no, Wenger just signed a new contract with Arsenal. People also say that part of the settlement deal with chelsea means that Mourinho cannot coach in England for a specific amount of time, I believe he is going to Portugal to do some work in their FA, maybe take over the Portuguese team after Scolari's contract ends.

if you read my blog, please leave a comment or something thanks. and thank you for taking the time.

i hate hate hate hate hate washing dishes/pots. it takes me soo long. some music in the background helps sha. if you get rubber gloves and turn the water to full hot, it makes things faster as the grease is melted quicker. i dont have rubber gloves sadly

i dont mind cleaning the toilet. i hate dirty toilets so im always making sure its clean after every use.

i dont understand why people hate washing clothes so much when they have machines. easiest thing in the world. put shit in, do something for an hour. put shit in dryer. come back 1 hour later, presto dry clothes. and if you're quick and you fold the clothes when they are still hot/warm from the dryer, you don't have to iron them as such, most fabrics anyway. i only know of one pair of trousers that i have that always looks rumpled after a wash. i only iron my shirts when im going out. i dont do it enough to hate it.
EducationRe: Bad Things You Did In Secondary School? by suprted(m): 10:37pm On Sep 21, 2007
was a pretty good student but used to fight (and lose) a lot.

one time i got suspended for fighting, came to school though because i didn't want my parents to kick my ass.  i was suspended for a week, from monday to friday.  I went everyday and hid in the toilet but got caught on the thursday, not even caught as such, just that the guy who saw me remembered that i was meant to be suspended after the fact.  cue the entire school looking for me.  i had to scale fence to get home. the next day i thought i was safe, walked back in like normal, they punished me all day.  i almost got expelled.  the beating my parents gave me when they found out.  worst fking night of my life.

this wasnt in secondary school, but when i was in the states, i lived in a boarding house of sorts and we shared facilities with other people.  anyway i hated one of my neighbours so one day i took his teaspoon from his locker and used it to feed sugar and water to a rat that had been caught in one of those rat gum traps and was lying there weakly, then i put the spoon back in his locker.

oh in js2, i painted stones bright colours and put it in a tin and called it rock candy, one guy ran and was like please can i have, gave it to him, he would have broken his teeth if he hadn't tasted the nasty paint first.
SportsRe: Women's World Cup 2007 by suprted(m): 9:22pm On Sep 21, 2007
because i just went through their photos in fifa.com, i think looks was the major criteria
are you high? they are without a shadow of a doubt the most beastiful set of women i have ever seen. look at the number 2. a real number 2, looks like a slightly version finer version of Taribo. that said, stella mbachu is cute. christie george is ok, but her face is a little long and horselike. why do some of these girls look like they shave? maureen mmadu is also ok. some of the girls are not so bad but look like they bleach? ok yinka kudaisi is fine too. uwak is ok, cole is ok (but she looks like a strict primary school teacher). some of them even have adam's apples.

jesus, i wouldn't want to see your significant other (but if you have one at least you have one embarassed)

decimals are the fractions in decimal form. ie. 2.50 is 5/2 for instance. on sites like ladbrokes and will hill you can actually specify which ones you want. highly unfortunate about akinlabi's accumulator this evening.
Music/RadioRe: Would A Rock Concert Pull A Crowd In Nigeria? by suprted(m): 11:35am On Jul 20, 2007
rock sucks
not as much as hiphop. 50 cent? utter self-service. who gives a crap about his ice, or that he got shot 9 times. i didn't grow up in a ghetto. you should open your mind and listen to good music before comparing it to poor shit with little musical talent. like 50 can sing or play an instrument, he's basically a black version of n'sync. even the beats, he needs some hot producer (on a computer/drum machine etc mind you) to actually produce any shyte.

(this doesnt include artistes like the roots or mos def btw- people i'm sure you don't listen to cos they don't have t-shirts in aba or dosunmu or wherever you buy your gear.)

PS. it won't be successful because like some of the naysayers on this thread, nigerians are closed minded and scared of seeming 'white' (funny that most of mainstream rap is bought by prepubescent white boys) so no it won't. Maybe if it was free at first to entice people, yeah right, like U2 will actually come all the way here and perform for free.

TravelRe: My Trip To London With Qatar Airlines by suprted(m): 10:58am On Jul 20, 2007
Qatar airways is good.

things people should know.

