Elsueno: What about someone just saving? If 250naira can get u paint of garri last year match & then same paint is 900 today.
let's say u saved N100k in match till today, U will only get about 111 paints of garri as opposed to 400 u will get in match.
That is what I am trying to point out, any way it swings both those saving in Naira and dollar will be affected to a given extend. I know a man here in Enugu that saves his money in metals, once his money land he buys metal building materials and since I know of metals the price has not gone down even for a year it always increases. So I thinks money is not a good store of value again, even dollar have lost 25% of its value this year alone. No safe heaven again.
Even if $1 reaches #1000 each you will still make no profit because dollar exchange is linked to inflation, let me give an example. Last year March I was earning $40 per week via my freelance hustle at #380/$ and a paint rubber of garri in my state was #250 - 280 ($0.7) and a bag of water at #110, this year I still earn same $40 or more but same paint rubber of garri is now #900 - #1200 ($2+). So to me no profit here, the more the naira fall, the more the purchasing power of Dollar in Nigeria is affected.
Kingcalls: Amount matters ...stealing millions from someone to double it or make 50% profit is different from using 10k to gamble and win 100m... what u posted cant be justified in the courts ... it will be thrown out by the judge
Read your comment again and again and tell me if you made any sense at the end.
BennyDGreat: How will she prove it was the exact 10k stolen that he used to place the bet? What if the guy has counter-proof that he got the particular 10k he used to place the bet from elsewhere....what's gonna be the outcome in that case?
if that's the case he will only return the 10k he stole. But if it is proven he used any proceed or part of the stolen fund in the bet the girl is entitled to part or all the profit. A criminal has no case in front of a court.
Remag666: Really? So is it the law of the betting site they will use to judge a case of theft or the Constitution?
If the money have not been paid out the betting site rule will be first. If after payout the constitution. Either way it goes the guy will be guilty of an offence.
Kingcalls: Leave topic...I'm talking about the courts ....what of if he claims he borrowed her ...is there any proof that he actually stole it ... even if he stole it, is there any proof that he used the stolen money to bet
He has agreed it is stolen fund he used in placing the bet. Simple.
Remag666: The law is filled with a lot of grey spots so stop saying what you don't know. In which court will he forfeit the whole sum? The highest he will lose is a higher percentage of the amount he stole but he can never I repeat NEVER lose everything. All these quack lawyers just deceiving people here
Go and read the terms and conditions present in every betting website. You agreed that the money used in the bet belongs to you, in this case it is stolen and so null and void too. He either divides the money or she takes it all or both will lose the gains if she involves betting commission.
If Enugu state and Anambra state government can't come together and build that road just like Martin Elechi was able to do with Abakaliki-Enugu express road then they are useless to the people. Why not build it with state fund and demand a refund from federal govt or build the road and realise the money back via toll-gate fees for any vehicle that wish to pass. We can continue to cry over a problem we can solve on our own.
He will lose that whole earning if the girl takes the case to court and the girl will collect the earnings. It is a straight win for the girl should she sue the guy for stealing her money. Remember the case of Ivictus Obi. Worse case scenario, the betting company is involved, the man will be sued for money laundering because he violated their anti-money laundering rules and all winnings voided. . Read below the opinion of a criminal law practitioner and an ex law enforcement agent with 36 years experience.
There is a Maxim in the law taken from the Latin language. Ex Turpe Causa Non Artier Actio .In English it means: “From a bad or base cause no good can come”. The makers of the law knew before hand that there would be people who will try to skirt the rule of law for their own selfish and unlawful and dishonest purposes. A sum of money stolen and then used to invest in anything such as land or gold bars of silver or what ever kind properties and as a result makes a gain on it is still stolen property. Money has an “opportunity cost,” so when someone steals it from the owner, they are stealing the opportunity of the owner to enjoy his money or to employ it elsewhere to make a profit. The money is stolen and whatever is bought or what ever profits or returns on it is still stolen property and belongs to the original owner. So no attempt to launder the profits or the original sum will be lawful. It is a criminal act for which the perpetrator is well deserving of a jail term that the court may impose . Thieves sometime steal goods and sell them and use the proceeds of sale to buy jewelry or some other kinds of properties in a vain effort to launder the money .The jewelry is also stolen property. If the jewelry is sold and the proceeds used to buy gold bars, it is still stolen property. If the gold bar is melted down and made into gold coins, they still remain stolen property. Furthermore every person who helps in the process knowingly can be charged with handling Stolen property or receiving stolen property. In this case ,”willful blindness” is still “knowingly”. This remain so even if the police will return the property to the original owner after the Court is finish with the case and the penalty imposed.
There is another Latin Maxim used in law that says ;”He who comes to Equity Must come with Clean Hands”. It means that if a person does something wrong in both civil law and criminal law, they cannot come to the court to enforce any claim against the police or the owner who has since seized what is rightfully theirs because the perpetrator of the act “hands are dirty” .if one breaches a contract they cannot come to court to request that the court enforce any obligation ,clauses or duties against the innocent party to that contract.
Abdullah36: Hi guys, i am thinking of this cryptocurrency, please any advice for me like; Which coin should I buy Which wallet should I use I heard something like holding, wetin be holding?
If you are not in, please remain out. This space is no longer good for newbies because the old ones are praying to break-even so they can run away .
OpenHeaven2019: I don’t have too enough time to drop technical but this is playing out as I stated.
We got to the scene of the crime and dropped sharply to 43k.
I expect another drop to the low 40s (40k - 41k) when we hit 50k and then a rally again and a drop under 40k and fear sets in and liquidity becomes low and then we drop to 18k.
