I agree. An increase in range will automatically remove the need for foreign made UAS.

The picture clarity of this UAV is very incredible. If you followed the live streaming, you would have been amazed.

Flying at 5,000FT the images were so good.
Couldn't keep up with the live streaming as I was busy. I'll check on YouTube tonight through NTA.

Does it posses ground moving targets indicator?

Improvements on this UAV especially in extending its range will nullify the need to buy foreign UAVS. We can now concentrate on UCAV.

Good one NAF.

tdayof Ur company involved in the new drone GCS wink
No. At all,

here's a peak into our specifications. I don't have a full picture on me. We have just concluded fluid analysis. Plus, we've got our EO pod already. It's from a Latvia company and we've made sure it fits into our requirements. Video feeds makes NAF pod look like a game grin It took alot of paise but after all, all we want is a standard UAV. We're not doing for developmental purpose as we hope to target some African countries for sales.

Delay goes to equipments procurements such as autoclave and others for the fuselage designs as the plan is to have it all done here. Once it's been delivered then work will start on manufacturing and assembly.

Our GCS is being handled by a Chinese company. That deal was concluded already since mid 2016. They actually manufacture UAV too and also GCS systems.

Plus this whole thing took away a semester out of my academic calendar.Been in NG for months. I'll be having a busy schedule next semester to write more exams.

Edit : seems like the first time I'll be posting a picture of how the UAV will look like. I'll attach the final design CAD anytime I have it transferred to my phone.

Like I said, it's not the conventional UAV design. We're making use of the patented RAM coating. I remember a lecturer who's also an AVIC worker telling me the best I can do is to sell as my country might not be able to utilize it and he was ready to purchase and we transfer the patent right.

Armament will be handled by NAF.

Troops directly under DHQ are being used for DHQ led Operations. Apart from AFSF, any idea if there's another unit directly under DHQ?

not trying to spoil the fun but.... it seems its the same UAV system just being renamed. Amebo > Gulma > now this

tdayo?
In my opinion, all these UAV being designed by NAF have similar designs.

What I feel they did is to have UAV with same design but different sizes /engines and sensors and then name then differently..

Eg J-11, J-15 , J-16.

Congratulations to the Nigerian airforce but it took them too long o.

To her, it's more than making profit with a birthday party. The amount spent in organizing the whole thing isn't something small.

Please this people should boldly tell us who they are. Herdsmen in gun duel with the police? This is seriously serious
Ever wondered why terrorist kill alot of soldiers during ambush? These guys shoot sporadically. No tactics and you should take note that they come in large number.

That's the same problem with herdsmen and bokoharam. They spread out and at times they get killed by friendly fire due to their method of attack. As a police man or military personnel, you try to be tactical and take cover because your life is more precious than dying.

Lagos State debt goes to her projects. Once they're done, she'll be able to reduce her debt profile.

Why do you think the United States is in a very huge debt?

smh............ is that how china and japan became world leaders in science and technology?
There's an issue of educational inequality in the People's Republic of China.

This is not a tribal issue. Njgerians should realize this law is only applicable to state owned institutions therefore they have the right. That's why we have federal universities.

You think I'm your mate that is seeking admission into school?

That's very possible. Politicians usually don't care about feedback from people before making stupid laws. But as a taxpayer that pays millions of naira in taxes to the Lagos State Govt every year, I have the right to air my opinions on this law.
grin grin grin

Mate? A typical Nigerian trying to show off his character. grin

It's not a stupid law. Government owned universities in foreign countries also have laws that do not fit in for all citizens.

What a backward and retrogressive law.
How is it backward? Must you seek admission into state owned universities in Lagos? If you're not satisfied then find another choice.

It's not like LASG give a damn about your opinion.
