TeeGentle:

The two men's job was to wash people's clothes. They would take people's clothes from their houses, wash them in the river, and deliver them at sunset after drying .
One of them was a faithful and honest man, and if he sometimes found coins or money in people's pockets, he would put it aside to deliver it to its owner at night.
But the other man was not like that, and if he found a coin that the rich man owned, he would not return it.
One day the faithful and honest man found a coin in the pocket of a customer's trousers, which belonged to a rich man.
When he returned the coin overnight with the clothes, the owner of the clothes gave him a big reward with which he was able to buy a small house.
The other man decided to do something after what happened to his friend. One day, a rich man gave him a trousers, and when the man returned it, he put a coin in his trousers pocket and said to the owner of the trousers, "You forgot this coin ..." so that he, too, could receive a reward.
But the story was reversed. When he handed over the coin, the rich man grabbed his wrist and said, "I lost ten coins. You gave one and I made sure the rest was left in my trousers.
You have to give the rest ...". From that man he complained and instead of giving rewards, he was sent to prison for theft .
The honest man said to his friend when he separated, "Never be hypocritical and pretend to do good deeds, know that if you do not do good deeds for Allah, it will become evil for you and cause you problems."
Yes; If a person does #good_deeds for the sake of Allah and with good intentions, he will receive the reward of this world and the hereafter, but if he does good deeds for the sake of hypocrisy and worldly intentions, etc., this good deed will have no value.
That is why Allah has condemned those who do good deeds for material or hypocritical purposes.
#Allah says: "Indeed Allah does not like anyone who is a swaggering braggart … those who spend their wealth to be seen by people, and believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day (the Day of Judgment)."
(Quran, 4, 36-38)
The above verses indicate that hypocrisy is one of the characteristics of arrogant and proud people, and if good deeds are done with ungodly intentions and hypocrisy, it will have no value and the effects of good deeds will not be arranged on it.

TeeGentle:

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulullah.

Dear Muslims Ummah, If you have been sick and suffering as a Muslim, sure it is not easy. But know in your mind and believe in your heart that it is indeed better for you. For, if you bear patiently, it will be a means of expiation for your sins and a source of great reward if not here on earth then Paradise await us in sha Allah.

The Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: 'There is nothing that befalls a believer, not even a thorn that pricks him, but ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) will record one good deed for him and will remove one bad deed from their sins.' ~[Narrated By Imam Muslim]

If ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) took away a dear, loved one from your life, believe, from the bottom of your heart, that surely this was better for you because nothing happens to a believer except as a way of purifying us towards Paradise.

As ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) says in Qur'an: O you who believe! Endure and be more patient..".
[Qur'an, 3:200]

And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best.

May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) out of his bountiness use his unique Rahma to grant Shifa'a for all our muslims brother and sister who's #Sick. Aameen.

May ALLAH grant us more wisdom to understand His trials on us. #Aameen.

Islam for Muslims / Re: A Great Gift To The Daughter Of Prophet And Lessons To All Muslims by Techreliance(m): 3:07pm On Oct 14, 2022
Lukgaf:
When the queen of Jannah and the most beloved daughter of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), went to live with her husband, Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu), her respected father, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), outlined the tasks and distributed their responsibilities. He assigned all affairs outside the home to Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and made Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) responsible of taking care of the home. (Musannaf Ibni Abi Shaibah #29677)

Complying with this instruction, Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) would diligently carry out the household chores by herself without the assistance of a servant. The difficulty she underwent was such that her hands became rough on account of her grinding the grain with the hand-mill, she had marks on her neck due to fetching the water and carrying it from the well, her clothes became dusty because of sweeping the house and her face began to change (in colour) as a result of (the heat of the fire when) baking bread.

Therefore, on one occasion, when Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) received some captives, Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) asked Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) to go to her father and request him for a slave that will assist her in carrying out these chores.

Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) thus went to the home of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) to request him for a slave. However, on reaching there, she found that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) was not at home, but was rather busy speaking to some people elsewhere. When Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) returned home, ‘Aaishah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) informed him that Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) had come to visit him while he was away.

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) proceeded to the home of Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) and reached there whilst they were preparing to sleep. They had already lay down and placed a sheet over themselves, which was so small that it could not cover them completely. If they placed it vertically, their sides would be uncovered and if they spread it horizontally, their head and feet would be exposed. As Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) entered, they immediately began waking up. However, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) instructed them to remain lying down and he instead came and sat close to them.

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) then asked Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), “I have been informed that you had come, so (tell me) what do you need?” Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) was overcome with shyness and did not reply. Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) thus responded, “O Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), I shall inform you.” He then explained the difficulties that she was undergoing in carrying out the domestic chores and said, “So, when the slaves had come to you, I told her to approach you and request a slave from you who will assist her in the difficulty she is enduring.”

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) asked Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), “So, is that which you came to request (i.e. a slave) more beloved to you or something which is better than it (which I will inform you about)?” Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anhua) was probably still overcome with shyness and could not reply. Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) nudged her and told her to reply, “That which is better is more beloved to me.”

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) thereafter addressed his beloved daughter in the following words, “O Faatimah! Fear Allah, fulfill the obligations of your Rabb and do the work of your family.” In another narration he mentioned, “Be patient O Faatimah! Undoubtedly, the best of women is the one who benefits her family.”

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) then taught them to recite 33 times “subhaanallah”, 33 times “alhamdulillaah” and 34 times “Allahu Akbar” when retiring to bed, and he informed them that this was better for them than getting a servant. On receiving this ‘gift’ from her respected father, Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) responded, “I am happy with Allah and His Rasul (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam).”

When narrating this incident many years later, ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) mentioned that he never left out reciting these words since that time. Someone then asked him, “Not even on the night of Siffeen (which was a very severe battle)?” Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) replied, “Not even on the night of Siffeen.”

(Saheeh Bukhaari #6318, Sunan Abi Dawood #2988 and Fat-hul Baari)

Lessons:

1. For any administration to run smoothly and function efficiently, there has to be fixed responsibilities and tasks allocated to different members, since ‘everyone trying to do everything’ will definitely result in chaos. Similarly, for the home to be effective in fulfilling its critical role of being a source of comfort and solace for the household members and of bringing up and nurturing upright individuals, the husband and wife will have to fulfill their roles. These roles cannot be decided by the spouses, rather they will be exactly the same roles that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) had fixed for his daughter and son-in-law.

2. Taking care of the home and carrying out domestic chores is not below the dignity of a woman. Despite the greatness, honour and dignity of Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), she patiently endured the great difficulties in fulfilling her responsibility. In fact, if a woman does this with the correct intention, she will be greatly rewarded for it as well.

3. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) always shifted the attention of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) from material possessions to aspects relating to the Hereafter. Hence, instead of giving his daughter a slave, he granted her a special gift which was far better and much more beneficial for her. Such was the level of her disinterest in the world and focus on the Hereafter, that she immediately expressed great happiness and pleasure at this.

4. If a person recites this tasbeeh every night, then together with the great rewards that he will earn, he will find his tasks easier to accomplish and he will not feel overburdened by his work, although he may still experience tiredness. (Fat-hul Baari)

5. A great quality of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) was that they would hold very firmly to the teachings of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) for the rest of their lives and would never leave it out. Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) was so punctual on reciting this tasbeeh, that he did not even leave it out on the night of the very severe battle of Siffeen, in which he was the commander of the army.

Just to imagine the stress that I am putting you through this wee hours of the morning is nerve-cracking.

Imagine all the work, not only you, but the rest of you have to do to defend your quran hahahahahahahahahhaha

You just can't use the quran to defend it. You are using the Bible, not to defend but to deflect from the tangible matter at hand.