For 18k to happen Elon Musk, Spacex, Microstrategy, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, and Jack Dorsey must dump their bags. It wont be easy but possible and should it happen it will get down to $3000 where the covid dump stopped.
Fuelless ko, scammer ni. Oga scammer. @dominic @mynd44 @lalasticlala don't allow this guy to scam people here. He changes number and company name to scam with pictures he got online.
dogtails: Please my people I have a question about SUSHIUP oh,it was around 134$ February this year and now it's less than a dollar...Do u think it will go back up any time soon and what drives SUSHIUP to pump??
Sushiup is not a coin but rather a leveraged token that gives people more exposure to Sushi. Leveraged tokens do have an X return based on the percentage increase of the original asset. If the price of Sushi is $2 and you buy a leveraged Sushiup with X5 exposure, if the price of original sushi goes up by 10%, the sushiup will be 50% up, and if the price of sushi goes down by 10%, sushiup will be -50%. Sushi had a bullrun around february and march that saw a 1400% so sushiup got to that price. Opposite of sushiup is sushidown which shorts sushi by an x percentage when the price of sushi dumps. Each leveraged token represents a basket of open positions on the perpetual futures market , just see them as you trading in the futures market but with no need for you to disturb yourself with mark price, liquidations and stop-loss as obtainable in the real futures market. more examples of leveraged tokens include; BTCUP, BTCDOWN, ETHUP, ETHDOWN, ADAUP, ADADOWN, XRPUP, XRPDOWN etc. But leveraged coins suffer from maintenance cost and volatility decay so its not something you buy for long term but short-term profits. Note; cryptocurrency trading is a risk, trading leveraged token is a higher risk and fastest route to the village or city
All this people wey dey disturb the thread on Solana matter sef, you buy ATH and expect the coin to stay up forever . If you have any coin that doesn't follow the BTC trend just be careful na whales in action. Watch the next move; people will panic and sell their solana at a loss and the whales will enter again and create another FOMO with a pump to steal more liquidity. XVS ATH Bagholders says hello
aapaul01: This proxy is not working for me... What can I do please?
Just download OPERA BROWSER not OPERA-MINI and use the inbuilt VPN on it. After downloading go to settings and activate VPN and choose your location, use '''optimal'', untick ''use only on private tabs'' and that's it. That is what I have been using since the ban and it never disturbed for a second. Check screenshot I took now.
Raregem9000: Sir, the low voltage is due to bad transformer in the area and sometimes, current is even lower than 50Voltage on my stabilizer readings.
Here is the information on the stabilizer. Automatic Voltage Regulator Model :AVR-1000VA Output:220v Input: 100-280V
HMM. Visit any electrical shop or Generator repair shop and ask for Voltage booster then. You can check the price on Jumia or Konga for insight on price range and capacity.
Raregem9000: Exactly, what i need is something that will boost the current from 50voltage to like 150voltage. Where can i get the power booster from sir?
Please take the stabilizer to an electrician to rectify any internal malfunctioning. If the voltage in your area is low it can't be 50V because the stabilizer wont even power on with that little amount. Normal voltage supply is 110V - 230V. You can also call an electrician to measure the voltage in your area so you know the problem before looking for solution, I suspect the stabilizer is bad or you are not reading it correctly. What you see on the stabilizer screen could also be frequency and not voltage, it appears like this; 50Hz, 52Hz, 56Hz etc.
jedisco: I'd partly disagree with this.... It can be termed as partly manipulative- so is evey other market...
But then bitc0in is the fastest growing asset of the last decade and it's set to increase with time..
In the world of investing, having an asset that appreciates at even 10% yearly can be a gold mine... Bitc0in far outperforms that... If you look at tge big picture, crypt0 can be a blessing
Raregem9000: Good afternoon engineers in the house. I live in an area where low voltage is rampant and i plan to buy a 5000 voltage stabilizer for my appliances. My question is if a current of 70Voltage is been supplied to the stabilizer, would i get an output of 5000voltage? I have tried researching on this with google but didn't get any helpful results. Thanks.
Stabilizers are rated in Watts and KVA. What you seem to need is a voltage booster/transformer not Stabilizer from my understanding. The Voltage booster used in Tiger generators to press cloths and power cookers and other heavy appliances it can't power on a normal day should do the job you need.
Don't be too attached to a coin, always sell some whether red or green to solve sapa issues, crypto is highly manipulative and until you convert that your profit into Fiat you have no profit, even stablecoins is not guaranteed. Remember; Only the whales with at least 3000 BTC can determine the top or bottoms of coins, our own is to collect small profit as we can. As we go out there to to seek for profit from crypto may we not meet what will eat us for Breakfast
FahBuLous: An anonymous person called me early this morning claiming she's from NCDC and they are sharing funds for Nigerians through their bank accounts... So she asked me to send my account number and I did because I believe an account can't be hacked with just an account number but I'm kind of scared now, please is my account at risk? NB: I didn't send any other code or whatever, just my account number.. Cc Lalatisclala Cc mynd44
With only account number? NO. But they are likely going to call to send a code they will send to your sim for verification to them, DONT. They might also call back to demand for your BVN or Date of birth, don't agree.
Emeka511: I gave my gf an MouthAction and since then I have been having burning feelings on my tongue and it makes my mouth very uncomfortable.... I also noticed I started grinding my teeth. Please I need serious help.
Likely a case of HPV. Bacterial from the Vulva can actually be harmful to the soft tissue in the mouth and the reason why doctors recommend using DENTAL-DAM if you must engage in MouthAction. Also if you have a bleeding gum during oral and your partner is HIV positive the virus can get into the bloodstream via the bleeding gum. Just be careful next time.
