DonCandido:Lolz...smart guy! For what it's worth, I'm gainfully employed...but why do I get the feeling that you are codedly looking for a suitor for your sister? I stand to be corrected but it obviously looks like you're tryna offload some baggage, in which case I'll beg to pass. |
Asiri1991:I'm more Ebonyian than you can ever be my friend, and I don't lie to myself like you. |
DonCandido:Do you have a sister? |
Tomoyayi:Carry your ignorance shift abeg. |
MadeINchenzen2:I just asked my folks, and they are cool with it. It's a shame that you don't have parents to ask, I guess that's why you needed me to ask mine for you. |
You see!!! Meanwhile, one brother that had nothing of value to contribute in her earlier thread rather than shut up his latrine; asked her to take her problems to the hospital, that Nairaland was not one. But it turns out she got the solution she was seeking after all, hospital or not. Please, if you have nothing to contribute to a thread, don't bring your bad energy and cynicism there. Allow well meaning people to offer value. Well done nairalanders, you've done it again. |
Op change your title. The airline is actually called UNITED NIGERIA boldly plastered on the fuselage. BLESSED IWENE TANSI is the name of one of the kites, and that's why it's less conspicuous just under the control cabin area. Good luck to the man. YA GAZIE! |
Bros this is clearly an innocent mistake. You meant well. Sad that things went south before your relationship took a proper hold. That said, keep trying to patch things up with her, admit that you were wrong not to trust her, and remind her that the bank misled you. She'll come around eventually, but she might need time. She's probably very disappointed and angry right now, and she has every right to be. I hope this teaches you to handle things with more restraint next time. Cheers. |
It's a shame that after all the gra gra that Jude did just to sign this artiste, he has only brought her this far. Let's even assume that maybe she bleeped up, couldn't her management show a little empathy, imagine stripping someone of her real name which also happens to be her stage name. Anyway, that's so much water under the bridge. The koko now is for Cynthia to reinvent herself and her sound. For starters, she can simply alter the spelling of her name, for example: SINTHIA MORRGAN or CINTIA MORRGGAN. This will take care of any possible litigation from her former label whom she naively signed away her name to. Once she puts out a super record, she’ll gradually reclaim her position...but she’ll have fight for it. And for all up and coming showbiz people, take the trouble to read your contract before you literally sign your life away for nothing. Be hungry for fame and success, but be wary of wolves masquerading as sheep, coz when push comes to shove, you'll realize that beneath those soft paws lie a set of very dangerous claws. So watch it! |
If you fail to report this or at least stop your colleagues from deliberately ruining another for their own selfish gains, you’re even doing worse than them. I’m appalled that some people here are asking you to mind your business because you’re going to hurt some criminals who have no qualms hurting another. Don’t listen to them. You owe it to yourself, your kindhearted and generous MD, and the establishment to expose this fraud. This good woman has provided you and your colleagues a much needed job, empowered you considerably and the best you guys can pay her back is trying to run her out of business, so that she won’t be able to provide employment to others in the future. Guy, it behooves on you to do what is right... and fast. Ask yourself if you would like to be dealt such a hand if you were the md. That crap about hurting the criminals shouldn’t bother you in the least. |
Whatever you can’t deal with in a marriage, don’t tolerate it in a relationship. That said, I think it’s highly unlikely that your gf is going to make any improvements in her character, in fact; she’s going to get worse at any rate. |
You’re perfectly normal in my opinion. By the way, when did having a sadistic thirst for killing animals and blood become a rite of passage for manhood? I’m any case, you might want to speak with a professional to help you regain your confidence in yourself. |
I fear for our health safety, considering that some misguided persons erroneously believe that dying of Coronavirus equals automatic martyrdom, it follows to reason that they may also believe that spreading it also brings more blessings. Otherwise I don’t understand why this exodus from the north to the south. Smacks of a deliberate action. |
I’ve always avoided engaging in issues like this one but I’ll make an exception for you. Bro you’re too good for this young lady, and she doesn’t deserve you one bit. That BS about not marrying someone from Ebonyi is a ruse. Eventually you will discover the real reason is that she either has someone else or, she doesn’t love you and is making up excuses- which is better than ending up with her and being miserable. Move on okay, you sound like a nice chap with potential, and trust me there are too many girls out there waiting to make you happy beyond your wildest dreams, go ahead and find them. |
Innosson needed reassurance that the government would buy his ventilators considering that the federal government only recently bought Toyotas instead of IVMs. We all know Nigerians like consuming foreign goods more than the ones made from with. |
