laudate:GBABE!!! He's an ardent student of DEDEISM school of thought though at times i believe, it's a genetic trait. |
CSTR13:But your brother who has been living in the north since 1971, barely a year after the civil war which saw the devastation the northerners heaped on his fellow ibos is not a zombie? He has lived all through the religious riots in the same north wherein ibos are the main casualities and yet he did not see fit to remember his homeland. It's only now that the chicken has coome home to roast that he realises that one nigeria is a sham. In actual fact, your brother up there is the most annoying of all "fake nigerians". |
ImperialYoruba:GBABE!!! Op, up there in bold is the average opinion of a true "shoin of the shoil" Tinubu's woes is of his own making and he certainly doesn't speak for all yorubas, myself included. I have never been a fan of his as i have always and still perceive him as our "were (madman) in the backyard", anyway and as such i wouldn't want you and your ilk to exploit Tinubu's problem to denigrate the whole yoruba race. At any rate, majority of yorubas do not want any form of alliance with you impish and slippery folks, either. Lobatan!!! |
Charlesdock:Exactly! In fact, most of us pray they get their biafra and leave us alone but would they? Hell no! The other day we had Soludo pondering what will become of all their imaginary businesses/properties (outside their region) when they do get their "Land of the rising sun"? Immediately, they all jumped on the thread chorusing that Ecowas would force us to allow them free movement in our region. After all the bile and curses they have heaped on us. Their jailed "Dilector" even proposed butchering us in revenge for what happened to them in the last war. I laughed sotay, i nearly broke a rib. Ecowas ko, Ecomog ni!!! |

96xtr09r:Haba mr. copy and paste, why are you so pained? You wrote that you and your kindred folks are going to crush us (in the near future) and i only responded that we are grateful for the advanced warning and also that we are waiting and standing "gidigba". Bring it on. So bring it on or JSTFU. |
Cjrane2:Abi o jare!!! ![]() His response (if he actually does received their inconsequential message) will probably be "and wtf are these people"? |
96xtr09r:No shaking!!! Your ikemba promised us worse but we are still here and waxing strong much to your utter dismay, so please bring it on. This time around, none of you lot will be allowed to remain on our turf. |
kropotkin2:And why not? It's obvious (even to the deaf and blind) that these folks have deep-rooted revulsion for us and we are not fond of them either. So, the logical thing is to grant them their biafra. I sincerely hope they actualised their much trumpeted "land of the rising sun" soon and leave the rest of us in peace. Sadly though, they will still need and want to live in our region. At any rate, we are now well aware of their feelings for us and once they get their biafra, we shall be treating the rest of them that chose to stay in our land with great suspicion. |
orimsamsam:Touche!!!! Unfortunately, when they do get their biafra they still hope to co-habit with us in our region. |
Ioannes:Ha ha ha ........." anybody ke"? Are you for real? Sorry but no takers. we are quite contented perusing from the sidelines. We've all being there, done that, conjure up a t-shirt and even a video in a bid to eluciadate as much as we could (on the matter) but in the end (like you) came to a sad realisation that one is just wasting his time discoursing with such a profoundly conditioned soul. Trust me, he will not smell sh...iii...t even if it's placed right under his nostrils. Anyway sha, you tried and if it's any consolation, i salute your effort and patience. |
Much ado about nada!!! Come to think of it, I don't recollect Buhari soliciting for their (inconsequential) support, in the first instance. Eni a ba ta, ka fi owo re ra atupa si eyinkule....................... Pesin wey man fo sell, take the money buy lantern put for garden................... Bloody comedians!!! |
In a statement issued by Barrister Emma Nmezu and Dr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya, spokespersons of the IPOB, they maintained that both the South-South and the Middle Belt were still part of the Biafra territory and would not be allowed to remain as slaves in Nigeria. Some folks just seems incapable of learning from their past misadventure. Oh well, g/luck, second time around. |
DIKEnaWAR:I concur entirely with the bolded portion , above however the great(?) Zik of kowtowing to the northerners thereby making him (zik) the Grand patron of Southern Nigeria mumus/ode or whatever appellation one chose to add to his name. This is the kind of noise one expects to hear when the HUNTER morph into the HUNTED. |
Neoguru3:@ bolded........but he loves your women. From your present first lady who he shagggggged silly as a budding young cheerful giver (animashaun) before discarding her like a used tampon for your ikemba to feast on, to the current yellow pawpaw-cum-baby mother, he's now playing happy family life with. FFK is the quintessential ibo lover!!! ![]() |
PentiumProf:And did you peruse the source i provided? I guess not. The fact of the matter is, you lied when you claimed........... "The action group members were attacked by the Kano mob. The igbo traders that tried protecting the action group leaders were killed " . Akintola and his team didn't even appear in Kano so how were the ibos defending the former when the northerners descended on the latter in the Sabon gari, they were confined to, slaughtering them at will? |
