He is there to serve and his attitude is part of the service. Some Uber drivers are so polite you’d want them to come pick you up even when they are offline. Others have this attitude of don’t look down on me because I’m a driver even before you open your mouth. And if you’re female and young, it is sometimes worse. She does not even need to have a conversation with him. He has her destination before coming to pick her up. So what was all that she must make it worth his while? Anyway, we pray for wisdom in relating with others. Enjoy your day.

It does not matter. When he became governor, he started by trying to weed out ghost workers which was a laudable exercise. But he has over done it because even pensioners are screened every month. They can’t send a representative, so the elderly or sick are carried to the venue causing pain and inconveniences.
As per the salary, he paid two months salary in full, then he took a cue from his predecessors and started playing truancy with the people’s salary or paying 20%. We expected better from Bello because he seemed younger, more educated and more enlightened than his predecessors. Only to find out that he is just a stooge. For someone who governance just fell into his life without putting in the effort, we thought he would treat his position with the gravity, dignity, passion and diligence that it deserves. His predecessors were horrible, but he is no better.

Imagine paying human beings 20% of their salaries. Someone earning as low as 18,000 should survive on 3,600. He started of with such promise. That lasted for just 2 months. Kogi State is the most backward state in Nigeria as a whole. We need someone who is passionate and sincere about bringing positive change to Kogi State. Bello is not that man.
