Good, compare the moms of those days when you were young with the wives of today and you will see a huge reason why the man should not reveal his account details to his wife. There are fringe benefits our mother enjoyed that the women of today will never enjoy.(what I'm saying here does not apply to all women but majority of them). Revealing your account details to her will make her put a tracker on you, she will start demanding, especially if the account is huge. She will like to know what every kobo taken from the account is used for. It will stop her from contributing her own quota. If your husband is very nice to you then what more do you want? He pays the bills, gives you money, and is trustworthy. Don't make a big deal about it. Men are wiser. Our fathers didn't have any issue in exposing their details to their wives but you have to know there was no boob jobs, butt jobs or any form of surgery then. No make-ups or brazzillian hair, heels where not common and expensive gadgets weren't there.

Anyways, before a lady should ask us What's wrong with us she needs to answer the following questions.
1. do you believe in gender equality? if yes, that means you have to do things equally with your man e.g. making decisions together, catering for the family together(paying bills). Many Nigeria ladies like gender equality but are buy ready for it. When it comes to the issue of spending, the say men are the head. When it comes to respecting the man's decision, they preach equality.
2. many of you want a hardworking man. if this man works a lot and provide for the needs of the house and he doesn't have enough time.... why do you cheat on him? and later come out with "he has no time for us".
3. Can you allow him to really be the head by not working (being a full-time housewife)? Because my wife cannot be working and make me suffer sometimes and won't agree to share financial responsibilities with me. Sometimes, you have to eat junks because you understand your wife has no much time owing to work and her self gratification.

You have a point there, There is this woman that comes home sometimes around 10pm. The husband closes around 8pm so he is always the one that bath and take care of the kids, cooks dinner and do some other chores. They have a maid but the maid stays with the woman at her shop. So when the kids started going to school the woman refused help pay for their fees and I was like what does she do with her money. It didn't take long sha before the man closed her shop.
