^^^^I am glad to see that you are beginning to see what other ppl have already been seeing about your responses and more importantly that you are also humble enough to accept good advice such as the one just served - this last act alone would no doubt redeem you before many eyes - and a welcomed development. @ Poster: I think I am with you on this one, though many have given sound logical reasons as to how easy it is to misjudge the situation; but I think first instincts hardly fail us, more especially given the circumstances: its a long distant relationship already on shaky ground, the change in attitude/coldness, the pause on the phone (not very good signs at all) - and na 9ja chick operating in 9ja. I agree you need to find out by talking to her, just to have closure since you have already taken your decision - whether right or wrong (chances are you would not have any regrets, just move on). Good luck ![]() |
@Akainzo: I don't know who you really are, obviously well educated and intelligent (my guess perhaps also a fellow southerner); just want to say your posts certainly give food for thought and also makes me feel guilty about my own occasional lapses in judgement - especially for one with a few friends among the Hausas and living in the north. For goodness sake, there will always be good, bad and ugly in every tribe |
Her unique dimpled smile, so charming, so alluring, so innocent and heart warming; never had I been so enchanted by anyone ever since - even the memory is so pleasant to recall till today. |

Sometimes it can be a personal thing, I am also like the poster, I hardly ever feel comfortable receiving gifts from a gf especially very early in the relationship or with ones I am not 100% committed. It just doesn't feel right ![]() MsDarkSkin:Pls don't be ![]() BTW, @ bold, how quaint to note a Jamo using Nigerian pidgin ![]() |
uzoo:You just beat me to the gun. buzugee:Very digusting ; shocking isn't it? |
Possibly, text sent by mistake, not meant for you but for her other bf(s) or cos she had cheated and truly cannot come to terms with the guilt for her actions. Either way, its not looking good; I'd be worried if I were you. Just brace yourself for some bad news, cos your little cosy lovey dovey bubble is likely about to be burst - sorry mate ![]() |
^^^^ and ShyOne, thread asked can you date a NIGERIA policeman/woman, hope you noticed. ![]() |
Currently, there is worldwide re-think about this route for alternative energy, especially after the recent Japanese earth quake which resulted in the near meltdown along with very dangerous leakage of radioactivity from two of it's nuclear plants. If that could happen to the Japanese who are renown for engineering excellence and diligence/ attention to details; then God help Nigeria. BTW, I hope the site they would choose is no way near my village or state. ![]() |
Unfortunately, it sometimes happens even in marriage, however, no matter the circumstances r/ape is always an awful experience for a woman and therefore shouldn't be condoned. On the other hand, the guy has already formally proposed and they have been going out for 2years. Well, I believe 2yrs is long enough wait, the girl should appreciate that he may have been so deprived that he could have lost control in a moment of weakness, perhaps when they were romancing. His crime although despicable is also forgivable, after-all they are about to get married and soon he would be getting it on the tap anyway, moreover she may later even be the one demanding the guy for regular servicing. I suggest she should forgive him, but should discuss the issue with him and if necessary set new boundaries that would be practical and reasonably acceptable to both parties. Their problem is not insurmountable or irredeemable. |
Kai, it seems that some ppl do not know the meaning of petite - a French derivative word, meaning; small, as in slim, lightweight, not fat, not tall; but also not a midget - just generally smallish. ![]() |
@ Poster: Basically, they are the same, all girls love money; Hausa, Igbo, Oyinbo, Chinese, all the same. However, there is some truth in your observation that can be adduced to socio - cultural differences due to their upbringing. Hausa/Fulani girls are usually under stricter parental supervision and sheltered from temptations and the often pressure of sponsoring themselves or siblings through school or even supporting the their families without having to account for how they got the money. In addition, their religion is quite conservative and also a strong influence. I believe given the same circumstances, Hausa/Fulani girls would also succumb just as easily. As for their bedmatics, well I am not quite sure where the poster got that idea from; because access to those Hausa babes are usually quite limited - Aboki long knives have acted as effective deterrents - those who disagree are free to do so at their own risk. |
MRbrownJAY:LOL, MBJ, thumps up, you certainly got game. ![]() |
