RomanceRe: When Your Girlfriend, Fiance Or Wife Asks Her Friend, sister Or Someone Else To Test Ur fidelity. by tashanja(m): 2:15pm On Mar 27, 2011
Big mistake if she should try that stuff with me. In fact I'll make sure I deliberately fail that test. cool
PoliticsRe: Bride Abandons Wedding For Nnpc Test? (PIX) by tashanja(m): 3:39am On Mar 27, 2011
Much as I would like to believe this story, somehow I am suspecting that it may have been stage managed.

Reason: nearly all weddings take place over the weekend i.e. Saturdays/Sundays to make allowance for travelling guests and other logistics, etc. Meanwhile, I can't imagine NNPC organizing such an official event on a non working day such as a weekend ( though anything possible 4 9ja).

My suspicion is that the alleged bride may have done so to gain the sympathy of the organizers as an advantage to scale through the selection process.

I could be wrong, but this one looks like a scam to me. cool

Odunnu:
sincerely speaking, I dont want the money! I may need it but No! I cant keep such money. If i'd known he'l make a deposit, I wouldnt have given my details. I thought he'l 'play' me and thereby move on adding me to his 'gold-digger' list. Until ths happened, I didnt know how much trust and respect he had for me.
I feel ashamed for misbehaving.
And so you should.
In fact what were you thinking, toiling with another man's heart when in fact you had a serious relationship going on.

Yep, you certainly have succeeded in adding your name to his and everybody's gold digger's list because by giving out your bank details, you have proven that you could collect the money as well as having the potential for using it for the intended purpose (even if not entirely going through with it). Unfortunately, that impression would now be hard to remove - at last not for a while.

Yes, I would like to believe you didn't intentionally set out to defraud him, however, you are quite clearly guilty of playing this poor man - though he may have also played a role in his own misfortune.

Unfortunately, you wanted to eat your cake and have it and are now paying the price of your mis-judgement. Anyway, I feel you sha, hope you learned your lesson.

Lastly, I think we should now daub you as one of our very own official female NL PLAYAS, so welcome on board cheesy grin grin

I don't think the poster is all that innocent in the matter. How else would he have been thoroughly convinced to drop that kind of money for the proposed visit without the poster leading him on in the first place?
I mean what kind of conversation were they having that could have led to the notion of visitation to the extent of providing genuine bank account details and exchange of money?
The man's reaction speaks for its self; why would he have been disappointed, angry and hurt if he didn't feel genuinely misled?
Bottom line, the babe scammed him emotionally and financially (whether intentionally or not), then later had a change of heart.
I bet you in her heart of hearts she is probably hoping she could eventually get to keep the money and still look morally clean, by going through the motion of wanting to return the money while getting a psychological pat on the back from us NLders for all her supposedly failed efforts.
Abeg, who is she fooling jor cool cheesy

@Poster, I know you were expecting to see a paradise the Hausas have built with the oil money. All thanks to The NYSC at least you're now enlightened. Those few corrupt leaders in the south like the ones in North can't  deceive you. Let's begin to hold individuals accountable. Let's stop this North/South, Christian/Muslem thing it won't help us. They are using all these to confuse us while they carry on their looting.  God help Nigeria.

RomanceRe: She Insist We Share Tooth Brush Together. by tashanja(m): 11:51pm On Feb 04, 2011
I agree with the Poster: its disgusting (matter of opinion) and also inadvisable (factual).
To all those that say its no big deal, well cast your minds back to how many times your gums sometimes bleed when you brush. Now any need to describe how possible it is to catch or spread disease that way huh.

Ever heard of the solved riddle/tragedy of how small children within a family all got HIV while mummy & daddy were negative, because house girl dutifully bathes & brush children's teeth with the same brush she share with them, every morning. shocked shocked

Tut, tut, tut, boys and girls shine your eyes well well because love should not be totally blind. Once again, pls be been warned cool

RomanceRe: What's Your Advice On Dis by tashanja(m): 2:02am On Feb 02, 2011

RomanceRe: Ladies Would You Go Ahead And Date This Guy? by tashanja(m): 1:35am On Feb 02, 2011
Evidently you are not compatible, accept that and move on, both of you deserve somebody better than you can offer to each other - unless of course you are still attracted to his good looks & money or wondering that he may have some hidden assets/talent that may help tilt the balance in his favour, e.g. a 9 incher that by chance could do all the conversation you need for the both of you. grin grin

Bottom line, follow your heart, do what makes you happy. Good luck. smiley wink
