The way you explained about a rich guy wanting to flex before getting married is same reasons young girls want to enjoy life because she has many options at that age. So at the early age of most females they dont care about consequences of last resort. They get to know as time goes by and start adjusting but by then it's too late for some and luck also shines on others. Though there are few exceptions that focus on education and careers. Just that they need to know how to balance it with marriage except they choose to remain single.
