If only apologies could erase mistakes. We are talking about millions of lives here. A mere "I'm sorry" makes a mockery of it. Let her keep her apologies till this whole thing has died down and we are once more relaxed and carefree again. |
anonimi: Fashola seems to be very adept at swallowing his own vomit after taking CLUELESS hasty decisions such as the one to challenge Jonah David Jang's NGF election in court before he withdrew it.Will you shut your trap! To vomit and leave it there to stink and cause havoc (like your GEJ and all his sickening words/and things he has failed to do) or to go back and clean it up which is better? Rabbish paid agent that has no clue how to earn his money. |
chiefinalowo: Apologies, if it made you cry.I am not crying because you took on me but because majority of so-called older Nigerians like you cannot see beyond their sentimental noses. That is very depressing at times like this when we should have a learnt a thing or two by now. FYI, you can hardly call me a child oga sir. |
OmoNwa: Opinion is like ass, everybody has one, let's learn to respect each other's opinion plz!I think the devil should be our next president because he is sexy. That's my opinion. Now tell me you respect that! |
chiefinalowo: Can you reply your father like this? And is that my father? Why are Nigerians so sentimental mbok. This is so distressing, it's making me cry right now. |
chiefinalowo: GEJ and any other person (be it Muslim or Christian)And this is one of the daftest! |
arewafederation: Examples of Muslim/ Muslim ticket: Asari Dokubo/ ShekauThis is one of the most sensible replies to a topic I have ever seen! |
BluStreak: Will it not be right for the federal government to declare Marshal Law in Lagos? That way, they can order commuter buses to carry 3 passengers per row of seat instead of the usual 4 or 5. Mandate BRT buses to carry only seated passengers. Ebola can be transmitted via sweat and we live in a temperate region where sweating is common. Government should put stiff emergency laws against unnecessary public gatherings. A massive/aggressive campaign on the presence of this deadly virus and it's prevention should commence in all regions of the country and not just in Lagos. I have no doubt this will attain an epidemic proportion. The movement of people across the Nigerian states on daily basis cannot be equated. God help us. Is this the beginning of the end?I pray a govt official sees this post. In fact please start a campaign for this. This is one of the most effective ways of keeping ebola in check. |
Toyolad: I just switched on my nokia phone and two hands refused to shake hands..hmmm I guess that's the fear of Ebola. The next time I see a joke on ebola, I'm gonna show the poster how bitter lemons can be. |
This topic should be "Why Americans Should Not Panic" All the points here do not apply to us in Nigeria. OP is just desperate to make front page and some uninformed mod brought it to front page? |
moscobabs: When SARS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome) broke out between November 2002 and July 2003, we saw how the authorities of China and Hong Kong managed the whole situation. They did not blame anybody, they just went to work and were successful in containing it even though it claimed 775 lives and affected over 8,000 people. Their governments funded their local scientists and worked with scientists all over the world. When the bird (avian) influenza also broke out, we saw how the various nations reacted, no one blamed anybody. Those conspiracy theorists annoy the good graces outta me. They have absolutely no idea how dumb they look/sound when they start their talks. |
Forwetinnah: You can get angry for all I care or rant till 2019, one thing you can never make me do is question my IQ. Iya olode. .what have you done so far to help the scourge? What have I done so far? Do I look like a President or governor to you who has the power to make sure people from infected countries are properly screened before coming into the country? Do I have powers to close borders? (governors are not even powerful enough but they can provide isolation wards for ebola patients) abi what else can one really effectively do to curb this disease? Abi did I tell you I have healing powers? Olodo rabata! Dundi united! International dummy. empty skulled lab rat! |
RedBenson: *clears my eyes*The fear of ebola is the beginning of wisdom/common sense |
Forwetinnah: So na GEJ be immigration now sheyGEJ is not immigration but he's the damn President who should have made sure the people he's working with have put enough things in place. What are the reported cases of ebola in the US? They doctors who have been under strict isolation since entering the US? The same doctors who are recovering? Please google to search for the reactions of Americans upon hearing about these doctors being taken to America. FYI, America knows exactly what they are doing by allowing those ebola patients in. I can bet you that even if we hear of another infected person there, they will quickly curb it. Not like here where even up till now, as I type this, there are no provisions whatsoever for ebola patients to be isolated. Do you know that Patrick Sawyer, the doctors and nurse who treated him were never isolated? Our borders are still wide open without proper checks. Even after alllllllllllllllll the warning all these months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at Ghana and Mali and Niger. They are much closer to ebola countries but see how much efforts they have put in fighting this scourge. Yet all you can do is celebrate a nonsense picture! Oh God! Don't just annoy me this afternoon or I will make you question your IQ level. |
Firefire: iheneme: I have learnt from this forum that GEJ has a CROWD of haters, but fortunately those who support him are MULTITUDE! I belong to the multitude. chinolization: GEJ till 2019 then after which Peter Obi takes over.. Nichobabe: My Presido, the Giant of Africa. I am liking this enuel: Its obvious that the International world recognizes and respects Nigerian Leaders. May God Bless Our Leaders, and Our Land. I get up-to-date informations via text from multitexter.com/signup . Be well informed before you conclude on the happenings. And all the rest of you. Please I am lost here. Like what exactly is so out-of-the-ordinary about a Nigerian present taking a photo with the US President and fist lady? Haven't you seen pictures of past Presidents and heads of state with American Presidents, Queen of England, etc? Ebola is threatening to teach us a good lesson on how to be more careful after this man's government carelessly allowed an obviously sick person and a corpse from a high risk country into the the country. In case you don't even know, 7 of the people who attended to the Liberian have the disease as I type this and one of the nurses is dead. Your brains should be able o figure out what that means and yet all what you guys can do is sing praises just because of mere pictures?? I am so so sorry for you! |
