The CBN has to increase interest rates to a level it can start slaying inflation. If done, the Naira would become stronger. I won't be surprised if it hits about 800.

However, it's as though Tinubu is worried that any steep rate rise lest it tilts the economy into a recession. This is inescapable.

With a stronger Naira and lower inflation, the positive effect would outweigh the any recession or downturn it brings.

Cheaper prices are like a God send.

The CBN needs to open up to how much is in the foreign reserves. The government has kept mum about it. If the rumor that it has fallen to $4bn is true, the country might have no choice but to approach the IMF

I threatened her that if she refused to show up that I won't take responsibility for the pregnancy, she blatantly told me she will keep the pregnancy and take care of it by herself.

I began to worry if this is a baby factory things or she just used me to get pregnant and run or what is her mission?

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has accused Israel of “genocide” against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Maduro made his comment in a televised address on Monday.

“The Secretary-General of the United Nations issued a statement, which we read carefully, as a warning and alert about the genocide that has begun against the Palestinian people in Gaza,” said the Venezuelan leader. “We have witnessed in the past massacres and brutal atrocities against the Palestinian people.” The current situation, he pointed out, is a “new apartheid system” against Palestinians.

“We demand an immediate ceasefire, respect for UN resolutions, respect for the rights of peoples, and the commencement of peace negotiations to allow the Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights to independence, land and peace.”

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said earlier in the statement referred to by Maduro that, “While I recognise Israel’s legitimate security concerns, I also remind Israel that military operations must be conducted in strict accordance with international humanitarian law.” He added that he is “deeply distressed” by the announcement that Israel will initiate a complete siege of the Gaza Strip, with nothing allowed in: “No electricity, food or fuel.”

That announcement was made by Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant. He also described Palestinians as “human animals”, in a blatant effort to dehumanise the people of occupied Palestine living under Israel’s military occupation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday evening that the death toll from Israel’s bombardment had risen to 704, including 140 children and 105 women. Almost 4,000 people have been wounded. Israeli media reported that the number of Israeli deaths had reached 900, with 2,616 wounded.

When I was born in Nigeria, I met the economy at a certain stage, and what I observed is that when the economy rises, it never drops. I've heard stories from the past about how the economy was. Going back to the 1960s and 1970s, the standard of living was very low, to the extent that a double salary was paid during the Gowon regime.


Those who have traveled out of Nigeria to countries that have a better economy than Nigeria How does it feel, and how did it impact your life?

Most of the people having high hopes on this certificate forgery case were either not born, too young or not living in Lagos circa early 2000s when he was first accused of certificate forgery. For anyone who will quote me concerning religion, Christians make up just about 2% of the religion in Israel. Muslims are far more in number as compared to Christian.

There should have been dialogue and peace talk. Now the innocent ones are suffering.

David Hundeyin is a superficial investigator.

He always investigates things half way and let hare-brained people draw foolish conclusions.

For example, he started an investigation that Tinubu did not attend Chigaco State University (CSU). He then said he attended, but it was female. He now said FBI has 70,000 pages of indicting materials on Tinubu.

How come only Hundeyin knows these things?

How come no one else corroborated his conspiracy?

He said Tinubu was a drug lord. Why didn't he carry out an interview with the so-called FBI investigator who investigated Tinubu?

In his Arise News interview with Abati just before the elections, he was questioned that there was a letter from the state department saying Tinubu was never convicted. Hundeyin said it was because the IG did not ask the right questions. That "there must have been some sort of an indictment".

If Hundeyin is the basis of what some of you use to argue, your intelligence has been assaulted. You prove you cannot think for yourself.

Let's go back to the Guinea citizenship matter. As an investigator, why did Hundeyin not tell us when the citizenship was acquired? If many of you accept that Tinubu forged a certificate even when the school has not confirmed same, why do you believe he could not have forged a Guinean passport?

Same Hundeyin boasted he stopped a war!

What is the meaning of CSU investigating how Tinubu did not have a student card? Is this the next exciting thing we should follow?

While you are sheepishly following Hundeyin, remember he supported Peter Obi and his views are already not objective.
