Shameless tribe. A thief is a thief. She should be shot. She needs armoured cars to protect her from her numerous husband's aristos. Is she The president. COAS, CGS or NSA or DG of NAFDAC. Use the sunnews paper, that comic and pathetic newspaper, to expose the thieves in SW too. No noise making and chest beating will save the bleaching oroyo and if she likes let her bleep GEJ in Israel, she is doomed. Festus Odimegwu was removed and nothing happens despite all the chest beating and threat from alaigbo and the nothing happened, same will be fall a societal stigma that cannot even run 3 homes. 255mm was stolen under the nose of a madam that can't even manage 3 of her homes talkless of a sensitive ministry such as Aviation. Clear case of incompetence. |
Take out Smalling and bring on Valencia. We can as well have 3 defenders . We need pressure. Damnnnnnnn |
Sincerely I'm just speechless. Stoke having more shots at goal than us. Jeeeeeeez. Nani, Smalling, Jones and Evans are playing as if they are training. We need quality players and not these mediocres wearing the red jersey. |
afrodoc:Which other keeper is out there that is better than the combo of DDG and Lindergrad? It's not just possible. In fact it's unthinkable. Mere thought of it is sacrilegious and that is pressing self destruct red button. We are very lucky to have a good replacement after VDS. Our last attempt to do so, took us.donkey years to achieve. . |
Please let them also buy a flying Mercedes Benz that is bullet, fire, bomb, boko haram, mend and Odeshi proof too at the cost of 500mm ONLY. Their kinsmen will also come out to defend them too for making the right decision and they will also tell us why they had to buy it because of threat of death through air mishap o that they are being witch hunted by people from poverty stricken land too. Mr. President will also set up a 7man committee to.investigate the immediate and remote causes of buying such Mercedes Benz and recommendations will be expected within 1month, despite the fact that we have anti-corruption agencies that are being paid with the tax payers money on a monthly basis. Mumudom for real!!!! |
chamotex: Just watching United's training session and Fletcher looks fit/healthy.You want to give us heart attack abi? |
dademola: with his present form, he shudnt even make d starting 11!! I'd rada hav nani on d left and maybe januzaj/valencia on d right! Bt mehn, d fact say we no even get any specific pattern of play dey worry me oo!! Na so so kick and follow!! ChoiWe are clearly patternless for now. Sincerely we only run after ball just like playing set on a secondary school pitch. I have not seen any tactical pattern of play. I saw this 3 or 4weeks all go and was pointing out but some people that are emeritus professors here were attacking me. See, for now, DM has nothing to offer. It is the bitter truth He might come out good 2years down the lane sha o. |
Rooney playing has 10 is not doing this team any good. Look at our dismal chances created and the problem is not far fetched. Our supposed 10 is not doing his job. Simple. Yea we can blame the entire team for our performance but even in the midst of this madness, if we can still be creating chances and scoring, we will hang in there till Moyes get his bearings. If Southampton is creating more chances than us, our 10 needs to be reviewed. I will rather suggest, he is shifted to the left and let us try kagawa in that position and see how it goes. For now our 10 clearly is one of our weakest points. |
Just can't stop thinking where Moyes got it wrong. Think his greatest mistake was sacking the backroom staff. Those his assistants can't even assist him to get the milk cup taklkless of EPL. |
Possession Man Utd 46% Southampton 54% Shots Man Utd 12. Southampton 18 Shots on target Man Utd 5 Southampton 7 Corners Man Utd 4 Southampton 4 Fouls Man Utd 10 Southampton 19 This is appalling and sickening. |
If we are to make CL at all, Fergie needs to come of retirement. Not making CL after all will be a blessing. The Glazers and Woodward we see the need to buy quality players. At this rate, all those commercial rights will start drying up and they will realise the need to pump money into the team urgently instead of being out rightly stingy or siphoning it into other things. Come to think of it, which quality player wants to play for Moyes? Moyes has never been, is not and will never be a successful coach. He is too mediocre for a team like man Utd. Sincerely, Fergie needs to be questioned over his choice. His "parapo" mentality put us into this mess. He had every opportunity to get Pep for us but he preferred someone from his village. The only way Fergie can appease me is for him to come out of retirement like Scholes and save the season ASAP. He should also be blamed for the mediocre players he bought into that team. |
When some of us saw the handwriting on the wall that Moyes is a disaster, some people were abusing us here. I don sign out. |
