I was just going through some old post of last year, Yeah I was lonely. I was betrayed by my so called friends and I just wanted to meet new people. I was crying alot and always thinking too much. But I'm good now,I guess time heals all wounds.

I believe that a man can not be a Christian or God fearing if he hits his wife.because did Christ break the windows,seats,pews and pulpits in the church? We all know that he should love her as Christ loved the church? If you respect and love your Creator then you will respect your wife just for the sake of God through Christ.

I was engaged to be married and I called it off because it wasn't true love. I actually saw someone from my past and fell in love with him. It's funny because he is nigerian and I was his first. I saw him for the first time after five years and I couldn't believe it was him. Long story short,we got caught in the moment and were intimate. I instantly fell for him!I thought we were going to cut lose all of our baggage and hook up but it didn't work out like that. He acts so strange and I can't tell if he wants me or not anymore,but I can't allow anyother person to get close to me because I love him and want him.Should I be patient or move on?

I see alot of comments but only a few experiances. I am a single mother and it's never been a problem for me. On the contrary,men (nigerian) think I look too young to have a child and they awe at it. I've even had to turn some down because they were wanting to step into that "Dad" role too soon and I wasn't ready for it. I think that it is so hard to fine true love so when someone sees what they want they just go for it. I also think that how the single mother became single matters to some but not all because when I tell people that I had my son at the age of 16 just shy of my 17th birthday and I tell them that the father doesn't help me,they just think that I am too good of a person to be treated like that. Another thing is it depends on how desperate the girl acts.Nobody wants someone who is ashamed of there baby or trying to put it on the first man who walks by. It the women is cool and she looks like she can take care of the baby by her self regardless of the daddy being there or not and she is not looking for a man then alot of men will want her.

[color=#990000][/color]Well, I guess I'm one person who is best to answer a question like this. I have a six year old son and I am engaged (just got engaged). I got pregnant at the tender age of 16 and had my son about four monts before I turned 17. The father and I didn't stay together,he doesn't help me with our son til this very day. I think marrying someone with a child depends on some very important factors.for instance,does the father still have a relashionship with the child and has he moved on with his own life or is still trying to be with the mother.If he is trying to be with the mother,you shouldn't get involved because it may cause "DRAMA". If the guy isn't helping or he doesn't come around it's easier,well in most cases.How old the child is, is very important as well because depending on the age of the child and the relashionship with the father the child may or may not like any man to be with his mother other than the dad. In my case I don't have the father around and my son is still very young,and at that age where no matter if I get married now or not he just likes to be around loving and caring people.

It's not like I have an eye for Nigerian men,they have an eye for me. My church is an african church and I go there because I like it and I like it because of the worship. I have never really been the type to "look" for a man,I really don't need to.It's not because I am all of that or anything,I'm just liked.Now that most of the people around me know that I am not a "hoe" they treat me differently.Well I am officially off the "market" so it doesn't really matter any more anyway!

I thought if you killed yourself you go to hell,and betraying Jesus would get you a one way ticket to hell.didn't Jesus say that all 12 of his diciples were going to heaven?Was Judas evil or was he ment to do what he did to furfill the prophesy that went out before he was ever born.Did he disire evil things or was he used by God to furfill a purpose?

We all have theories on different things concerning the bible,I was wondering when it really boils down to it do the details matter? Is the most important thing, that Jesus died for or sins and that's it?does the history and all that comes with it really matter?What do you think?I really don't know what to think.

This is interesting. do you guys believe that there is a difference between loving someoone and being IN LOVE? I think you can marry someone that is a good christian, you love him,you understand one another and you want the same things out of life is cool. Like for example,if your are at the age,or time in your life you really want to do that christian thing and start a family and your close friend who you love asks for your hand,if you are ready and you guys want the same thing in life,why not get married.You already know what you are getting,if you are friends that means you already know each other in and out so there is no secrets,your friendshep makes you happy and you see this person a respectable,it can work.

Very interesting theories. I notice that youe guys don't agree on how Jesus started but one thing I notice is that all of you believe that Jesus is not God but a servant.I think that God made Jesus and I think that Jesus was called "the word".I think that where the bible says in the beginning the word with with God and the word was god that he was talking about Jesus. I believe that we are all gods who serve one master and that is God the maker of heaven and earth.I thing Jesus was a very important god,who carried out,not his will but the will of the master the almighty God.I think that God has the choice of doing things however he wants to but he chooses to use Jesus.I think that Jesus was created to serve us,because God loves us more than any other creation including the angels,because the angels serve us because God wants it that way.I think that God made Jesus the High Priest,because God can do all things but one thing he can never do or shall I say experiance is hardship,adversity,strife,and temptations.so he sent Jesus to experiance all these things.I think that God loves us so much that he wanted to know how to understand why we keep messing up.Jesus is in the best position of all to judge,even better than God,because Jesus was holy and he got to experiance all the things we experiance in the flesh.He can talk for us and review our "cases" with more sympathy because he understands to some extint.I think Jesus was used in so many ways.I think Jesus was given some authority in the beginning and he stayed on track(unlike the devil who wanted to replace God) so God kept using him and in the end he receive a very great reward he became high Priest)I think Jesus could have joined forces with the devil but he chose to stick with God.What do you think.Please keep in mind that I am a "baby in the Lord" and still learning everyday.

