The guy who opened is now a wailer. I saw him complaining bitterly about Buhari's government on another thread. When we were warning them against voting for an idiot. they didn't listen |

This is embarrassing. Buhari's stupidity is worse than Boko Haram. It is worse than corruption... What a disgrace The interviewer tried very hard to hide his embarrassment. He did well |
What a shame. The president was just wailing and admiting its failures in his letter... Virement my ass |
Government of lies and dishonesty. Budget 6 trillion and implement 4 triliion. |
Happened to operation crocodile smile? Abi the crocodile teeth don break? |
biodun83L:Thunder fire you. So it is you whot voted and supported Buhari that wants this country to move forward? Mumu. |
Puvour:Better plan? What makes you think Abuja has a better plan than Nairobi? |
Lagos needs this more than anyplace in the world. |
At least you're not a hypocrite like the big fool that is the current president who is a dishonest, cheating and lying thief who dines and wines with his fellow thieves but claims to be fighting corruption. I'll rather have a corrupt GEJ as president than a cheating and dishonest hypocrite like Buhari. |
Puvour:I have been to Nairobi and I live in Abuja. Nairobi is better planned and more beautiful than abuja, with better infrastructure. |
Nobody cares. |
A hopeless country called Nigeria. |
TonyeBarcanista:The civil war happened over forty years and under military regimes. I don't know why they failed to setup a development commission but the truth is that the easterners failed to take any action towards ensuring that something sort of that nature was instituted to redress the problems. The level of destruction in areas you mentioned is nothing when compared to what terrorism has done to north east. Even the whole world is aware of that and foreign donations have been pledged to ensure that the north east is redeveloped. It will be terrible if news goes out that a bill that was supposed to redevelop a war torn part of Nigeria wasn't passed. What will the international media say? You have to commend the reps for doing the constituencies proud and condemn your own reps for not doing anything to better the lives of their own constitutuencies... |
Sibrah:But nobody took action about instituting a south east development commision? |
TonyeBarcanista:The north easterners are Nigerians, if your mind and mentality wasn't biased because of ethnic sentiments, you wouldn't see anything with it. A section of Nigeria has been severely ravaged by terrorism and violence, it is the duty of every patriotic Nigerian to ensure that part of Nigeria be rebuilt and the Nigerians living resume their normal lives with stability. Is anything wrrong with that? |
Its a patriotic bill. The bill to grant Lagos a special status was pointless and unreasonable, the NEDC bill isn't. |
Because they are Nigerians and Nigerians are not reasonable human beings. |
I pity the North sometimes. In a country with one of the worst educational systems in Africa, they're the worst performing. |
And yet when, 30 years later, in 2015, Mr. Buhari was elected as a democratic president, I welcomed it. Because for the first time, Nigerians had voted out an incumbent in an election that was largely free and fair. Because Mr. Buhari had sold himself as a near-ascetic reformer, as a man so personally aboveboard that he would wipe out Nigeria’s decades-long corruption. He represented a form of hope. This woman is a terrible disappointment. As "enlightened" as you are Adichie, you welcomed the emergence of an ex-military dictator who almost destroyed the country? There is no other country in this world where a former military dictator will contest and win elections twenty yearss after his exit from power except in this useless Nigeria, whilst having the backing of supposedly enlightened people. Nigeria is the only in the world where people vote ex military dictators and we wonder why we are not progressing. |
Wetin this one sabi? |
On a useless country like Nigeria? That's the most impossible thing |
obailala:All you guys do is mention TSA. |
Rather than fight corruption, this govrnment is making Nigeria's corruption problem worse due the hardship it has inflicted on the people. People have now resorted to stealing and all sorts of corrupt practices to make ends meet. |
obailala:I know and admit that Nigerians cannot stop engaging in corrupt practices overnight. My point is that this administration is not "fighting corruption". No new laws, institutions, policies, programs or acitivities have been instituted by Buharis's regime to actually "fight corruption". Going after individuals who allegedly stole public funds is not fighting corruption. What has Buhari's Government done to ensure that within the next four years, corruption will be drastically reduced in critical sectors of our socio-economic and political life? The answer is none. |
How exactly is Buhari fighting corruption? Because Nigeria is the still as stinkingly corrupt as ever. Policemen, civil servants, custom and immigration officers, lecturers and teachers, judges and lawyers, pastors, businessmen and politicians are still as corrupt as ever. Nothing has changed. Nigerians still openly pay and receive bribes, extort money, steal, frame and commit a dozen other corrupt acts as much as ever. Going after individuals who allegedly stole money is not the same as fighting corruption. |
General Buhari was a former military dictator who usurped power from a civilian government. Yes, he is the cause of our problems. |
sarrki:There are some things a President should never be caught saying. Denigrating womanhood is one of them. Meanwhile, he said this in front of one of the most powerful women in the world. How do you expect her to feel as she also someone's wife. |
The president of the most populous black country in the world insulted his wife in front of prominent world leaders and you're calling it a joke? You must be a fool Mr She hu. |
People just dey lie for this thread. 200 on a Nigerian road? Do you people even know how fast 200 is? Abeg make una lie small small. My max speed was 140 and I had an accident. This was even last month.
|
Well, Nigerians voted active participants of two of those coups twice to be civilian presidents. One was voted in 1999 and the other was voted last year. What does that tell you? |