free R1: I will try to provide answers to your questions.I am not interested in whatever religion a school is affiliated to but a student does not have the sole right to distrupt the peace of the school, in the name of one religion, to the detriment of the others. To an extent that fundamentalist or supposed parents and religious leaders where going to school to beat teachers. That should not be encouraged in anyway. If religion and the right of the traditionalist too must be respected, then anarchy will set in. If it is true that the house of assembly deliberated on the mode of dressing in schools, that is fine but I hope they made provision for the right of a traditionalist ward too to be putting palm fronds or cowries on. Shikena. The idea behind everybody being on the same school uniform is not the best. Wil the ID cards be produced for free? Why not make the distinction right away from the uniform. So a student can go to Ife and commit a crime and run back to ikirun and police will be looking for the same student in Ife. On osun not being lagos, agreed, they ain't the same. That does not mean every policy should be taken hook line and sinker without mind probing questions to be answered. No one has a monopoly of knowledge and wisdom. |
Brimmie: Lol.. I find the Red Part funny.. Yeah.. Maybe they are just being stubborn. One love. |
Brimmie: I wont lie to you, Aregbe has tried his best to enlight people about this Policy. If he has done all that and CAN is still adamant, that states two things. It is either they are not convinced or they are being stubborn unnecessarily. He should therefore take them on in a live debate where the whole state will Be well lectured through the well televised debate and this will clear the air over the animosity and suspicion once and for all. |
mistudreh: thanks for the reply. before any policy could be in use in any part of the world where democracy is being practised, all stakeholders in the area will surely rub minds with the govt before the final decision on the policy. all stakeholders in osun state have met with the govt it just that the CAN through the Baptist are acting other. the Parents were even allowed to contribute their quota to the policy. There is a dress code for all students in the school policy of the min of education and hijab is not included. The nomenclatures I was referring to are the names of the schools - elementary middle and high schools; name of the state and name of programs but dayokanu has done justice to that. Thanks. |
Brimmie: We have 8 Sec. Schls here, and 2 of it are currently use for High School. Thanks for your explanation. I'm not against aregbe but that some people have turned him to demi-god that we cannot question his actions should not be condoned. He has the responsibility to explain whatever he is doing and not to be shroud in mystery. He is a good visionary leader but not everybody should be in the bandwagon of sycophancy, lest he derails. |
Brimmie: I actually used the Laboratory as an example. There are many things involved to improve the standard of High Schools.. which are costly. You are making sense now. Why cant the government make extral effort to let the people understand what they are working towards like this. If they don't understand it, it will cost the government more money and time that will be spent on enlightenment campaigns |
dayokanu: You mean whenever the student want to use the lab they should go to another school? Why not simply build a giant school for everyone and well equipped for all?So what happens to the abandoned schools grounds while the students move to a bigger school. What happens to the little those schools have in their laboratory . I quite understand your analogy with obamacare. Maybe I'm being overtly concerned about the longevity and sustainability of the programmes . Like you are advising, we should live now and let tomorrow take care of itself. Ok. All students should be advised by the same govt to attend the schools in peace without formenting troubles that could spiral into the larger society. A classical example is what happened at Iwo |
dayokanu: The schools are all owned by the Government and govt decision takes precedence. Govt pays the teachers salaries, Govt maintain the infrastructureDayokanu Thanks. My bone of contention is o this o-that. A change of government will lead to a change of the names or outright cancellation. If the name of o-reap is sustainble agricultural programme or anything like that. That becomes more difficult to change. I can bet my life that another party will change state of osun. Write it down. Then why waste public funds on printing letter heads carrying such. I quite agree that schools must follow goverwnt policies through the min of education but such policies must be well articulated to the citizenry. No matter how beneficial a policy of govt is, in as much as the populace does not understand it, it will be loathe with suspicions, insinuations and sabotage might set in. It won't cost the govt more to let the people understand what they are trying to do. It will cost it more at the end of the day if such policies are rejected out of suspicion and misguided trust issue. |
Brimmie: Let me just do as-if i didnt see your Insults. You started the insults and I will not condone that after the initial advise. Back to our discussion. I am not a religious bigot and you know it that in Yorubaland, there is virtually no family without Muslim or Christian members. My argument is, once school ethics will be adhered to without throwing the state into Religious turmoil. Fine. But a student lording it over the school because of her faith is totally appalling and should not be encouraged because you are sending a wrong message into he psyche of the kids. I understand your explanation on school laboratory. For such a town that you described, why can't the government just provide a centralist laboratory and library for such a town and the rest. Rather than confusion playing out. O |
