hey ladies, am new here and had a good time reading the posts. The journey to motherhood is a very tough one but quite rewarding. I am preggy with my 2nd child and so far i have had a good ride just like the first. but then, i have this fear anytime i remember my first delivery. I had a cervical tear and bled so badly i almost lost my life due to poor handling/management. "Jesus simply revived me" but it was so scarry........that I don't want to go back to that hospital(it was an air force hospital). Now i use a private hospital for my ante-natal and i still do not feel satisfied with their services yet. I don't know if it is me or I don't feel quite right that I don't have a connection with them especially the gynecologist as he is always uptight. Am getting close gradually and I feel i need to change to a good hospital/doctor. I need help with suggestions around ikeja/ogba pls, pls, pls. Ultimately I know Jesus has got me but you can never be too careful with certain things.

been a while i drop comments as i just browse through the page and read. i had to comment because of ur post, from your description, what your baby is suffering from is not mal-nutrition. i can deduce whats happening to her from your post but i wouldn't want to scare you. an urgent test has to be carried out ASAP. which state are you based so that i can direct you to a good and experienced consultant pead...

ow far gone are u? Check for protein in ur urine.Wen u sit, raise ur legs up wt a stool.U can use pillows to raise dem up if u re lying down bt kp dem raised most of d tym.

went 4 a pelvic scan 2day, n d sonographer said all was well n deer was noting wrong with baby, bt I was surprise 2 c on d result dat I was 34 wks gone n edd is early DEC instead of 37wks n my edd being 2nd wk in Nov. I'm used 2 seeing a week differences in dis results, bt I tink 3 wks difference is just 2 much. my doctor did a tummy measurement n concluded dat my baby was way past 36 weeks n I shldnt b worried. its really hard not 2 worry even though I read some sites dat gave some assurances. I'd like 2 know wat can cause such huge difference in d edd date. awaiting ur quick response.

Well things like this happen though. Human error. Maybe the sonographer was thinking about his rent. The landlord might have given him a sleepless night.

Well, just take it as an iatrogenic mistake and pardon him!

late scans are usu nt accurate. dont think its frm d sonographer. d earlier d scan, d better and d more accurate

@ayolight, so sorry abt wot u may b going thru.I think ur baby has failure to thrive.Wen did u start noticing d inability to add weight? wot was birth weight?is he holding his neck and sitting yet?apart frm failure to add wt, is he otherwise normal? does he tire easily? was his heart checked at d hospital? sorry for d plenty questions.In all, u need to c a good paed, as sm1 suggested, u cn go to luth, they hv diff specialists there.Please STOP d herbal meds for nw(at least u ve used them for sometym to no avail).May God wipe away ur tears

I left d hospital dis morning. am still 4cn dilated since yesterday as at dis morning dat i left d hospital. doctor said i should go home dat if am havin contraction dat i should come back to d hospital because am only dilating but am not having contraction. I saw small blood dis morning, since then have been using pad but d blood is not really much. Thank u all for ur prayer, i know God will c me through.
