I'm a huge fan of his. The man has been working in terms of development. That's my opinion tho but there are places where our politicians need to be criticized.

Those friends of yours must be core Ibadan indegenes.

I think what the police of DSS should do is to collect and harmonize data from INEC, NIMC, Banks (banks may refuse though), Immigration e.t.c. I think they would have the basic profile of more than 50% of the population when this is done. Then they can build from there. (my opinion).
You'll need banks data, passport, simcards, immigration , FRSC (driver's license) and others. I can bet it that the first state to have such large coverage in Nigeria will be Oyo state.

The state CCTV network which would start this year includes traffic CCTV cameras.

Ajimobi is working smiley

I'm no expert, but where is your database? You are gonna use facial recognition to find people whose's name isn't in any database, they have no ID cards, no passport, nothing. lol. And here we are talking about a country with very limited CCTV network. i guess you mistaken Nigeria for developed countries lol, heck, is there even electricity to power the system? lol. Just saying
Exactly bro, no passport and even the common simcard isn't registered.

Nigerian doesn't have a CCTV coverage sef except for privately owned ones.

Planes in general are fairly fragile when it comes to AA. Even the "flying tanks" like the A10, Su 25, and old IL2 are/were susceptible to good air defense. Don't let this persuade you that the Tucano will be easily shot down. With proper Intel the Tucano could kill the zsu truck from well out of range.
Exactly why it's fitted with precision guided rockets. NAF won't take a chance in letting those jets get downed by BHT.

Warthog is a fast moving aircraft with a high velocity Gatling gun , window of kill is very less and therefor the video gives a wrong impression And as far as I could see the target was hit in the first run itself 4 rounds hit the fast moving car , 2 rounds on the roof and 2 rounds on the bonnet. A mouse in there will be dead.
The 2nd run was unnecessary, guess the pilot just wanted practice or just wanted to make sure.

The Gatling gun is fired for very small duration 1-3 sec , the grouping was good , except the cloud of dust obscurated the view.

UAVs r slow moving and they use PGMs therefor their videos make things look easy.
Just observed the A-10 used its gattling gun. That summarize it all. Thanks.

If these guns can bring down the Su-25, I am wondering how the highly priced tucano will fare.
You can perform recon with the Tucano. So there will be situational awareness. However, Nigeria has the habbit of having dedicated ISR platform covering air operations

Struck twice and still couldn't precisely hit the target.
True. Nemesis4u what do you have to say about that? There are several videos of direct hit on moving targets so why is this so?

NAF has a direct hit on BHT vehicle which seems to be moving faster than this with the CH3.

Zeal to work. Most NPF lack that.

You need to see CTU and forget about any other unit in the Nigerian police. CTU is the most effective.

Facial recognition software for now needs more at, at least last i checked, you can't even use it to convict a suspect in US court, it's not admissible in court.
So basically you see a suspect on Camera, then use facial recog to scan database and get a match or two, that match isn't enough to say definitely it was the person in that database that was also seen on camera committing a crime, courts don't accept that for now, due to potential errors, but no doubt it's a leap in the right direction
Facial recognition would allow you arrest a suspect. You can try him at court wIth other evidences. The main aim is to locate, identify and arrest the suspect.

Bro, how is their data like? As in cost and volume of data allocated?
Here's what happened, I bought 1.5gb at the rate of 1,200 then another 1gb at 1,000 which unlocked the 8.5gb.

I don't really understand the data but to me, Etisalat data gets exhausted so fast.

I am an unconventional human being with a messed up mind and open to controversies I don't think the Police is up for me yet and I may have gone past their requirements.
It's a good thing. Your features will fit it for an intelligence officer. You can request for your own unit which will deal strictly on gathering Intel for NPF.

You can also lobby for funding to buy sophisticated equipments and then you'll be operating a mini FBI under the NPF.

PoliticsRe: Defend Yourselves Against Killer Herdsmen - Governor Ortom Tells Benue People by tdayof(m): 9:43am On Feb 07, 2018
The federal government should give state governors the total control of NSCDC. In as much as all armed security agencies in Nigeria are under the federal power they won't work the way they should.

If you can't give them state police then give them the power over NSCDC. governors would have deployed NSCDC to strategic areas. Men of the Nigerian civil defense corps are well trained and can easily be more equipped by state government according to the threats in the state.

I saw this coming and many more online startups are struggling to stay afloat. Please to the young entrepreneurs out there, I have an advice for you: Profits sustains business, not hype or noise. Profit in business is success, but unfortunately, the media tends to deceive a lot of people.

- Being the biggest, is not profit.
- Receive an award, is not profit.
- Being everywhere and spending millions in ads is not profit
- Raising $1million is not profit
- Signing up 1 million users in an hour is not profit
- Having 10million followers on FB or Twitter is not profit
- Rushing to establish presence in 40 countries is not profit

Nothing beats growing organically. If you need a proof to the above points, just look at Nairaland.com.
Experience in business have taught me not to be moved by vanity metrics. Just show me the money.
I know of a Nigerian company who was about to raise $5m from foreign investors but cancelled the deal later on due to the conditions attached to it. People said alot of things but man, raising $5m doesn't guarantee your company will be running in the next 3 years or making profit.

Alot of people just jump into it because of the money. Apparently, the guy made $7m in revenue in a year all by himself now. His target is x3 of that now.

The truth is, VCs can ruin your company. Sure they want to make money but being a professional doesn't mean they're perfect. You may be an economist or a marketing strategy planner but you sure do not understand the market up to a formidable founder.

People should stop jumping into investments. If you're not making profits then it's not making sense.