dayokanu: So the problem you have is the name and not the program, Then thats a small problem you can decide to call it anything you likeThe programs are sustainable on their own but on the basis of their nomenclature, another party will cancel it. You kno how these things are. |
mistudreh: wish i were with you to let you have better understanding of the educational reform.God bless your level of knowledge. I quite understand everything you said but the govt has a lot to do to make the popular understand all these. No one is against 35studenta being in class , the argument, why must be nomenclature be different from what obtainable, except your argument is osun state is the guinea pig for the project. On the issue of hijab, I don't have any problem with it, provided no students goes to any school to forment trouble with it. If a particular school says it is not allowed because it is not in the acceptable code of dressing according to the curriculum of the min of education, such students should respect the decision of the school. No religion is above govt policy or else we will soon see traditionalist kids wearing palm fromds and cowries to school and it must be accepted to. dayokanu: Whats the big deal? dayokanu: Whats the big deal? dayokanu: Whats the big deal? |
Brimmie: [s][/s]You are definitely reasoning with it our brain upside down o-mor0n. The world knows that the o stands for osun but won't another party attach to APC and change all the names again or cancel the programs out rightly. wont that result in a waste of scarce public funds and policy somersault. Has laudable and successful as the programmes are, the sustainability is what you hollow heads sycophants should be thinking of and not keeping your meal ticket for now because you are shouting o-dis or o-dat |
Brimmie: Cool down and stop Foaming!!I was waiting for a confirmed idi0t like you to reply. Oga, you are not talking to village square people here, uniforms are different. So don't spew nonsense here. The roads are bad and therefore transportation cannot be provided but students should be trekking 10kms to school. Can you see how daft you are? Is there a dress code in the govt policy for your mummy that is a teacher in a Government school or is hijab stated in the govt's School curriculum. Why can't a Muslim kid just apply to her Muslim school where her hijab and priesthood dressed will be allowed and let the so called xtian schools die natural death if it is true that it is only Muslim students that are in governments schools. You are very funny. The policy is not different. It is clearly confusing and derailing. Whatever reform that was intended can be done within the ambit of 6334 that everybody understands. Religion has never been a problem to us in Yorubaland but we all saw how order nearly broke down at Iwo. A responsible govwment should be preventive and not curative. I cannot take anything away from aregbe's milestones and I give it to him. But save your idi0cy and your pathetic psychophancy by not having the guy to ask question. My question remains , explain how school merging will improve education. |
All these O-dis or O-dat programmes has laudable as they are, how sustainable are they with such names attached to them. If per adventure, another party eg LP wins osun State, they will change the names of all the programmes. Won't that lead to govt policy somersault. Why can't he just give he programmes a universal name that can stand the test of times. We should stop all these psychophancy politics. Coming to the name state of osun, if another party enters, (I pray it not to be so for now) won't they revert the name back to osun state. That will amount to waste of public funds on letter heads, names on cars, signposts. All these plastic reforms of names are not just sustainable. |
Brimmie: You expect him to just bring-in some Coaster Bus with no good roads!? Let Aregbe finish with Road Constructions first. So, why put the cart before the horse? |
Please all of you shouting osun a Dara or what is the nonsense slogan or like Awo like aregbe, should just explain to us how school merging will boost education. Is there a special transportation arrangement in place by the government to cushion the effect the distance some students will always have to convey on a daily basis? Why are all the students wearing the same uniform like a communist state. Why is osun state or state of osun's educational policy different from that of the federation. How will a Muslim kid insist she will be wearing hijab in a baptist or catholic school? When she can easily seek admission to a full Muslim school. The merger has an undertone that must be explained. Why the hurry to merge and start a policy that teachers, parents and citizens of the state does not understand. In aregbe's quest to perform and be unique, he should also realise this is not a military regime, where he can just take a decision without explaining the nitty gritty to the people is expected to be responsible to. Can Fashola dare all this in lagos. This is totally irrational and without logic. I don't want any abuses from anybody, just reply my questions objectively. If after this warning you still decided to go through that path, bring it on. Thanks |