Yeah things are still on. ;DI Dew to the advice I received from you guys I went there expecting the worse. I just told myself,if this thing doesn't work then at lest I got a free trip out side of the country. the first week was cool,the second week I began to find out things I didn't know about him and I got angry.He told me alot of things that I didn't like,concerning girls and things like that. I found out that he had more than one girl he was messing around with,and that he ended everything like a month in a half before I came.which was around the time I paid for my ticket.He said he wasn't really sure that I was going to come.So that caused some tension,but I understood where he was coming from.We argued alot because he wouldn't let me have my way all the time and I didn't like that and I wasn't use to that. We had one big argument and I told him I wanted to go home,we didn't talk for a whole two days.Then we went to church and we ended up allowing God to intervene and we work things out.It was an emotional roller coaster the whole trip,but the thing that I like is that he didn't care if I didn't like something or how I would take something as long as he was very sure what he was doing or saying was right.I thought that was annoying at the time.The thing that made me really love him the more is that he has such self control.We didn't even have sex and we slept together everyday!!!He said that he wanted to wait.I thought he was lieing at first but he actuallly stood his ground,and at a time I really wanted to make love.but because he said no,I had to act more reserved than him because I'm the women so I didn't push the issue.But I really did want to do it!!I figured even if he use to have more than one girl,it doesn't matter because I know if he has a reason to exercise self control he can,because he did it with me.I'm glad I went

Ethiopian women are very beautiful,I heard women from sinegal are very beautiful as well. The thing with those very very beautiful women,I notice,and if you disagree tell me,they look older faster.You will see a beautiful ethiopian women but if she is past 30 she isn't really beautiful anymore.Nigerian women can look young up to age 60 if they keep themselves in good shape.We have the best skin of all backgrounds it's built to out last all of the temporary beauty out there.

If you have been with this website long enoung you may have been one of the people who gave me some very helpful advice concerning me and a Nigerian in Manchester. Here's the update. I did go to Manchester,the funny thing is because he is out of status and we didn't work one small detail out I almost got sent home to the states. When I got there they asked me who was I visiting and I told them,then they asked where he lived and I didn't know. They called him and he was so scared that he wouldn't talk to them. I had to stay in the airport for an extra 3 hours before they allowed me to go. After all the advice I had recieved from you all I was SCARED to DEATH(well, kind of). He wasn't a prince chairming after all.For the first week we got along well but after that we argued alot about very trivial issues.Like what I was wearing or me not wanting to talk as much as he did.we prayed together and went to church together but we still had these little issues everyday.I figured this guy is messing up way to much to want papers.After to weeks I was ready to come back home to the states. As the days lingerd on I began to realize that the things that I don't like about him aren't really big issues and that for the most part,he had the qualities that I want in a husband.He gets on my nerves but over all he made it very clear to me that he only wants whats best for me and that he cares for me. Well, I have never been called a harlot but I know lots of nigerian men use us for sex. I live in Dallas and that's all you see.You will see them "dating" but never married for real. I can't stop BET from showing booty on TV what do I have to do with that? Obviosly being yorself is not enough to know if they are taking you serious or not. The best advice my mother ever gave me was to keep my legs closed when it comes to guys.I had to learn the hard way though.

I feel that America is better simply because of the ability to come from anywhere and become anything.You can go to school anywhere,but the US does not except most of those degrees.If you take you us degree anywhere you are at the top of the list to be chosen. I can't believe how expensive it is in the uk.Why?It's not like it's America or something.I guess they have to pay for all that "free" stuff they give you some kind of why huh?The us is a place to grow and enjoy your accomplishments.Nothing holds you back from anything.America is the land of milk and honey.That's why they say "God bless America".We are founded on God and who can be better than that?That is why our economy thieves,our education system is the best and more people have a chance to make it.The uk seem like a place to go after you get your self together financially.which most people are not.I wouldn't want to live in a place that is not founded on God anyway,it's destin for doom.GOD BLESS AMERICA!

This is all to gut renching for me.I feel like my life is on this website!I met this guy in febuary through this rich lady at my church who appears to be a women of God.She told me about her brother and to make a long long long story short.We started talking and after a couple of weeks we started talking about the future and marriage.We pray together and everything.I made up my mind that this was the man that God had chosen for me.When I got on this site to seek opinions,my whole world was turned upside down and inside out.I am headed for manchester september8 which is a little less than two weeks away.I'm still going but I have decided,to cancel getting married to him because I'm scared.Why do men have the mind to deceive even christian women? Why can't he just see me as I am love me and want me?I'm sad and hury all at the same time.It's not fare to me at all.

I'm headed out that way and I don't want to sit in the house with no one to get to know and nothing to do.
