the current strike isnt helping matters as she might not be able to afford a private consultant hospital( she complained of limited finance).

When next you go to FMC, insist that you want to see a paed and not just a general doc. from your answer, i can comfortably tell you that your baby is fine, she just need help on her motor skills. i think this is the time you need to devout much time to her during the day. although her weight at 13 months is poor and since she is not interested in taking the pap, you can give her the adult food she so much want. i do not know much about variety of adult food that can be given to a baby at that age. maybe mothers inhere could be of help in that area. ALSO DO NOT FORCE-FEED HER, it will affect her psychology when its time to eat always.

practice the sitting technique i gave u often, always place her on her tummy ( this will encourage/stimulate crawling and dont do this on a hard floor) and also get her a baby walker to assist her leg muscles to hasten standing standing-up and walking later on. you can also watch some physical therapy videos on you-tube. this will assist you on how to go about it.

In all, try to see a pead and NOT a general practitioner and most importantly devout more time for her to help with her motor skills.

I gave birth to my princess last night at 40weeks + 2days. She weighed 3.4kg. To God be the glory. Help me thank God o.

Those pregnant shall put to bed with ease. Those TTCing shall receive their bfp very soon in Jesus name. Amen.

hi dear, first of all, i wld ask u to relax. there s no cause for panic. PCOS isnt a death sentence.y wld u want to get pregnant out of wedlovk? Pls and pls do not do dat. If u ve bn diagnosed wt PCOS, then i suggest u go see a good gynaecologist there re meds for it. pple hv had PCOS and still had their babies. see a good dr, and follow his prescription. cheers

Congrats dear. dont worry, ur questions no dey too many . folic acid is ok at this stage. u may need to add odas next tym. u can start antenatal by ur 2nd month, at least so ur baseline investigations could b done. wishing u a smooth ride and safe delivery wen d tym comes.

@imnuflawal try drinkin loads of water n emptying ur bladder frequently. Don't postpone passing urine wen u feel pressed. Reduce ur sugar consumption, eat more fruits, don't allow soaps n perfumed substances around ur vijay

@lamdec kpele. Try eating tiny foods @a tym. Kip praying...it usually reduces by 2nd trimester

'bulky' uterus means ur uterus is 'carrying' something. since u re preggy, its ur baby. u wld hv bn worried if it said 'empty' uterus. so fear not

first confirm if u re pregnant or not, and if u re, welcome on board. I ve gone tru and presently goin tru a similar situation(though this 2nd one wasn't my makin, 1st one was). The two were 8 months when i took in and i breastfeeded(hope dis word is correct) them till they were 1yr old. No complications only relatives that were throwing side talks. Be calm.

I was pushed here from TTC group. See I am a bit confused and frustrated at the same time.
OK, I have a beautiful baby geh who just entered her 5th month of life. So few weeks back I started having the exact symptoms I had when I was newly pregnant with her. This had left me devastated and afraid at the same time.
So my good people, had anyone been in this situation before? How did you handle it?
I am still breastfeeding regardless.

do a pregnancy test to confirn if u re preggy or nt, abi fear dey catch u? . like sm1 said even if u re, u can continue breastfeeding

good to kno u re eating well. small for gestational age means babies dat are smaller dan they shld b at dat given tym(while still in d womb o). Bt dont get urslf worked up, it may rven b error on ur dr's part(she s human, u kno). To calm ur fears, i think u shld just do a scan. d sinographer shld ascertain ur baby's weight, then ur dr ll b able to say weda its normal for age or nt. bt i hv a feeking ur baby s very fine

no need to b worried. if u re sure of ur last menstrual period, then ur gestational age s more accurately calculated frm ur LMP.Hope u re eating well tho, to rule out small for gestational age foetus