When you fight the game of thrones, you fight to win. There’s no middle ground. Ganduje understands this perfectly, but what he doesn’t understand is that power is transient. Sooner than later, his day of reckoning will come, and his embarrassment would be more humiliating. |
Make no mistake about it, that thing is a scorpion. It’s the long-tailed specie and it’s really fast and venomous. It feeds and lives on decaying wood. Got stung by one when I was younger and was forced to eat a bucketful of onions plus other stuff. Anyways, this is your cue to fumigate your room inside-out. You’ve been particularly lucky to escape that stinger twice...don’t push your luck too far. Sniper is good but I’d suggest you find something even stronger...but watch it you don’t poison yourself instead. Kill em all...happy hunting. |
What I don’t understand is how a world famous sportsman like Ronaldinho imagined he could use fake travelling documents without wearing a solid disguise. He’s a gaddam world best footballer winner for Gods sakes...more popular than some presidents. He goofed! |
For f*cks sake, why is it cool for guys to move out and live alone, and it’s a taboo for gals to do same? That thinking pattern is certainly for slowpokes and retards. |
Lolz... very interesting subject. I know a lot of serious-minded young women who are living alone responsibly and decently, and they’re not estranged from their family in any way. Most times this is borne out of nobler visions than their male counterparts who either want space to do stuff they’re not allowed to do at home, or prove that they are independent. Just because you know a few ladies who left home and derailed doesn’t mean it’s a norm. Nuff respect to all the hardworking ladies out there, living alone, pursuing their dreams and earning their keep the right way. Btw, today’s a special day for women, show them love, support and understanding. Stop questioning and judging every single thing they do. |
If what the holy book says is anything to go by, then it’s safe to say that we’re all related. After all, we come from Abraham’s long line. I also understand that different people have different cultures, some of which are not only silly but bizarre and seemingly crafted to ruin lives. But I also realize that as Africans we hold tenaciously to our beliefs no matter how self-destructive they may be. The Greeks and romans married their own blood siblings so their progeny would be pure-blood and the heavens didn’t fall. In any case, I suppose you know what you want to do but you’re probably looking for some measure of validation. Whatever you do, don’t make your decisions in anger, spite, hate or love for that matter. I find decisions made in that state of mind aren’t always in anyone’s self interest. Shallom! |
50k? |
This is what happens when a butterfly begins to imagine himself as a bird. |
I’m beginning to question this man’s sanity. |
She’s obviously all about the money, she sees you as her cash cow. Meanwhile, she’s also got klepto written all over her. I hate to say this man, but she gotta kick rocks. In the meantime, work out a good child support plan for your kid. |
So this woman came out of retirement just to cash in on this storm in a teacup? I knew she couldn’t stay away...not with the way she craves attention. Anyways, for how long is she going to keep up the back and forth? She gotta choose whether to stick to her newfound evangelism or get back to her obsession as a high class gossip. |

Recently I had problems transferring money out of my first bank account. I tried the mobile app without success, so I switched to Quickteller, yet no show. Unknown to me, my account was restricted due to an update issue. Because I was desperate I started reaching out to my bank and Quickteller on social media channels. Unfortunately I fell for an account that looked genuine enough, it was packaged and presented as the official Facebook account of first bank with the logo and other paraphernalia. Long story short, I contacted them and they responded promptly and requested for my bank details. Luckily I had the presence of mind to give them only the account name and refused to give my account number. They kept persuading me for full disclosure which kinda made me more suspicious. In the end I decided to discontinue chatting with them. Fast forward to today I just found out Facebook changed the account status from business to individual, and all the bank information previously associated with it had been removed. . In fact, there’s no display image on the account. On inquiry I was told it was a phoney business account operated by a fraudster and not First Bank. I was lucky not to fall for their antics, someone else may not be so lucky unless I share this - and that’s exactly why I’m sharing it to put everyone on alert. Please be careful with resolving issues via social channels. Verify that the account you’re communicating with is the real and official account of your financial institution before divulging sensitive information. I hope this saves someone a tear or two...happy new year. PS: The screenshot shows the faceless and “logoless” account now showing “Facebook User” instead of First Bank that was there before. More so, at the bottom of the page is a notification that I can no longer reply to the conversation.

Karemarealty288:Thank you...I suppose yours is just the same since you’re also a Nairalanders. |
TheGiftedOne:Common sense and decorum is certainly not one of your zombie gifts... Stop showing off your pettiness on NL, besides this post isn’t for people like you; it’s for the enlightened and intelligent people who can appreciate the natural phenomenon captured in the pictures. |
