Why did the father not think about her as well undecided before engaging in such acts(alleged) what is stopping him from sueing her to clear his name.

@OP na when we done meet Shindara na how many years she dey? lipsrsealed
Which year dem born am huh
Must he sue her?? Is the onus not on Busola to provide evidence? What exactly is wrong with all of you? Some says something and you swallow it hook line and sinker. Busola’s mum and sisters are very much alive. A single one of them has not come out to corroborate her claims that she was raped by the pastor. Raped three times for that matter!!!! Yet you all are castigating someone you don’t know. Don’t worry, when they start abusing busola’s children in school then she’ll learn some wisdom.

Kemi talking about forensic evidence from a rape case of about two decades ago sums up her insanity. She is trying to hard to discredit Busola. Why wouldn't she talk about Biodun's history as a cultist and a womanizer? Or the other rape allegation against him by other women??
There’s no other rape allegation against the pastor. He did not hide his past, but shared it with whoever was willing to hear. As for Busola, if we are to accept every allegation as gospel truth instead of asking for evidence, then we can say that Busola was a runs babe who ran around with pastors. Abi is that not what she was accused of befor she came up with her rape accusation?

Fatoyinbo has been distributing cash around for image laundering but he could only get annonymous small fries
on social media to help him discredit Busola.
No prominent media person was ready to root for him except the broken record and maniac called Kemi.

One sad part of this story is that some bloggers are referring to her as a journalist
when she has never worked as one.
She was a notorious criminal in the US engaging in blackmail and receiving stolen money
on behalf of fraudsters which led to her deportation.

To Kemi, Fatoyinbo is a lifesaver as she has been living hand to mouth since blackmailing people have
become a dangerous job after her Porthacourt prison stint.

Expect more asinine posts from her.
Did you see him giving anyone any cash? You’ll anything to pull down someone you don’t know.

Very true. He needs to work on his self control, but I know how silly some shop attendants can behave. The owners of any sex shop should really screen any potential employee. Their patrons may feel hypersensitive about going to a sex shop. Someone with low libido who goes to One for any sex enhancement will be totally livid if he is laughed at by anyone. The senator should ignore the outrage by Nigerians and tell his story.

Mrs. wife of the president, when exactly are you going to show wisdom instead of trying so hard to be on the good side of public opinion? That’s how you went on radio to disparage your husband. A very rash move on your part that made your husband the butt of everyone’s jokes. Now, you’re wading in on an issue that is non of your business. Yes! Absolutely non of your business. You’re not the police. Let them do their job. As the wife of the president, you should know that your words are weighty. They can influence even the police. By the way, all the 4 year old boys and girls that are being raped by their imams, have you waded into their issues? They are very young and probably very poor. They, I believe, need your immediate attention and intervention. I know you’re not on Nairaland, but maybe your PA is and will show this to you. Contrary to popular opinion, I have a lot of respect for your husband. His word are few. Emulate him in this please.

I have tried to educate people like you in the past, about the trauma suffered by rape victims. Such victims may not remember exact dates of their encounter, but will recall the pain and trauma they felt, in clear detail.

The date may not be as important to them, as the encounter. Unless of course, there was something significant that was previously associated with that date, in particular (e.g. a birthday or something else). The human mind works in quite complex ways. And in some cases, certain bits of information are blocked out, as part of a coping mechanism in the victim's mind.
Wow! I love the way you guys are so dogmatic in your support of Busola’s claims. She can’t remember the year she was raped, but she can remember the details!!!!! If this was not about a trajic issue, I would have laughed out loud. It is usually the other way round. Trauma can make one block out hurtful details like a rape not the year. To forget the year one was raped would mean selective amnesia that forgets the year and details of the year.

Absolutely true. The prositutes come back to Nigeria trying to launder their image. They don’t do this quietly though because they seem to crave attention. They act like they’ve always had money and try to oppress the hardworking ladies they meet here in Nigeria. Some of them come with lesbiansm and they look for innocent or greedy girls to partner with. I know of one who sleeps with her maid. Now, she can’t sack her.

Aunty Kemi, thank you for sharing some of the glaring inconsistencies in Busola’s story. The rubbish so called reporters that brought her story to the public without verifying the facts should hide their faces in shame. They are not journalists. People are killing them selves arguing Busola’s case, Timi Dakolo is playing the avenging husband, all without verifying her story. Meanwhile, the Timi guy did not know Busola then. Not a single member of her family who knew Of Busola’s association with the pastor has come out to verify her story. Busola, if you’re on Nairaland, don’t let anyone push beyond this stage. Just backpedal. There are better ways to handle issues. Let me go before followers of trends try and come for my head.

