Fourwinds: you are very funny... BTW God can use anybody that is what you must know... when Europe was on Fire during World War II... it was The Human and Natural resources of America that save the day..
And so it must continue to be the human and natural resources of America that must save the day. I know that God can use anyone and that’s why I said He can raise someone in Nigeria to stop all the schemes set to work against the progress of Nigeria.
Is Lagos no longer working? With all the heavy and aggressive taxation in Lagos, the Lekki and Ikoyi toll gates... Lagos State can be in debt? I don’t believe this news at all.
lexy2014: If u are confident of what u said, y do u now feel offended that it was d only part of ur comment that I read? If I didn't distort or misinterpret what u said, I clearly don't c what ur grouse is about. If u believe what u wrote, then u should b ready 2 defend it. Clearly, u don't. U can prove me wrong by telling me any country that made progress by praying 4 its leaders. Its that simple.
Based on what u have said about berating and not berating, do u no d relationship u have with ur elected representatives?
I’ve tried to have a rational conversation with you, but it is obviously not possible so ......
Zoharariel: Didinrin - Am I a Christian? I am merely trying to liberate you dummies from the mental slavery of region and especially pointing out to you that these charlatans you call your Pastors & G.Os are only taking advantage of you.
Now, I'm glad you can now see why the Bible and your religion should be discarded & trashed.
You’re not a Christian? Then what amount of olofofo is bringing you into our family talk? As Christians, we are a family. We sort out our own. Not every member of a family meets expectations, but we don’t throw out our own. And we know what the real expectations are not your perception. We know the principles that guide us. We understand our bible that contains this principle. Please go and focus on your own family members and advice them because you can only advice on what you know.
Zoharariel: Well, since your Pastors & G.Os like "Reno Omo kiri-kiri" have failed to interpret the content of your Bible to you robotic sheeples, I'll do the reading & interpretation for you free of charge.
1 Peter 3:3 & 4 - Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear”
And you wear clothes? Goodness me, based on your interpretation you should walk around in your birthday suit.
Nelly21: Every time Tboss will be calling Ceec. The girl has been on her lane since oo, making her own money and doing her own thing but people like Tboss will want to use her name to trend.
Just because she didn't call you on your birthday, must she be friends with you? Ceec has never been a famzer, get that into your head. Jealous Tboss
Ccee’s name came up because Tboss was responding to the questions she was asked.
lexy2014: Can u pls name one country in d world that made progress because they were praying 4 their corrupt leaders? As a Nigerian, do u no d relationship u have with ur elected representatives?
Praying for leaders is the only part you read, right? You did not see where I wrote that leaders should be criticized, but constructively. Who would you take seriously? A person who constantly berates you and every single effort you make or a person who’ll tell you what you’re doing right, what you’re doing wrong and how to improve on that without attacking your person verbally?
Mayflowa: Respecting constituted authority doesn’t mean you cannot criticize their actions especially when he is occupying office the people elected him for.
This is different from King that is God ordained. Even God usually remove such Kings when they over abuse their power. Kumuyi must distance our new times from old bible times. ThT was why it took him years to accept TV use and allow bride to look old on Thor wedding days
The word of God transcends time. The President is the number one citizen of any country just like the biblical kings were. Plus the Bible enjoins us to pray for our leaders. Is the president not Nigerians number one leader? Plus, While it is okay to criticize constituted authority, said criticism should be constructive. What we have in Nigeria is people drowning the authority with insults without wanting to see any good in any action of theirs Such that the authority gets to the point that they are not interested in listening to a people who seem incapable of offering anything other than insults.
Mcreloaded: For those that don't have access to social media what do they normally do if they are short changed or duped?
That's why we have the police and courts to mediate in such issues ,unless you are supporting those that come on social media to air their differences when short changed.
Am not saying she was not short changed all am saying is that there are laid down procedure of handling issues without going physical or bullying some one because you have the money or power to fight.
