Michael547:Oga it has nothing to do with lies, we argue and debate to learn from each other and you have convinced me. That is the purpose of discussion. So now are you willing to move on or will you keep creating excuses? |
Michael547:Oga agreeing with someone you disagree with doesn't mean you lied. But then it's ok. I see you are not comfortable with the main discussion but you prefer a distraction. You prefer us spending the next week on the same spot and we both know why. |
Michael547:Nope but I now agree you are right can we move on. Because we have wasted days outside the topic. |
Michael547:I just said I agree with you. Now let's go back to the main topic, please. Can I ask you my questions now? |
Michael547:But I have agreed that you are right. Moses was the mediator of the Old Testament and your translations are perfect. So now we can move on, right? |
Michael547:Please read my post above. It answers all your concerns but for the sake of unending argument let's agree that Moses was the mediator of the old testament. Now can we continue from there please. Because we need to see if Moses was also the way, truth and light of the old testament and no one could come to the Father but by him in the old testament. Also, we would see if there was a third mediator for those who lived before Moses. So can we move on please? |
Michael547:What's your question here? Your translation was about Moses mine was not. If that is not a contradiction what is? Secondly, the bible says there is only one mediator, if that is not contradictory to your fake translations , what is? Now you brought a verse in Hebrew as your defense. The verse speaks about the mediator of the new testament but it never said the old covenant had or needed a mediator. Now to avoid continuous back and front, let's assume that Moses was the mediator of the old testament my question is, was Moses the mediator for Abel, Enoch, Joseph and Abraham? Again are you saying that it was through Moses that the people of the old testament came to God? He was there way, truth and light? So for argument sale, I have agreed that Moses was the mediator of the old testament so now I guess you can answer all my questions. |
Michael547:Ok let's read and see if Hebrews 9:15 says Jesus is not the only mediator Hebrews 9:15 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. No it doesn't. Does Hebrew 9.15 talk about an old testament mediator or an old covenant mediator? It doesn't. Who even gave you the notion that the old testament or the old covenant needed a mediator. Who was Abel's mediator? Who was Abraham, Enoch, Joseph and even Job's mediator. Oga you have put yourself in a lot of trouble here. No verse in the bible explains your falsehood. But 1 Timothy 2:5 explains that there is only one mediator this disproving your 3 fake translations ![]() 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; |
Michael547:This is the verse that your pastor's have no answer to ![]() 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; |
Michael547:But I just did. My translation has nothing to do with Moses. Now please bring out the translation that contradicts 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; This verse is your kryptonite ![]() |
Michael547:Oga is that the only verse in the bible? You are afraid of the verse that says Jesus Christ is the only mediator just for argument sale. A true Christian would accept every verse in the bible but in your case you have rejected verses that don't align with what your pastor told you. It's clear you love your pastor more than God but it's ok. No problem. |
Michael547:You showed me 3 false translations and I showed you the correct one. It has nothing to do with Moses. Oga how come you don't want to have anything to do with the verse that says there is one mediator? ![]() I guess it's because it doesn't fit with your doctrine. I am sure you avoid that verse because it exposes your false believes. Unlike you, I am comfortable with every verse in the bible. I don't need to erase any verse and to insist on false translations to push forth a believe system. I have been able to educate you on Gal 3.19 Can you do same to the verses I showed you? funny people |
morgstreme:It's clear this one has nothing to offer |
Michael547:Funny guy. My case is that your Bible says there is only one mediator. If you don't believe that then it's your business but you can't change it. Any translation that says you have more than one mediator is false. |
morgstreme:Just because you say so doesn't mean much. Any idiot can write what you wrote it doesn't mean you know much. You are just the typical Nairaland boy, always boasting to know more even when you don't. |
Michael547:Oga the translation says nothing about Moses. But the bible is more than one verse and the bible says Jesus Christ not Moses is the only mediator. Put the 2 together and get wiser. Who are you to tell God at what verse to say what? You obviously don't believe the verses that say Jesus Christ is the only mediator so you will remain stuck with your false translations. The bible is not one verse. You gather your truths from all the verses |
Michael547:It does, it says nothing about Moses. Yours is about Moses. |
Michael547:I have given you the correct translation a million times just read and save yourself |
MaxInDHouse:This one just dey find attention up and down ![]() Ok now you got my attention what next. |
Michael547:Very funny. The word of God tells you that there is only one mediator but that to you does not contradict your false belives? If the words of Paul no fit do you then no one can help you |
Michael547:You want averse that says Jesus is the only Mediator? Here you go. 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Any translation claiming Moses is your mediator is the personal opinion of the translator and not the word of God. |
Michael547:Oga it contradicts everything you said. You claim it says Moses was the mediator. Again let me post it word for word and please this is simple English. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. I said the promise (Abraham's covenant) was Ordained by the angels in the hand of a mediator and not the Law. This is way simple English. Paul never mentioned Moses. It is your false verses that mentioned Moses. That is criminal. |
Michael547:Now you are clearly not reading I just gave you the KJV. Please what exactly are you asking me for. The KJV supports everything I said to you and I also gave you another verse from Paul to confirm it. Right now, even if Paul comes back to life and tells you that you and your fake versions are wrong you mo go gree. Even if you feel this verse is controversial, the same Paul is telling you that there is only one mediator but you insist he is wrong. Clearly you can't be helped. |
Michael547:It omits Moses because it has nothing to do with Moses and it doesn't mention Jesus Christ because already, the bible tells you that Jesus Christ is the only mediator so even without mentioning his name, everyone should know. I wonder why it's so hard for you to get. So let me break it down to you, in a way you can understand. If at one point I say, Amaka is my only sister then at some other time I say my sister visited me, do I still need to tell you that it was Amaka that visited? 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; I really hope you get it now |
Michael547:I don't get your question here. It's a very simple read that had nothing to do with Moses. Extracts from it, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. This is how it ends no Moses as mediator |
Michael547:You and your translations claim Moses was the mediator but the kjv does not mention or imply Moses in anyway |
Michael547:Your versions claim Moses was their mediator. The Kjv does not say or imply so. |
Michael547:But I did a thousand times already. Here it is again Kjv 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. |
Michael547:Good question Here is my proof. The same Paul that wrote Galatians also wrote, 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; This is my proof. It's either Paul is lying or your translations are all wrong. I choose to believe that your translations are incorrect, fake, false and wrong. As it is written, let God be true, but every man a lia. I prefer to believe that the word of God is correct and the criminals that made your translations are the liars not the other way round. Do you get it now? |

It's clear you want to stick to false translations but you seem scared to quote John 14.6 and 1 Timothy 2:5 from your translation because you know in your heart that your translations are false. Hope you know that the truth is not a game of numbers. Moses needed just one rod not four nor 7 to defeat the Egyptian false doctrines. I only need one correct translation not 4 false ones |
Michael547:Yes below are false translations and I have proved to you that they are false but it seems you just can't do without false translations. It your translations are right then you make Paul a liar when he says that there is only one mediator not two and not three |
Michael547:You mean your four translations state that the follow are false right. Please copy and paste them 1. John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 2. 1 Timothy 2:5 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; If so, no wahala |