I don't know, neither did she tell us. She should have given us the exact dates of when these events took place so we can reason along with her. Do you how long some of the drinks we consume here in Nigeria were produced before consumption? How many of us even check for expiry dates talk less of production date
Actually, Busola should have given us the exact date when she was raped. I don’t think it is possible to forget the date of something so monumental in one’s life. If she has psychological problems as a result of the rape, then she’d have forgotten the details she gave us. It is not possible to block out the day the raped occurred but still remember the actual rape.

When Charlie Hebdo was attacked with about 12 people killed, others injured on the first day alone with numerous other attacks, murders and hostage situations on subsequent days, was it not because Mohammed was depicted in a humorous way in a cartoon? A cartoon of Mohammed laughing with the caption “a hundred lashes if you don’t die of laughter ‘ or something like that caused so much death and destruction. the whole world was against the Islamist group not because they cared about the cartoon but because of the horrific way the extremists showed their displeasure. People should learn to respect what others hold in high esteem instead of desecrating what they don’t understand or agree with. Having lice on the head does not necessarily mean poor hygiene. I don’t think you ever attended boarding school. If you did, you’d know that sitting on a chair or lying down on the bed of someone that has lice is an way to get infested. If one person gets it in a dormitory, it is easy for everyone there to get it. shelltox used to be a way people got rid of lice before the onset of lice shampoo in Nigeria. I like to believe she was aware of the implications of speaking up before doing so. It probably explains why she delayed reporting the matter for so long. However, victim stigmatization should not serve as an excuse to not expose rapists.

Her story probably doesn't add up. But by the reactions of the church, the church members as well as the mentors of the alleged rapist and the alleged rapist himself, suggests that he's likely guilty. A rape survivor owes no one a convincing story.

I, for one, really admire her courage. Dragging a pastor in Nigeria is not a joke.
In my opinion, Victim stigmatization can be handled by adults. Children? No way. She came out only when someone accused her of running round with pastors on social media. She is said to have told her parents and sister after her sister had a nightmare about it. None of them have come out to give credence to her accusations. The mentors, other church pastors, members of the church were not there when it happened. So I can’t judge based on their words or actions. Pastors are being accused of any and everything these days. They are an easy target for blackmail, discredit.... because they are expected to have really high morals. If Biodun Fatoyinbo was not a pastor, will the case have garnered so much attention? And it is not because busola’s husband is Timi. Remember the case of the Taxify driver and the actress? People were supporting the driver and asking the actress for evidence. Why is this case so different? Evidence is what is required here. She can get people to corroborate her story. Afterall, her sister was home when the rape took place. If the pastor is guilty, he should be found so by a competent court of law and not public opinion.

So, do you think the pastor is innocent of the claims?
Thank you for the kind words. As for the pastors case, I really don’t know if he is guilty. I know there are aspects of Busola’s story that dont add up. But I don’t know if he raped her not. However, I feel taking the case to the court of YouTube is not wise. We have too many people with so much time on their hands who are ready to judge a case without having all the facts. Busola did not provide any evidence. Her tears are not evidence. In my own case, some of the ladies who were spreading false rumors cried like their hearts would break. Meanwhile they did not even know me. This rape case should have been taken to court or to bodies that govern churches in Nigeria. Both parties are married and have kids. Imagine Their kids being called names because of this case. Child of a rapist! Your mother was raped! Kids can be cruel and they listen to everything being said at home. Going to court would have protected Busola’s identity. Going to a governmening body would have protected both identities.

Your case was a one-off thing. Now if several people keep coming out on the same accusation against you. I'm sure even you would pause and ask what you were doing wrong.

We both know how pastors are viewed in Nigeria. As demigods. A rape allegation is one too many. Now, when there are a lot against one man then something is amiss.

Thank you for your honest admission that Christianity is a choice.
But you don’t know the details of my case. It went on for several years. I was being accused by a horrible person who was bent on discrediting me. Actually totally destroying me. In her desperation she got her friends to spread vile rumors about me. Even when she was told I was not the person she knew, she claimed I was pretending: impersonating someone of good repute. She brought home to me that wickedness resides in some people. She’s never apologized or tried to clear the air. So, while rape is a horror that can destroy the victims life, false accusation is also a horror that can destroy its victim. I simply chose not to be a victim.