You’re right about not airing one’s differences on SM, but maybe Toke felt SM, was less severe than making it a police case. Plus, going to the police in Nigeria is often a joke. Who wants to waste moey on that? She tried to contact that lady in different ways. I would be really mad if someone I’ve paid money to do a job for me has the ill manners and gall to block me. Nigerians have really poor work ethics. They see something in other countries or on tv or SM, and decide to cash in on it without having the commitment and high standards to make it work. Plus their egos won’t let them accept their errors and rectify it. Enough of the epistle o! But while I’m not a fan of SM, I can relate to this totally!
ericsmith: Toke should av put these matter before God... there is nothing prayer cannot do.
Well she exercised her rights not to. Christianity itself is a choice. Anyway, in the Bible, don’t we have people meeting up to solve their differences?
Mcreloaded: When you buy something and it is faulty or damaged , you don't go to social media to complain. Please carry your mumu self out of here and go look for something more serious to trend with
But she tried to contact the artisan who blocked her. She contacted the artisans husband all to no avail. Exactly what was Toke to do?
BeijinDossier: Everywhere is looted and messed up. Okorocha should be arrested
And you imagine Okorocha would loot air conditioners, and gens right? If the looting was actually done, then it was by the ever hungry government workers and not Okorocha. Stop trying to demean him.
NPComplete: Look at this môron calling his uncle an illiterate. Are the people in the video not fellow idiots like u? So because u don't agree with this stupid claim they make but agree with all other stupid claims, we should set u apart as some sort of paragon of Christianity and not just another mindless adherent of a religion filled with nincompoops? Lol.
Christian morons making fun of other Christian morons lol.
Fuckery upon fuckery, saith the preacher; all is fuckery.
Her claim is not in the Bible so it is her opinion. Even my grandma knows that the best source of vitamin c is fruits. And you insult all Christians because of one woman’s misguided beliefs. You don’t have to believe in God to respect other people you know. When I’m walking by Muslims praying, I give them space so I don’t treat their praying ground as unholy.
All these insults from Nairalanders who were not there in the first place. You believed the girls just like that. Maybe they asked Chidinma in a very rude way. Maybe it just was not convenient for her. Maybe she just did not want to. This young girls brought something so insignificant to SM! do they feel so entitled or did someone put them up to this to tarnish Chidinma’s image? Anyway, Chidinma if you ever get to read this, know that some of us are praying for you. You’ll increase in all good things and enjoy good and lasting success IJN.
linked: Madam! stop feeling fly. Be humble and learn. Humility is a very important quality. Try to cultivate it and you'll go far in life. If I go see a friend for the very first time and then I sees his/her mum within my view trying to carry something reasonably heavy, I will simply make a request to help out. If I was even visiting my male friend for the very first time and his mum starts sweeping I wouldn't raise my legs let her sweep past me. I will definitely make a request to help out. If she says "don't worry" then she can continue. Besides I wouldn't even be comfortable raising my legs and someone older or my superior sweep pass under as this lady did. I will simply stand or change my seat at the interim while the sweeping continues. It is called good manners. Learn o!
I was having a conversation with a rational human being. What brought you here? On and offline, I keep a long distance from antagonistic people like you who are looking for who to pour their personal aggro on. Please go away and don’t come back no more.
Limitless72: Lol...CHAUVINIST? But it's scientifically proven. Women mostly reason with cognition without the use of conscious rational processes... INTUITION
And how did they reach this conclusion? The pool of women was made up of women from what educational and socioeconomic background?
Limitless72: Lolz....All of you coming at me now bah Oya I've heard you. You're right to an extent though ,,in fact you have a valid point, a very valid one.
You know men reason with logic and women with intuition. Intuition is sometimes right. Let's say my logic didn't agree with your intuition. I didn't reason a potential guest visiting for the first time is not expected to do anything, infact not do anything at all. and If I was the guy, I would honestly had asked my mom what she had up her sleeve when she swept whilst a guest was present..
She is a guest, visiting for the first time. She's not obligated to anything and shouldn't be compelled to.. if she wanted to its up to her, not me ..
