You are right about that part it's a display of capabilities, not a retaliation. It's an indication of humiliation to their pride of Iron Dome failure.
Israel’s defense budget is over $150 billion. A population of 10m.
Cost did not translate to effectiveness, cost of Iran attack was estimated to 35 million dollars, while cost of defence was estimated to 2 billion dollars.

IDF is the 4th strongest military in the world, having more than 400 nuclear warheads.

They can turn the entire Iran to a radioactive dust within 5 mins.

Yet They Couldn't finish Hamas in 6 months but could kill 36,000 Civilians, they ran from Hezbollah in 2006, required 6 countries in joint operations to defend it from Iran testing programme, despite they were on full ready secure mode (Shutdown their airspace, spoof gps, fighter jet ready, etc and still got hit by Iran missiles) Isreal is living in old glory.

Most of the things these countries rely on for war and navigation are created by Jews.

The government has told the Discos to ensure Band A users get 20 hours of light daily. What this means is that any electricity generated is first distributed to the Band A users, then whatever is left is shared among the lower bands.
So your 1 hour of light daily is what your Disco can afford to give you after supplying Band A.
It can only get better if electricity generation improves.

Disclaimer: please look at this in a non-tribalistic manner.

Opinion: Northerners are more concerned about their predominant religion(Islam), than their health, economy, infrastructure, education, technology, stable electricity and security of their people (i.e. ending kidnapping, terrorism and banditry).

If only they can direct their energy towards this things, the North will be like Dubia, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Same goes for most sahel African countries like Niger, Mali and so on.

Agencies like Hisbah, Muric and their likes have no place in modern societies. This is year 2024, for God's sake. The age of AI, self driving cars, Web 3 and son on.

Nobody can be an evening newspaper as you have rightly noted that the word is derogatory. Even worse that it most times comes from men who are unmarried themselves, but somehow clutch to that as the only means to put women down.

Using Nairaland as a case study, I am yet to see any of the forum's rules that says females must be married to have peace. So the obsession with the marital status of women on this site is unbecoming.

That said, marriage is a lifetime decision that can make or mar you. You should do it when you are prepared for it and with someone who wants it as much as you do. It is not for survival or change of status. If you die at 30, they will call it premature death. But you are alive and same people think you are too old for marriage.

People have different spec at different stages of their lives. Pick your own spec and shut up.

Nobody is an evening newspaper. If you are worried about single ladies/men, do well to marry one and help us reduce the population of singles. Anything less and you are an emptyheaded rabblerouser.
I was planning to marry 4 wives to reduce the number of single ladies, unfortunately non of them agreed to the plan.