PentiumProf: Here, Mallam Inua Wada, a former Federal Minister and an honourable man, recalls: “It was the booing and jeering experienced by the Northern members of parliament at the hands of Lagos crowds in Lagos”. So, on Saturday, 16th May 1953, despite the fact that Chief Akintola team’s did not even turn up, red-eyed organised mobs and hoodlums went into action and killed innocent citizens from the South, especially those from the Eastern part of the country. One glaring point to note here says the Justice Onyiuke’s report, is, the use of government machinery to perpetuate and escalate the dastardly act. The Native Authority agents, who were supposed to protect the people, became agents of death.1945 jos riot nko? Were the ibos also protecting Akintola, ni when the hausa/fulani mob set upon them with gusto? |
caracas:Sorry to say, but you do sound like a kid with above quote, in bold. The feat achieved by the Western Region in terms of the UPE led the Eastern Region to embark upon its own 8 years free education scheme. Thus, in February 1957, the universal primary education scheme was launched in the Eastern Region using the fire-brigade approach. The government started the programme without adequate planning; thus, the needed finances for thorough execution were grossly inadequate. Summarily put by Oni (2008), almost everything, except the pupils, was absent. Unfortunately, due to pressure and lack of time for proper preparation, the schools were staffed by untrained teachers, therefore of low quality. The programme failed in just 1 year of its implementation (Oni, 2008).Source======http://www.medwelljournals.com/fulltext/?doi=sscience.2009.636.643 |
Progressive01:Abeg, help me ask the fake pastor if the ibos have fixed the myriad problems bedeviling their region? Pesin wey neva chop since last night dey brag say, he wan tak hin neighbor (and his extended family) for an expensive meal......shiooor According to these clowns, "Charity begins in another man's domain"...............the same man they alleged hates and wishes to exterminate them. |
DaPuncline:Abi o jare!!! The same fulani folks who slaughtered them (ibos) in 1945 and again in '53. The same northerners who have even prior to independence , (conceived and mid-wifed by zik and his people) never conceaedl the hatred they arbor for the ibos. |
orimsamsam:True..............And that was the reason why the great doctor zik would rather be lackey to a level II teacher in the person of Balewa than team up with Awo. Or why else would a supposedly nationalist willing submit to playing lackey to a bonafide feudalist? Imagine what would have happened to yorubas on their home turf had they allowed the slimy fake nationalist to be in charge of their region in 1953? |
InyinyaAgbaOku:And that's because your fathers ran towards the west chanting "One Nigeria" like a faulty water-tap to partake in the free education Awo provided for his people with the regional resources at his disposal. The sad story on the ground is that, had it not been for the free education implemented by Awo in his own domain, many of your fathers would not have not been opportuned to see the interior walls of an educational institution. |
InyinyaAgbaOku:My bad................of course na, afterall every ibo man is a millionaire! ![]() It will interest you to know that zik did try to implement free education in the Eastern region (1957) after Awo's, in the western region but fell flat on his face within a year upon the realization that he just can't raise the requisite levy to fund the venture. Anyway, my initial post was in response to another poster who claimed that ibos invested heavily in education in the 50's. |
PentiumProf:You mean, "free education"? |
Brigham:4REAL!!! |
oduastates:GBABE!!! Nitori were ita ni a she ni were ni eyinkule. They came in handy in the last (civil) war. |
Xflint:How many of them have relocated their entire families to the SE? The total population of yorubas living in the SE is nothing compared to the number of ibos living in Oshogbo. |
gidgiddy:I concur with you. same as nothing will ever make an ibo man leave yorubaland. Not even the threat of been thrown in the lagoon or the actualisation of their much-hyped biafrau.d. |
gidgiddy:Jeez! you guys are so d.a.f t, sha. When the ilk of Awo, zik and co were agitating for their own country, they did did not call the brits derogatory names. I wonder why you have to include the U.S in your d.u.m.b analogy? Did we get independence from the U.S? You people calls the country a zoo and your Kanu was asking you emotionally unstable souls to kill all yorubas but at the same time once you have your biafra.ud, you still intend to live amicably with the same people you are fond of insulting and wishing all manner of calamities on. As far as we yorubas are concerned, ibos are not our brothers rather they are foes and as soon as you move to your new country, you can as well vacate our land. Moreover, if you get your nation through war (as your director kept harping on), then you can forget any form of interactions between us. No yoruba worth his salt will want to move to your biafra.ud. Anyway, am not surprised as this was the same way your fathers were bragging and cursing when they left our land (well, those that left) in 1967 only to come back in the 70's with their tails between their legs to swallow their own vomit. shameless d.o.l.ts |
Jeez! I really don't understand you folks. I mean why would you still want to reside in a "zoo" once you have actualised your biafra? It just goes to show that you folks need nigeria much more than nigeria needs you! |
MrsPhyno:Sorry, my sister from another father but i was merely observing how those who seem to be in accord with the lucidly fallacious tales by the honorable elder statesman from Kano, were mainly yeasterners. |