Now you're satisfied bah.. Let's not argue again. When you're faced with such scenerio do whatever you FEEL/THINK is right... You're a diva
I like that you’re big enough to admit when you’re wrong. I like and agree with almost everything you wrote. The but? I don’t agree that ladies are not logical. Who ever came up with that is a chauvinist!
ericsmith: yeah! go on insult me! tell d world how you carried 1st from form1 to form6 & graduated with 1st class from university in ur wildest dream buh know one tin only an oxy or a slowpoke won't know sweet & trace don't rhyme ...no equality no justice, justice is fairness...be fair
It is sweet and race. But like I discovered, you can’t read, plus you’re quite juvenile.
Limitless72: Firstly the brain doesn't run on fuel. Next time consider a more suitable metaphor... ND your whole ranting is only centered on anger and frustration, there no reasonable basis, no substantial rationale to displace the mother's action as WRONG..
ND how would you have behaved if it were you? would you had kicked the broom off the mother's grasp, or shouted at her, or verbally abused her.? what you had done madam vexation??
Anyways everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Rants? smh! Who sweeps a room when a guest is in it? What happened to her son, could he not have told her to stop or sweep the room in her stead if that’s their culture? As for what I’d have done, keep on with the imagination. When your girlfriend comes visiting for the first time, tell her to pound yam for your entire family. Your biz.
DeeMain: Your first points were good, speaking from a biblical point of view. The rest are a complete hogwash.
A pastor is a shepherd with sheep's or flocks coming to him for guidance, direction, protection and healing. A sheep means helpless, hopeless, powerless, broken, wounded, damaged. If a shepherd feasts on his wounded or broken sheep then he is of all men most despicable.
It doesn't even matter whether the sheep seduced the shepherd or gave him or her green light because the sheep is broken. The pastor has used a position of power, authority and trust to take advantage of a wounded sister or brethren and driven them into a deeper darkness and pain than the one they are coming from . And that's abominable.
The church must find a way to renounce and rid our churches of such men instead of playing the ostrich like the Catholic church did to children who were victims of sexual abuse for many years.
And no, this is not me saying that what Timi wrote is true or not but clearing you of a misconception.
There’s no where I wrote the pastor was right to do what he did. However, Timi wrote about the pastor leaving behind broken hearted women everywhere. My point is that the women all knew he was married before they slept with him. Why are they broken hearted? Did they expect him to leave his wife for them?
IamLEGEND1: I think you're missing the point here. Paul's (or anyone's) education might not be relevant when it comes to his relationship with God, but it definitely matters when it comes to his missionary work & establishing doctrines. At least then people will rest, assured that he isn't just pulling random ideas out his_ass.
The same goes for today's religious leaders. It's stupid to have a Pastor who hasn't been properly indoctrinated (maybe not at all) stand on a pulpit and be expected to be taken as an authority in matters concerning his religion. It's a quintessential case of the blind leading the blind which, needless to say, has been the catalyst for the woes of today's church.
agbekeOreke86 responded to my question to you with the following. I found it so apt I decided to quote her here. “naaaaaa....at all!!!! we dnt!!!when God is really ready to arrest u like he did Paul,HE definately will....'HIS ways are not our ways,we look at the outwards,my GOD looks at the inwards..'besides,all the acclaimed wisdom and education of humans is foolishness in the sight of God....!!!!!” Sometimes, in missionary work, one’s education may prove to be a hindrance. God knows this and gives the right leader or pastor to a group.
IamLEGEND1: Well before his missionary work began, Paul was an extremely brilliant, highly educated, & talented writer & orator with a deep understanding of the Torah and Jewish customs. That's the least you'd expect from someone who was trained under Gamaliel ; probably the most important Rabbi of his time. So, in terms of education, Paul was head and shoulders above every apostle of his time.
Do we need an education to have a relationship with God?
ericsmith: slowpoke !! nairawhatever lacks the capacity to be an example even if efcc jail him, the really fraudsters breaking world records are out there, if politicians cannt be used as a deterrence then we are fooling ourselves
If you can’t be civil, please get out of my mentions!!!!!
