoshi Nakatomo disappeared. He never wanted BTC to be centralised and wished for it to remain at P2P levels, today governments, billionaires and companies have taken over. Just imagine what will happen to crypto should the government seize control of Grayscale or Microstrategy for debt, tax default or even for illegal business. With the data below btc is not as decentralised as we think. |
Next time you get such wrong transaction do not send it back to any new account number always send back to the originating account number or call your bank to refund such transactions theirself. The reason I am suggesting the above is that it could be proceeds from a kidnap ransom, or someone trying to launder money through your account. So many people are in jail for same scenario you posted, the bank is not at fault here but you. |
Kealmin:When it finally answers your prayer and dip to $28k you will shift it to $23k ![]() |
seankafor:Sell the coin and buy USDt on binance instead. We can also do that for you but the issue is that Ethereum gas fee for USDT is out of this world. |
