Well, this is democracy, there are still so many people who are routing for him based on "na our brother" mentality, or those who benefit directly or indirectly, those who hate the Yorubas and the Northerners(you know yourself) and those who believe he jas really worked and deserves a 2nd term.
With all being said, if GEJ contests and wins and ends hid next tenure, he would be 1st Nigerian leader to use 10 years in office consecutively which is against the 1999 constitution hence, d need to set up a confab for a new constitution. As events unfolds, only time will tell.

When a patient is wheeled in half dead you dont stand around asking JAMB questions as a nurse - you get into action. The guy was rushed in on sunday night. It was an emergency. He was accompanied by an ECOWAS official. His condition was critical. The first thing that came to the minds of the front desk officer and nurses must have been ''Let us stabilize this individual first''. The guy cld not walk,he had to be assisted by peeps in the hospital,wheeled to the emergency room. Most of the primary cases are those who worked on sunday night/monday morning. You do not ask a guy in a critical condition if he is from Nigeria before u treat him. That is how it is done on the field of work,not behind the phone screen.
Suspicion of Ebola started on monday morning,after the dude claimed to be having MALARIA. He put pressure to be discharged. He denied ever being in contact with an ebola patient despite his sister's death. Under such circumstances,wld any of u have done better? I applaud the whole medical team!

1. They should seen signs and symptoms of ebola and kept their distance until they put on bio-harzards. (of course they didn't have cos they weren't prepared!).

2.They should have been watching out for patients like that considering the fact that WHO and the rest of the world have been warning us about this since.

Both countries have their own problems, if America thinks for some reason they can't release zmapp (an experimental drug) to Nigeria, its no big deal. Meanwhile, it is possible that her delay in making the correct diagnosis led to the spread of the infection in the first place, especially to health workers at the First Consultant Hospital.

Doctors should learn to have high index of suspicion ALWAYS. The history of arrival from Liberia should have made Ebola high on the list of differentials after the initial assessment. If only that was done, lives would have been saved. This is why doctors are key in the hospital setting. The decision of doctor do not only determine if the patient will survive or not, it may also save or endanger the lives of other health workers.

Anyway, we are grateful to God because it could have been worse. It could have been worse if the diagnosis of Ebola was not made eventually at the First Consultant Hospital

Do IQ tests, make sure they are free of religious dogma and can solve a simple task without bringing God into the equation. Evacuate these 100,000 - 200,000 Nigerians to a place in New Zealand. Nuke the whole country to the ground, wait 10 years or until the radiation effect is minimal and the land is habitable, then transfer the Nigerians back to reproduce and let's start over. That's the only solution to this country

Last monday, doctors "on strike", joined LASG for teaching programs on ebola. (While you went to work/did your hustle/did 419 or whatever and got enough money to eat 3 meals that day.) When one asked that the Commissioner or Minister (your LASG and FG representative) to wear the protective gear and demo giving an IV to an infected patient, excuses such as "they havent practised medicine in years" were made.
Lagos was given 20 PPE suits for ebola. 20 suits, then they sent 1,000 suits to Abuja (a city with NOT ONE EBOLA PATIENT) and are neglecting infected patients in Lagos. How many hospitals do you have in Lagos?
