I don't think that this is the goal. If Russia had gone Hiroshima on Ukraine the way America did to Japan then, you wouldn't be typing this. Things would have been too disastrous. So far I think russia's aim is to capture the said neo nazis and demilitarize the country without incurring a lot of civilian casualties.

In Anambra it mostly just extorting students where that would likely happen is at awka. the shop rents are not that crazy and most times light is reasonably steady

There are many video even by Ukrainians displaying Russia soldiers avoiding civilians and moving away. If Russia is in warring, those Ukrainians would have been counting their corpse in thousands.

I know that but the US have nothing to lose for now and Ukraine would have no face if they back out now and it seems like all the Countries in NATO are backing them silently(world war) the strongest ally has currently that most of these countries also silently hate is another world power China. You are correct...but it is a war they can never win, and their allies can only last a very short distance...I know this is how international relations works...but all parties must show caution. This is how World Wars start...a little spark can make an entire forest burn to ashes.