You obviously misunderstood my post but because of your civility I will respond to you.

Rape allegations in the church is an insult to a religious belief that claims it is the most reliable basis of morality. You might want to know that other victims in various churches have come out also. This exposes the level of rot in the church system.

I DO NOT hate Christ. I simply no longer believe in him. Rather, I hate people hiding behind an unproven entity to dictate and even worse, tarnish other people's lives. Apparently the church of COZA are behind Fatoyinbo. The extent they have gone to defame and lie against the victim proves this.

So, Busola still attends COZA? Prove it.

In a rape allegation, the victim is given the benefit of a doubt. Moreso, in an unapologetic patriarchal society like the Nigerian, a female victim is given the benefit of a doubt.

This rape issue has exposed a lot of other atrocities committed in the so-called body of Christ. Busola's case is just a template and a drop in the ocean.
I did not say Busola still attends COZA. I said she still attends church. In any case, the accused or defendant is seen as innocent until proven guilty. It is not guilty until proven innocent. I Hope for your sake you’re never in a position where a false accusation is brought against you. I have been accused falsely by people I did not know. They later claimed it was mistaken identity after several years. I don’t know if Busola’s claims are true or false especially with all the loopholes in it. But I’ve learned to tread carefully when it comes to accepting accusations I am not privy to.
As for Christ, Christians are called to be Christ like and not like other Christians. But like everything else, Christianity is a choice.

Christianity Etc › Re: How Virginity Can Qualify You For Special Favours by sweetrace(f): 10:20am On Jul 07, 2019
Op, this is not biblical teaching. Virginity does not qualify anyone for God’s favor. If anything we do can qualify us for the favor of Christ, then the birth, crusifixion, death and resurrection of Christ is needless. In this era, we are favored simply because of the relationship we have with God as his adopted sons through Christ. Growing up, I was taught that favor is undeserved mercy or kindness. The dictionary says favor is something done or granted out of goodwill, rather than from justice or for remuneration; a kind act.

Being a virgin does not mean you’d marry the best man or be the riches person on earth. In fact, being openly virtuous comes with its own share of wahala! Women will probably gang up and lie against a virgin just to discredit her. Men will lie that they’ve dated her. She’d be made to feel like an outcast because she’s chosen to live differently. She’ll be ostracized because she does not belong. Her mindset is different. Her lifestyle is different.

Ester was not the only virgin oresented to king. All the ladies oresented were virgins. She was chosen because she stood out of the crowd. While all the others dressed ostentatiously, she was dressed simply. She was wise as she listened to those who had more knowledge than her.

Mary was not the only virgin in the land. That’s why she is called highly favored. God chose to honor her amongst other virgins. God called David a man after his own heart. Yet David slept with a married woman.

Being a virgin has to do with self respect, one’s own dignity, and acknowledgement of our bodies being the temples of God and we should treat it as such. Not a means to get favor from God. We are not Christians because of the good we do. We do good because we are Christians. We are Christians because of our relationship with God the Father through the finished work of Christ. Anyways, blessings, favor.... are a byproduct of this relationship and not the focus.

when a family fights nobody wins. Nigerians are still practicing this outdated and destructive thing called tribalism and in the entire country suffers. We have Chinese people coming to Africa buying land where ever and whenever they want and making money off of it while still being racist to the Natives of the land. Immediately somebody who is from the same country as you are from moves into your region you have people spewing such vitriol and hatred. It's so sad and that is why Nigeria will stay in the poor shape that its in. It's colonialism all over again.
You’re on point about Asians buying houses in Nigeria. They actually try to buy in the choicest parts too. I know an Indian family that own at least 3 houses in Victoria Island. Tribalism is rife in Nigeria, however, we have different tribes settling in parts of Nigeria that isn’t their state of origin. Ibos live in all parts of Nigeria. So do Hausas. This is not what RUGA is. RUGA is about giving a group of people in Nigeria preferential treatment. Giving people’s land to them for free. This said group have proven they are violent and human lives mean nothing to them. Did you read about what they did to the indigenes of Benue State? I am neither ibo nor Hausa, but I know RUGA can’t work in any country for the sake of peace. Even though the Fulani heardsmen are nomads, they probably still have a base somewhere in the north. Let them stay there and build their ranches. As for the lack of water, that’s why irrigation exists.
