Whether you like it or not, there are all kinds of sexual predators in this world. Most despicable are the ones that prey on minors. These paedophilic devils should be the concern of every parents because they are everywhere and they come in all forms. They could be anybody even your brother or sister. Here are tips and signs that are going to be effective in protecting your home from paedophilic predators.

1) KID'S DISCOMFORT : If your child is not happy and comfortable when you are taking him/her to visit Mr. Bolaji or if Mr. Bolaji is coming for a visit, then you should start asking the appropriate questions and investigating. If your child's countenance changes for the worse when you mention the name of Mr. Bolaji, start asking the appropriate questions. Don’t take chances. If you notice that you child is trying to avoid someone for no reason apparent to you, start asking the appropriate questions.

2) LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN : do you know that some people's brain are so bounded to the altar of their pastors and daddy GOs that if their children tell them "pastor Emma raped me," they would respond with "keep quiet, don't say such bad thing against the holy man" ? Some would even punish their children. As a result of this nonsense, many children suffer silently because their parents are brain dead to their pastors and bishops. If your little child tells you that someone raped him/her, believe them even if there is no evidence and the person is a close family friend, pastor or relative. It's better not to take chances with your children. It's better your kid be shown to be lying than for you to ignore your kid and let the abuse continue.

3) MIND WHO YOU LEAVE YOUR CHILD WITH : mind who you leave your kids with. Personally, anyone can be an abuser but be careful when it comes to holy men eg. pastors, reverend fathers and sisters, bishops etc. It's not just the catholic clergies that rape minors, many clergies in other denominations are guilty as well. Why be more concerned about clergies? They have more freedom to do these things and can cover up with ease. Top clergies have followers that will blindly defend them by all means and they have the money to avoid justice. So they are under no pressure to change their ways and can be reckless in their paedophilic habits if they want. If you think clergies don't abuse kids, you are own your own. The catholic church even purposely cover up the mass sexual abuses of minors.

Not just clergies, it could be neighbours, their teachers, your relatives, their step parent etc. be watchful!

4) EDUCATE YOUR KIDS : sexual education is not a taboo. Teach them that people are not supposed to touch and play with certain parts of their body. Tell them that it is wrong and they should unfailingly report those who do such. If you don't educate your child on this issue, the world may teach them the harsh way.

5) PROPERLY ORIENTATE THEM ON REALITY AND THE INTIMIDATION OF SEXUAL ABUSERS : if you keep telling your child that juju and curses are real and effective and uncle Charles rapes your child and tells her "if you tell your parents, this juju will make you run mad and kill your parents," you are on your own. Many child molesters have used this and other similar tactics to keep children from reporting to their parents/guardians and they also use this means to continue the abuse without risking getting reported by the victims. This is sad but true. Some even threaten to physically attack the child and the parents if the child spills the beans.

Teach you children that the threats of these sadistic predators are empty and they should unfailingly and without fear report if any abuse happens.

6) TEACH THEM WHERE THEY SHOULDN'T BE GOING OR DOING : create a policy in your household that when you are away, none of your kids should open the door for anyone even if they say that you sent them. Teach them that they should not go to anyone's house without your knowledge neither are they to walk in any secluded area. Teach your little kids not to accept drinks or food from neighbours, teachers, pastors etc. Lastly, tell them not to accept a ride from anyone, answer strangers or going with strangers to unknown destinations.

Don't deceive yourself.I do know in law there is what is called judicial precedent. Senate president can cite this case as a basis.We should not thwert the Constitution or interpret it otherwise.
