It depends on how far you go in human history. the US is not the first world power but the best so far. remember not too long ago, the USSR was a world power, you could research their atrocities in eastern Europe. The US is not perfect but they have been at the forefront of real change, global peace, and the rights of man than any other country in the world and they have the receipts to prove it.
They have liberated more countries than any other nation. They have been more of a positive force in the world.

If you know your history, you would know that the US became Israel's main source of weapons after the 1967 six days war. Isreal proved itself from 1948 to 1967 without the US on their side. The Arab world with oil and bigger armies could not overcome little Israel

Russia would not invade Ukraine. they already have all they want. Don't you see, it's the end game here. It's over Putin won.

Now you don't understand how these things work. let me explain.
1. Russia supplies 10% of the global oil
2. Russia supplies more than 30% of Europes oil imports
3. It also supplies more than 60% of Germany's oil.
4. It already has 2 existing gas pipelines to Europe, not counting Nord stream 2.
There would be an international energy crisis if Russia currently stops selling oil. The US knows this hence they can't stop Russia from selling oil.
It would send many dependent EU economies into reccesion.
Stopping Nord stream 2 would reduce Russian supply to Europe hence increasing the price and demand for more Russian oil and gas.
Its simple economies, reduce the amount of oil in the market and make more money from increasing demand.
Europe is too dependent on Russia for oil and gas.
No EU country is ready to destroy its economy just to make Ukraine happy.

Russia holds the aces that is why Putin is so bold. He is not the fool here, Biden is.

Ukraine has just lost its eastern provinces and the price of oil is about to go up thanks to new santions. Russia is about to get richer from oil.
Ukraine offers zero economic value to the US. but the US citizens would suffer because of Ukraine. Gas prices would go up and inflation would keep growing.
In the last 30 years, almost everywhere the US had intervened has ended in disaster. Don't you ever learn from your mistakes?

Finally, the US has no business in Ukraine. It's not as if US intervention was any Good to Ukraine or Afghanistan or libya. Or even Iraq. Mention any place that the US army intervened in the last 30 years that is now a great place to visit.