This delusional me is inecstasy that you come to see the holes in your standard narrative straight from the quran itself.

With all these that you are listing, is the goal to balance the accusation or to level up the crime that allah committed, or what is it?

what is the relevance? I asked you a question on the quran and your rescue plan or defense armory is still the Bible.

Can't you see delusion there?

Let's make it simple. Surah 18:60 And ˹remember˺ when Moses said to his young assistant, “I will never give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I travel for ages.”

Where are these seas located?

Islam for Muslims / Re: Some Benefits Of Tahajjud Prayers by Techreliance(m): 10:35am On Jun 03, 2022
TeeGentle:
If there is something you want in life and you are not praying tahajjud for it you don't really want it." — Shaykh Yasir Qadhi

''The Dua made at tahajjud is like an arrow that does not miss its target.'' — Imaam Ash Shafi (RA)

Get up to pray in the dark when all are asleep and see how your path is lit and your life begins to shine. (Tahajjud)

Many people talk about Allah but very few talk to Allah. Bring Tahajjud and Du’a into your life and talk to Him.

If there is something you want to ask Allah, start praying tahajjud.

Tahajjud time is on even 15 mins before fajr so if you are a heavy sleeper you should try waking up atleast 20 mins before fajr and offer tahajjud.

Raise your hands in dua in tahajjud + be #consistent, Allah loves hearing our duas.

Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said,

"The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer." [Sahih Muslim]

#Benefits of #Tahajjud (The Night Prayer):

1 - Implementing the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alayhi was sallam) which he never use to miss.

2 - A way of getting your Dua's accepted.

3 - A way of getting your sins forgiven.

4 - By performing it, it will bring light to your face and soul.

5 - It helps you fight your desires.

6 - It makes you closer to Allah .

7 - It builds the love of the Hereafter in your heart.

8 - It softens the heart and humbles you in front of Allah .

9 - It strengthens the Qur’an that you have memorized.

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radiallahu anhu): Allah’s Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, “Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?” [Bukhari]

Spread the knowledge so it will be Sadqa-e-Jaaria (everlasting charity) for you In Shaa Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever directs someone to a good, then he will have the reward equal to the doer of the action.” [Muslim 1893]

May Allah (SWT) increase our Imaan...

Below are some of the Quran verses that affirm tolerance and forbid unjust killings toward non-Muslims.

“[w]hoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one is as if he had saved mankind entirely.”
(Suratul Maidah verse 32)

“And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."
(Suratul An'am verse 151)

“There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong.”
(Suratul Baqorah)

“And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.”
(Suratul Al-Anfal verse 61)

“O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.”
(Suratul Maidah verse 8 )

“Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.”
(Suratul Maidah verse 69)

I assume we know about the reward of fasting six days of Shawwaal after Ramadan with reward equivalent to fasting a whole year. You can read more here:

https://www.nairaland.com/7112727/fasting-six-days-shawwaal-after#112565692

What about people who missed some fasts during Ramadan? Are they going to fast the six first or the missed fasts?

If they want to earn the reward mentioned in the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “Whoever fasts Ramadaan then follows it with six days of Shawwaal, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime”

(reported by Muslim, no. 1984), then they should complete thier Ramadaan fasts first, then follow it with six days of Shawwaal, so that the hadeeth with be applicable to them too, and they will gain the reward mentioned in it.

And Allah knows best

Islam for Muslims / Re: Delaying Having Children In Order To Be Able To Study by Techreliance(m): 11:35am On Apr 22, 2022

Delaying having children in order to be able to study - Shayk (Dr) Sharaffudeen Gbadebo Raji

Question
If a brother and a sister are legally married but do not wish to bear children (at the moment), how can they go about it?

Answer
Dr Sharof: Why is it that they do not want to have children?

The Congregation: Because of their studies.

