All the current crop of politicians do not have the mental capacity to deliver Nigeria. From Atiku to Peter Obi to Kwakwanso to Tinubu.

No politician or Leaders dead or alive have the mental capacity to solve Nigeria’s problems. If you wake up George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan etc they cannot fix Nigeria. A country can only be fixed or saved by a good leader if the citizens of that nation are a willing participant. A nation where the citizens see and know the right thing to do but yet are fixated on doing that which is wrong.

Life teaches us all one lesson or the other. Life has put you in a position to be a great testimony and example for others if you handle your situation properly. Forget all the negativity or problems you have experienced or encountered and focus on the bigger picture; success. I sense that you have the willing power and you should continue to acquire more knowledge. Focus more on training and certifications. I don’t know what environment you’re in but I have found out that learning trades like Plumbing, Electricians, HVAC etc. are very valuable. There are many more ways to earn honest living without a 4 year degree. Good luck!

When you say college dorm, to me it means an on-campus house where undergraduates usually live and it involves bed that are in the form of bunks. Is that what you’re talking about?

Or rather, you’re talking about off campus apartment which is situated outside the campus where people rent?

If you don’t know anything about a subject. You should keep your mouth shut! Most universities buys neighboring apartment complexes and use them for student housing and some neighboring non-university owned apartment complexes are exclusively for student housing. Get your facts straight!

Nonsense! Most college dorms are 2-bedroom apartments or 4-bedrooms apartments. I went to University of Texas in Austin and I stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment. Myself and my apartment mate shared the common area and the kitchen. $800 is very reasonable for a college apartment with a roommate. You evidently don’t know what you’re talking about.

In ATL for example, house rent in the city area for that 2 bed are usually within $1500-2500 per month. On top of that, you pay Light bill, gas bill, and the apartment monthly charges on sewage and common area if you live in an Apt complex. That could be additional $250 on it.

If it’s now mortgage, no way in hell will you get that monthly payment.

On average, in a city, you’ll pay nothing less than $18k yearly and that’s even being conservative. It could go up to $28k in total for most cities.

However, to go out to a restaurant for 2 people, you spend nothing less than $80-100 in one sitting especially for Nigerian food restaurants. To the lounge, you spend nothing less than $100-$150 if you factor hookah and drinks for 2 people.

Except if you be get inside person will you even spend that monthly. Coz me I count jollification with food price.

It seems like the lady is analyzing a budget for a college dormitory student or an individual with a room mate.
Her numbers are quite low for an independent working class or a family. I pay $3500/month for my mortgage, $200/month - phone bill (3 family lines)
$250/month for 2-vehicles insurance
$180 for cable & internet.
$1500/month -car payment (2 cars) Range Rover & Lexus RX350.
$150/month - water bill.
$300/month - electricity.
$1000 - $1500/month - groceries (family of 5).
$1000 - miscellaneous (I.e Nigerian families, car repairs, house fixes, lawn/yard care etc.)
