You have learnt to cope with life disappointments and other unpleasant things in life by choosing not to deal with them in a confrontational way or process the emotional aspect that would be associated with such things instead you compartmentalise and behave as if it never occurred. This leaves you vulnerable and also makes people think you are callous and cold. It’s not easy to find a way around this because this is the way you cope with things unless you can afford to explore other ways via psychotherapy for example . There are lot of things they will readjust if they could reduce someone that collecting 250. If you are in Lagos or abuja and you earning 250 per month you will still be struggle for how to survive .

There is what they call basic salary.It should be equal.There is also what we call allowances.Housing is included.Food is cheaper in Lagos, should we then increase allowances of those in the east? Each region has their comparative advantages over other regions.Unjustified sentiment should not be used in payment of equal services.

Meritocracy:
Lets tackle the problem once once, lets everybody be on the same salary structure of 30k minimum wage and the total package be determined by allowances due to nature of work.
