Till date I do not understand what is actually wrong here..For instance,The NDDC&NNPC gives MSc&PhD scholarship to Nigerians so as to boost self reliance in petroleum engineering and the likes
I wonder what goes on in other sectors..I bliv if at least each arm of the military sidelines about 10% of its budget into growing its respective projects..a bit of turnaround will set in
Exactly. You know what I feel like there is someone at the top who prefers Nigeria buying her military hardware so he or she can see something to take from it than the government investing in talented Nigerians for us to be able to manufacture and produce to other countries. I actually think the root of this issue is corruption.

They should give a roll call of the women and children killed.

As far we know it nobody in Lagos or Ogun is complaining of missing family members as a result of the military action.
God bless you.

We challenge the military to share with the public the militants killed in the so-called sir strike We are very sure they won’t share the images of militants killed because non was killed except innocent women and children.

Every sane person know that 99% of those shelled in the operation were yoruba women and children. The remaining 1% are ordinary bunkerers, Agberoes and unfortunate fishermen.

This is why Americans have it made a crime against humanity to supply the murderous fulani-led muslim Army with lethal weapons through the well-thought out Leahy act.
Are you pained?

if I have military friends? I come from a military family. Secondly I will mention some here for you. Deathmachine nigerdeltaboi bidexii. The military will bring down the militants in their own arena. That is why we have got navy .

Are u happy with the way 9ja is?
Mr man Nigerian military ain't afraid of the creek. Let their CIC give the order and you will see your coward militants surrending live on national TV.

They have severely instructed NA to come to the Creeks, only if they want to die
The Nigerian army will be willing to visit the creek with the navy and Airforce leading the way.
Then after doing all this, we will provide you a private jet to amnesty international for dealing with militants or innocent school childrens as you will call it or probably give you enough data to come on nairaland and let us know how the Nigerian military killed innocent people.

Man, as Africans we need to rely task ourselves and get building a significant portion of the equipment we use in defence. I mean, look at Chile, a country of only 18 million people( Lagos State in Nigeria has a larger population than the entire Chile), building massive size ships for their navy.

The best part is, they aren't trying to re-invent any wheel. They are building German Ships from Fassmer, under license in Chile, and are also exporting same Ships to countries such as Colombia. In Indonesia, their shipbuilding company partnered with Damen of the Netherlands to build Frigates in-country.

I find it unfortunate that these countries, although they have some advantages in the number of years they've been independent and have very decent per capita are building ships such as the above, while in Nigeria, it takes the Nigerian Navy 4 years each to build, one(1) 31 meters Coastal patrol boat(CPV), One (1) 40 meters CPV and another 4 years to build 1 Tug boat. Culminatively 12 years to build 3 boats.

We really need to look at the methods we do things on this continent, Countries need to pull their weights as they are massively under-performing.

My 2 Kobo.
This is a nice write up. However, the countries you mentioned are countries who are willing to invest and improve her capability. These are countries ready to invest in R & D without minding the amount spent even tho it results into a failed project. First of all i do not know much about ships but i will take my own opinion on our aircraft. I take gulma UAV as something not too special. I have seen fellow Nigerian Aerospace students build much more advanced UAV and radar systems for their UAV's here in my school. Nigerian government should be able to invest in students like this and try reverse engineering with UAV, military jets and even radar systems. How much will it cost the government to buy a UAV for practical reasons.
International students are banned from using some labs and engineering centers in my school because Nigerian students were able to win their host in a particular aerospace engineering competition. I guessed that's why some of our jets were demilitarized so much to some extent.
Nigerians, we are really talented and I just hope the government can encourage us. We are really shining , doing our best but the government seems not to notice anything .

How stealthy is NNS centenary? It doesn't seem to negate right angles by its design which is one crucial criteria ?

I begin to ask myself, what is the work of our Policemen and Mobile policemen? They cannot face ordinary criminals involved in crude oil theft and pipeline destruction. The NSCDC was given arms to curb the menace of pipeline vandalism, still nothing to show for it. Na for law abiding civilian body them dey get power.

When you go to ADEKUNLE bus stop, you will see our Nigerian Police concentrating on the traffic light waiting for cars that will beat the light so they can arrest and collect money. A stolen car will pass by them with them noticing because they are all focused on the traffic light. Shame on the NIGERIAN POLICE.
Go to arepo and check if the police are not present. Go to the NE and check if CT dept are not there. stop typing when you really have no knowledge about something.