Dr Sharof: We seek refuge with Allaah! They should start bearing children with immediate effect. They should stop deceiving themselves. If they continue that way, Allaah may decide to delay them whenever they are ready to start bearing children. Such thing had happened to (many) people; they suffer unnecessary delay at the time they decide to start bearing children. There are situations whereby the brother may be ready to start bearing children, but the sister may say her career will be ruined. They target times when the sister will be on leave or when she will be on holidays for those who are still schooling before she gets pregnant, so that she gives birth during these periods. However, in this case, their decision is to restrain from it because of the sister’s career. The harm with this is that they will have to bite the bullet, especially the sister. Men have a lot of options; if he discovers that you have a problem (with bearing children) he can easily marry a new wife. Na’am!

As for their question regarding what they could do to avoid bearing children, there is no answer to such question. They should start bearing children. Na’am!

Islam for Muslims / Re: Suggested Time-table And Routine For Ramadan by Techreliance(m): 2:07pm On Apr 08, 2022
Lukgaf:
In sha Allah, Ramadan is starting tomorrow or Sunday. May Allah count us among those that will witness the glorious month in peace, wealth and sound health (Ameen). Part of the preparation towards the glorious month is to highlight good deeds that could be done in advance of the month with the aim of drawing maximum benefits from Allah. In essence, it is recommended to set a routine or timetable.

Below presentation adapted from Darul Ihsan offers a practical and suggested routine that one may adopt during Ramadan. This guide is to help one fetch greater reward in the month

N.B: This is however just a suggestion. You may plan your time personally or independently of the above. The aim is only to fetch maximum rewards during the month
1. Eat Sohur

Partake in the early morning meal (Sohur). This is a Sunnah practice that contains abundant blessings and rewards. The Prophet (May peace be upon him) said, "Eat Suhor, because in it, lies great blessings" (Bukhari, Muslim).

2. Observe Tahajjud

Plan your time in such a way that you are able to perform 4-8 Rakahs of Tahajjud and make Dua during this time. The Prophet (May peace be upon him) said "The Dua in the darkness of the night (after performing Tahajjud) is readily accepted by Allah" (Tirmdhi).

3. Observe Fajr

Perform Fajr Salah with congregation at the Masjid and recite morning Adhkars. Participate in the lesson or talks conducted in the Masjid with the intention to seek beneficial knowledge and practice. Engage in Dhikr till sunrise.

4. Perform Ishraq

Avoid sleeping immediately after fajr and engage in Quran recitation. Perform 4 Rakahs Ishraq after sunsine. One may then sleep thereafter.

5. Sunnah of Duha and Zawwal

When the sun is brightly up, perform 4 Rakahs Duha and after Zawwal, perform 4 Rakahs Sunnah of Zawwal

6. Dua at the time of Zawwal

Take a few moments to make dua at the time of Zawwal as this is also recorded as a time of acceptance.

7. Observe Zuhr

Perform Zuhr in congregation. If possible, allocate few minutes to engage in Quran recitation. Participate in any educational program taking place (like Tafseer). Have a short rest with the intention of the afternoon sleep which is Sunnah (Islam is beautiful).

8. Observe Asr

Perform Asr in congregation. The time between between Asr and Magrib is very valuable especially for recitation of Quran. If possible, remain in the the Masjid till Magrib. The time close to iftar is a time when duas are accepted. Attend Tafseer. Sisters should you use this time to prepare what we are going to eat in Iftor grin.

9. Observe Magrib

Observe Magrib in congregation. Before or after meals, read from virtues of Ramadan or other useful literature. Prepare for Ishai and Tarawiyy.

10. Observe Ishai

Make sure you perform Ishai and Tarawiyy in congregation.

11. After Tarawiyy

Avoid wasting time and hanging out with friends e.t.c. Read your Quran.

Darul ihsan

jazzakaLlahu kair brotherly, may Allah grant us the abilities to carry out the activities that will be accepted.
