The book of shouldn't be taken as literal at all.
What do you think the false prophet and the beast symbolise? Or you think they are literal?

Chapter 14 should help you understand that lake of fire symbolises eternal destruction.

Death is abstract just like hell. Hell in some Bible was translated "realm of the dead".
Well that's your personal interpretation.

Daniel 12.2

2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
The destroyed can not suffer everlasting contempt so clearly, you are wrong. I choose to believe Prophet Daniel

I can only quote what the bible says, Unlike you, I don't add or subtract. The bible never mentioned we would be raptured to heaven rather, it says on that day we would all stand and be judged and the righteous would enter heaven and the wicked cast away. I am ok with what the bible says why should I add some action film to it?

You don't have any bible reference that says Christians would be raptured to heaven. You clearly quoted lots of bible but your references only ended up with Christians getting to the air and cloud and nothing beyond that.

Slave keh? On top joint funds. She's an equal stakeholder jare, and it's obvious the man bought the car without her consent first sought and obtained.
we are not praising the man for that. But the woman's decision shows the kind of person she is in the first place. I have a friend who wasted his entire house rent on gambling. This was money raised by him and his wife. It was very sad and crazy. But the wife valued their relationship over money. Today he no more gambles. They are still together. That's what we call a wife, not these modern girls that think money defines everything. Sorry if I sound old school but that's the way I was brought up.

The money they both raised. I hope you meet your match
How do you know I am not happily married for more than 10 years now? The woman only divorced because the man refused to do her bidding. She had so many other options.
1. She could have forgiven and started saving up for the house.
2. She could have demanded her part of the money and made the man pay it back.
3. She could have enjoyed the car with him and be happy with his decision.
She chose divorce this tells us the kind of person she is. Money is not more important than relationships. We let money go to keep relationships. I hope you meet someone who takes his relationship with you over money.

A big congrats to the man. If I was the man I would be happy to finally get rid of such a wife. What makes her think that her husband must do what she wants at all times? Is he her slave? The man probably bought the car to feel liberated from her.

He was a powerful guardian angel to the Israelites. They don't even know him.

The Isaiah and Psalm verses are prophecies about Jesus.
You cant make prophecies unless it is revealed. Jesus was revealed to them of old just as he is revealed to us. Also note, that Isaiah called him God, and father. David called him Lord, and Daniel called him the Son of God. He meant more than a guardian angel. He was their Lord, God, and son of God.

If David did not know him, he would never call him his Lord. Jesus was his Lord Just as he is your Lord.

To David, Jesus Christ was his Lord; Psalm 110 The LORD said unto my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

To Isaiah; For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Daniel 3:25; He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

To the faithful in times of old, Jesus Christ was known and he meant the very same as he means to the faithful today. He was their salvation just as he is our salvation. They Knew him and worshiped him and made sacrifices to him.

Now what about Revelations 20:14, how could hell and earth born in a literal fire?

Did you see in Mathew 13:42 that Jesus talking about his kingdom on earth?
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Question; Explain this verse... Revelation 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Question; What is death and what is hell?

Where does the Bible say every believer will enter the kingdom? I don't get you, I never indicated this. On the contrary, only believers who are faithful and abound in his Commandments would enter the Kingdom.

Everyone in the kingdom are saved already.

Where did Godhead indicate the plurality of God? Have you checked the meaning of "Godhead"? It's not in anyway plural. The bible teaches that there are Gods many. The Godhead indicates leadership of the Gods.

Colossians 2:9
[9]For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.

Colossians 2:9
[9]For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Again this teaches you that Christ was the Bodily representative of the Godhead.

Some translation used God, some used Deity while the others used Godhead. Many translations say different things. I am only explaining to you what the Godhead means.

I understand that Mormons or members of church of Jesus Christ latter day saints don't believe in trinity but what they believe in is not very different from trinity.
Every Church has its own beliefs and I would love to discuss with Mormon missionaries on Nairaland.

The kingdom of God was meant for the Israelites but because of their unbelief, gentiles are now taking their positions in the kingdom.
Yes, those in the lake of fire would be in a state of regret is that the point you are trying to make? Yes, many of the Israelites would regret it when they don't make the kingdom and are found in hell. so in a way, you are right that was why Jesus Christ also told them;

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
They would not be destroyed rather, they shall witness Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Lake of fire symbolises eternal destruction. You know when something cease to exist. Not true.
Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. If one ceases to exist, there cannot be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

MATTHEW 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Note again, our spirits never die.

What's the difference between Godhead and God?
What's the difference between god, God and GOD?
The Godhead indicates a plurality of Gods and leadership at the top. The bible indicates that Christ is a member of the Godhead. Biblically, the is no difference between god and God. Remember, In ancient Greek writings, only upper case was used. The lower case letters were gradually developed by Christian scribes in monasteries.