Cheap tickets are good if there are no extenuating circumstances. you got charged 400 dollars excess baggage because you probably most likely did the typical naija thing and packed your entire house wink for someone like me, who is generally always under limit (watch me go over when i head home in a couple of weeks) i would never go over.

BA is f**king overrated and for the price of an economy seat, you can actually fly business on lufthansa. very respectful and patient staff. the only issue is the need to get a transit visa everytime but i even avoid this cos i generally have an entry visa whenever i go home.

unfortunate about the food, when i am sitting in one of those flying coffins, thats the only thing that i look forward to, so to be given vegetarian crap, that said, some muslims will only eat the vegetarian option to be sure that they don't violate any halal laws so perhaps they have a point.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Is Christian Dating So Difficult? by suprted(m): 3:15pm On Dec 22, 2006
i never really understood how anyone could get together with no plans for the future. for me, there is nothing wrong with dating. the term courtship, is more a hindsight one, i.e. if you marry or even get engaged, then you can refer to your dating experiences as courtship.

there is nothing wrong with dating. we should be practical and realistic. just because someone is a christian doesn't mean they are the right person for us. just because we are christian doesn't mean we will instantly like everyone. god says we should love one another, but this basically means we should treat them as we would be treated. we should not sin against our brothers, in other words. ergo, when we were in the world, we didn't like anyone and the same goes for church, we might not like everyone there. i certainly don't like a huge percentage of my church. they mean well but rub me up the wrong way. doesn't mean i wouldn't help them if they were in need.

for me, dating is what we do before we get married. a dating relationship can be a couple of dates (after which you realise that its not gonna work out) or it can be an amazing multi-year thing in which you discover this amazing person. i dunno, maybe this is too worldly a view.

i have to say i have issues with the whole relationship and God thing. i used to pray everyday that god would show me The One, or that I would meet a nice Christian girl or something. Its never happened, I've consistently struck out with the girls at my church. i dunno, i don't want to get married tomorrow, but in my experience, there is nothing more fulfilling than being with someone. it makes every day feel like christmas or your birthday.

RE: christian dating. its possible. it can be fun. however, we shouldn't walk into temptation traps. i would not advocate spending the night at your S.O.'s house. i would avoid watching films with sexual undertones alone together, or even with other people. i think it can be done. you just, like the rest of your christian life, have to be disciplined.

apologies for the rambling, schizophrenic nature of my post. its such an interesting topic

SportsRe: 4 Goals In 3 Matches! Will Kanu Be The Goal King In The Epl This Season? by suprted(m): 6:20pm On Sep 02, 2006
haha. it makes me laugh how people think kanu is gonna be a goal machine this season. this is how he always does. even when he played his best season at Arsenal (99/2000 16 goals, [12 in 31 premiership apps]) he scored in bursts. he scored 7 in 10 at the start of the season, then 5 in the last few matches as well.

the next best time he had was when he scored 5 goals in 3 games in 2002-03 and then promptly failed to score any more. so when he was at his best he only scored 16 goals and you guys have him beating that.
SportsRe: Uefa And Isreal by suprted(m): 6:13pm On Sep 02, 2006
because most of the Arab countries don't recognise Israel as a country and as such will not play Israel in any competitive fixtures. they might not even play them in friendlies. Israel has played in various groups in the past, but since the nearest organisation is UEFA, they play there. other teams who play in UEFA despite being located in Asia pretty much are Russia, Turkey, Azerbijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia amongst others.

hope this helps.

TV/MoviesRe: The Gardener's Daughter: TV Soap Opera by suprted(m): 1:20am On Sep 01, 2006
nigerian movies are the crappest in africa. just because they are popular doesn't make them great. they are technically shite (crap sound quality, lack of skill in cameras, poor makeup that messes up the actresses complexions- i refuse to believe that omotola has such nasty skin), poorly scripted, poorly casted, and uninnovative. if i see one more story about a wicked mother in law who makes life for her son's wife a living hell, only realising her error when it is too late, but finding god in the end. i will vomit (i don't say this lightly) i havent vommed for 12 years.

how you can even compare them to south african movies and look at yourself in the mirror disturbs me. we have a long way to go before one of our movies will even be nominated for an academy award.