pickabeau1: comfortable people/?...hmmYes. What I mean is that one can somehow survive these other things if affected. But ebola? OYO l'o wa. |
Malakh: Ebola don reach Atlanta O ChaiApart from the two doctors, I don't think any other persons are infected. They know what they are doing. |
pickabeau1: what are you saying... the issue has been onYes. But the reality of it just hit me now. As ebola can infect anybody. Rich or poor. For those of us who go out everyday to work, business etc. This is very worrisome. We don't know who has touched who that will come and touch your papers, computer, etc. Jesus! As in this is not like increasing fuel price or general inflation because comfortable people can always find their way. This is not like hearing of bomb blasts in the north. This is live and direct, in your face! Jesus ooooooooo |
omenka: I think someone's hacked this poster's handle!!!I'm telling you! |
pickabeau1: Really humorous if not for the seriousness of the tragedyThis is sooooooooooooo painful! I don't know again honestly. I never really realized just how doomed we Nigerians were in the hands of our leaders until this very moment. |
Sincere9gerian: I think the report is not entirely correct. What is being reported on Channelstv is the death of one of the nurses that had primary contact with the Liberian.WooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW Sincere9Nigerian! So you can actually be as objective as this Ha! Ayam dreaming!Oh so because you now see your life is in danger due to the gross negligence and carelessness of the FG in particular, and that this is not about ordinary tribal/sentimental/political fights ba? Your eye don dey clear small small! I would have laughed my ass off right now but I'm too scared. ![]() |
Nope! English is NOT the cause of the extinction. How can it be when the average graduate can hardly construct simple sentences without throwing bombs? The real cause is the larger languages swallowing up the smaller ones. For instance, in the North and even middle belt everybody speaks Hausa. Ask them their own language and you will hear all sorts of strange names. Can they speak their own languages? Hardly! In the Niger-delta, apart from the Urhobos, the Ijaws, and Ishekiris, pidgin is the lingua franca. Even among Yorubas and Igbos, they still have their own versions. How many Ijebus can speak Ijebu gan gan? How many Igbos can speak their own Igbo versions? The only groups still keeping up with their languages are the Efiks, Ibibios, Oron, Eket, Annang, and a few other groups from Akwa-Ibom/Cross River. |
0rlando0woh: How did they handle it?Help me ask the deluded clown |
These our oloshi politicians are at it again. Ebola is threatening to deal with us mercilessly and yet all what these registered nonsensicals can think of doing is how to capture and re-capture states? Yet some mumugerians are still sentimentally cheering them them on! If they could just channel half of the passion they put into capturing states, I'm sure ebola would never have entered Nigeria. Look at Ghana, I hear they have fumigated the whole country. Ordinarily Ghana is meant to catch this disease faster than Nigeria because it is closer to Sierra Leone and Liberia. The passion with which they are using to fight this disease is heart warming. Gosh! Nigeria! |
tashanja: @OP:Lol I have always been an objective person. I am still as nice as ever. I'm just more immune to rubbish. If you yarn rubbish, I either give you a very polite insult that will make you avoid me for the rest of your NL life or simply ignore. I no get time for drama anymore. |
ceaser: Experimental drug likely saved Ebola patients Experimental Ebola drug ZMapp given to Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol Experimental drug had only been tested in monkeys Brantly was given the Ebola drug after his condition deteriorated Within an hour, source says his symptoms dramatically improved.I take God beg them to bring that drug to Nigeria. |
teeowl: Personally I feel a lot of women virgins are like a very poor man that is humble. Get it... he is humble because he has nothing to be proud about. In a similar manner with so many female virgins (not all of them), they are virgins simply because they are not sexually attractive and no man is excited about sleeping with them... in that case the whole virgin thing seems like a joke (she is a virgin simply because most men don't want to sleep with her and not because she rejected the s.ex.ua.l advances of so many men).I strongly disagree. I believe that no matter how unattractive a girl is, one guy somewhere is ready to sleep with her, make her a side chick, date her or even marry her. The marriage part might be a bit tough but I believe some guy somewhere must have hit on her. Virgins should remain virgins until they are ready to let it go. And I strongly recommend it should be with someone they can marry. |
Kc2swit: Can you even hear yourself? She didnt even do anything...really? Then why did she apologise? Why not mention what she did if its so insignificant to warrant the man's reaction? Do you even know that the bible approves outright divorce on certain grounds? Obviously a care-free single lady, anywaysAnd I doubt you are married. Else you would have known that trust, forgiveness, and love are the foundation of marriage. Why? Because once in a while your spouse will definitely do/say certain things to make you question why you married them. But forgiveness and love will keep you guys going. Gerrit? |
jocelyncherish: it is not a bad idea for a lady to live in comfort... or is it?Na real wa for you. |
Na wa o |
andromida: HehehhhehhhehheHe hit the nail on the head, brutally! |
jpphilips: @njoku's boy, I will like to speak with Njoku the father, guess he is only the sane mind who really understood the post Njoku's boy quoted, nevertheless, tell the boy that there are 1 million reasons why men marry and love is the least on the profile.Splendid! |

? Was the man sick when he came into this country or are the Americans blaming Obama for the reported cases in the US * Lord have mercy*? They only discovered his condition after he was taken to the hospital...smh
