In the past all attempt to strangulate Lagos have all failed, This also will fail, A city is moved by people not budget, oil, The human resources we have lagos will take us places, with God on our side, so no shaking, Infact cut the oil allocation Lagos will still grow, |
I am not Ibo but I respect this guy, Nzeogwu was a very discipline officer. He was a devout catholic, a teetotaler, a non-smoker, and despite being a bachelor, did not spend much time chasing women. What possessed a puritanical, bible bashing, innocent young man like Nzeogwu to murder unarmed civilians in the middle of the night? What is clear is that Nzeogwu had harboured some anti-government sentiment for several years before 1966. He seriously believed he was participating in a revolution, but the other Majors let him down. |
And this man is almost eighty years old! God is great, Money is not everything, |
This is poverty period I am not from the north but i think the level of poverty in the north is alarming, |
Guys in the Techworld - IT, Aerospace guys, Capital Market pundits are nerds, geeks, Ask Mark Zuckerberg, Xiaofeng Peng, John Arnold, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Steve Jobs, there are many more like that not all are successful but they are definitely obsessive with something everybody think is nothing, Have u seen Larry Page pics that guy is a nerd and a geek, definitely not stupid, |

cause women nowadays are conniving and highly materialistics, remember 50cent 21 questions, |
Local Government councils created by IBB and Abacha created more problems than solution, ask people of Warri, Ife, Modakeke, Jos, etc |
Lagos and Bauchi are exempted why so they lose out because the did something for their pupils already, I guess it better to do nothing in Nigeria, where is the incentives to do better in Nigeria, The better refund both Lagos and Bauchi their share of the educational fund, they can use it for other things like school structures, furniture, school library, |
This is bullshit, the regional fault lines are not sacrosanct, the north south regional line was created by someone it can always be changed with time, for instance in the united states, the Mason-Dixie line symbolizes a cultural boundary between the Northeastern United States and the Southern United States (Dixie) use to include Maryland and parts of pennslyvania. well now no one is going to call Maryland southern united states, the north south lines are colonial lines it no more exist, for all we know, the people of kwara, kogi, Benue are culturally becoming southern states culturally, |
Same way Abdulsalami foisted undemocratic obasanjo on Nigerians, |
I agree kwara and kogi are northern states period, when 2015 comes power goes back to the north, Bukola Saraki for president, let see how far he will go, |
Banjo led a massive momentum at Ore, about 7000 Biafran troops with limited fire power and was defeated, pure and simple, by a many lives were lost at Ore both on the federal sides and Biafran sides, My uncle that went to Ondo boys Grammar school told about the carnage at Ore, skulls, limps, etc everywhere, roughly over 10,000 lives were lost at Ore, The battle was a purely military affair, guns on guns, God gave victory to the sides he wanted, Banjo was killed for losing a major battle, |
Who is deceiving who The biafrans are responsible for their welfare, The war should have been stopped immediately after the fall of the capital, Enugu finish. But the biafrans wanted a do or die and they got that, The yorubas or hausa would never fight a losing war like that, If u get defeated in the field, accept defeat and move on, Enugu, Ore, Portharcourt, taken the war is over, |
I respect these professionals in the academia for their discipline and dedication to their career. I have met a couple of these individuals personally. Guys it is not easy. Considering all the societal pressure from family and friends in Nigeria. Most Nigerian come to America to make money. |
The Noble Idea of keeping Nigeria one! My brother I did not include the thousands that came back from the war physically, mentally, and emotionally damaged, Abacha for example was known to have suffered post traumatic stress disorder during the civil war, All the notable Nigerian military men changed completely after the war, Obasanjo, Adekunle, Muritala, Abeg Nigerian Army as we know it has sacrificed for Nigeria, |
The Nigerian Army made huge sacrifices during the civil war, The Nigerian army offensive through the north of Biafra led by Colonel Shuwa and the local military units faced unexpectedly fierce resistance and high casualties, the right-hand Nigerian column advanced on the town of Nsukka which fell on 14 July, while the left-hand column made for Garkem, which was captured on 12 July. The 1st Infantry did not advance much after the encounter. The Biafran attack was led by Lt. Col. Banjo, a Yoruba, with the Biafran rank of brigadier. The attack at Ore met heavy resistance from the Nigerian army and both sides suffered heavy losses within 36hrs period. Four battalions of the Nigerian 2nd Infantry Division were needed to drive the Biafrans back and eliminate their territorial gains made during the offensive. The 2nd Infantry suffered thousands of losses. The Nigerians were repulsed three times as they attempted to cross the River Niger during October, resulting in the loss of thousands of troops, dozens of tanks and equipment. The first attempt by the 2nd Infantry Division on 12 October to cross the Niger from the town of Asaba to the Biafran city of Onitsha cost the Nigerian Federal Army over 5,000 soldiers killed, wounded, captured or missing. From 1968 onward, the war fell into a form of stalemate, with Nigerian forces unable to make significant advances into the remaining areas of Biafran control due to stiff resistance and major defeats in Abagana, Arochukwu, Oguta, Umuahia (Operation OAU), Onne, Ikot Ekpene. Many Nigeria Soldiers were injured and killed. Estimates vary from 15,000 to 40,000 Nigeria soldiers killed in action. |
No She said she will rather die than commit suicide, English, She meant she will rather fight and die than to blowing herself into pieces, |

The election was flawed, the interpretation of the electoral law was flawed, shagari won an election with less than 34% of the vote, Candidate Party Votes % Shehu Shagari National Party of Nigeria 5,668,857 33.77 Obafemi Awolowo Unity Party of Nigeria 4,916,651 29.18 Nnamdi Azikiwe Nigerian People's Party 2,822,523 16.75 Aminu Kano People's Redemption Party 1,732,113 10.28 Waziri Ibrahim Greater Nigerian People's Party 1,686,489 10.02 Total 16,846,633 100 A runoff was necessary but the powers that be would not allow Nigerians to be, (British interest, Military Interest) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_presidential_election,_1979 |

Ribadu is an action man, Ribadu may not be the best at rhetorics but I know he can act and act decisively, Ribadu would act right in the best interest of Nigerians |
Question would the Nigerian Military be honorable and not obey orders to attack civilians in Nigeria, Are they really honorable? or not |
Olorun ma je ki aye kodi si wa, when the world turns against you there is no one to rescue you but God, |
Bad Luck |
That money would be wasted on the election by the politicians in different tiers, mark my word wasted, |
Just my contribution, The word "Slave" in Yoruba is Eru and in IBO it is Oru , I guess there is some similarity there, point is we are all one and the same, |
so they lose out because the did something for their pupils already, I guess it better to do nothing in Nigeria, where is the incentives to do better in Nigeria, The better refund both Lagos and Bauchi their share of the educational fund, they can use it for other things like school structures, furniture, school library,