God's Word teaches that the Rapture (Commonly referred to as the first phase or stage of the 2nd Coming of Christ) is the taking away from the earth, of all living saints and all who died in the Lord. The Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation and can happen any time from now.

"In a twinkling of an eye" without a moment's warning, "the trumpet shall sound" "and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (John 14:1-3; Luke 21:34-36; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 5:4-9; 2 Thessalonians 2:5-7; Philippians 3:11, 20,21; 1 John 3:1-3).
we shall meet in the cloud, and in the air not in heaven. Stop adding to the word.
It is not my personal opinion it is what the Bible teaches and I have given you bible references to buttress my point. It is up to you to either believe the Scriptures or deny it. The Bible teaches that the rapture is the greatest event of all ages that the Church is waiting for. Like I said, it is the catching away of all true believers in Christ to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
But we read the verse, it says nothing about Christians ascending into heaven nah. You are the one adding that.

Are you denying that Enoch and Elijah were not translated in a moment (Genesis 5:24; 2 Kings 2:11,12)? Or are those verses not part of your Bible? huh
I am not denying that a few people have been taken up into heaven. That is not the point here. I am only saying that no single verse of scripture prophesied such happening to the church as a whole. Only 2 dead prophets spoken about in revelations would be ascended to heaven.

If Jesus promised His 'Bride' that He is going to prepare a place for us and is coming back to take His 'Bride' to be with Him forever. Where do you think this place is located and why would you think the Church would go through Jacob's Trouble? (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11). A few things here, no one says the righteous would not go to heaven only that it wouldn't be through a rapture but rather after a final judgment on the last day.

The Bible also says that my people perish because of ignorance.
We both agree here. It is ignorance to add to bible verses.

What do you know about the revealed word of God? If the 2 prophets were caught up to heaven then what stops the Church from being raptured? The truth of the rapture was veiled to the saints of old but known unto God are all His works from the foundation of the earth. God, in His mercy interrupted His programme for Israel with the interpolation of the Church Age. God will resume His programme with Israel immediately after the rapture, thereby ushering in the beginning of the 70th week in Daniel's prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27). The bible is the revealed word. As long as the Lord speaks only of 2 prophets, adding new people to the list is called false doctrine. Its a sin to add or subtract from God's words

Revelation 20:14
[14]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Is hell and death something that could be cast and burn in fire?
Or does the lake of fire symbolise something else?
Hell symbolizes a state of regret and suffering. It's outer darkness, away from the presence and glory of God.
Christians don't agree on hellfire because they don't agree on anything.
It's hard to see any two churches that agree on the same points of doctrine.
But from the bible, we learn that hell is the final state of all sinners.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

OLAADEGBU:
And I don't think you understood those verses to see how they all relate to the universal rapture for the righteous. The rapture is the first phase of the Second Coming of Christ.
That's your personal opinion not the word of God.

What is the point of meeting Christ in the air if they will not go up to heaven to be with the Lord? Enoch and Elijah are examples of those who did not taste death but were caught up in the air in a moment. (Genesis 5:24; 2 Kings 2:11,12).
It's not up to you to add to the bible. The scripture says they would meet in the sky and no more. As Christians, we do not assume. No need to write another bible just to suit a particular dictrine.

So you didn't see how this verse illustrated the rapture in the N.T.? Jesus died, was buried, bodily resurrected and while He communicated with His disciples on Mount Olivet, He was taken up, caught up (raptured) in the air (Acts 1:9-11)? Do you think Jesus is still in the air or hear on earth and not gone to heaven? We all know Jesus went to heaven but he never said we also would rapture to heaven that was your addition. rather, we would go to heaven after judgment.

The rapture was not only a mystery to the O.T. prophets but to uninformed believers and unbelievers alike. The rapture is surely a mystery to the world but not to informed believers in Christ. Christ the Messiah came for His people but the rejected Him (John 1:11), and God turned to the Gentiles to take a people for Himself. It is just a pity that some uninformed believers and the world at present are ignorant to the truth that the rapture will mark the end of this special period of grace. The rapture is neither a Christain doctrine nor is it biblical.

Following your line of thought, why would you believe the 2 prophets would rise to heaven if you think that the Church is only resurrected and changed to stay in the air and here on earth? undecided It's not about what I believe or my line of thought. It's about the revealed word. We were clearly told that 2 dead prophets would be taken up to heaven, not the entire Christain world. The latter part is your addition to the bible. Do you understand?

Being saved is as simple as A, B, C

1.A- Admit that you're a sinner
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Your sin is what Separates you from the Holy GOD.

2. B- Believe the Lord JESUS.
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You need to Believe who JESUS is.
You need to Believe that HE is the son of GOD, sent down to the world to take the Penalty for your sins.

3. C- Confess the LORD JESUS
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You need to Confess that JESUS is LORD.

Be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost
