Awww, @thesilent1, I was commending the poetic gift above; but I was somewhat commenting on lines like this one: eesaah:Try tessellating that with Qur'an 19:71 and see my concerns. ![]() |
Horus:Exactly. I've heard that chant one too many times from your black racist group - although the chant has now been replaced by something more sophisticated! ![]() |
MIZIEYA:When measuring backwards, you mean? I'm not surprised. ![]() MIZIEYA:It was a simply question, dude. Now you got bitten. Point was simply this: if it ok to misread issues from the Bible, then it shouldn't rile your guts when the same rule of thumb is applied to YOU! |
nyabinghi:Right. Let me remind you of 4 issues about the Qur'an that informs your vexations against the Bible. #1. (a) If the Bible is not a true Book, which Torah and Injil did Allah claim he sent down before the Qur'an? (b) Further, was Muhammad making a comical claim to have asserted that Muslims should believe in ALL the previous revelations and the Biblical prophets? (c) Where in the Qur'an was the Bible ever condemned the way Muslims today claim - and as you have also claimed by rote here? #2. Are you aware that the Qur'an has been revised and editted to produce the present political redaction from the third Caliph Uthman, who subsequently ORDERED that all the other extant copies be burnt (to hide the fact the there were different Qur'ans in his day)? (b) Why did Allah not stop Uthman's ORDER? (c) What about the divine editing work by the Muslim Allah who cancelled out several verses of the Qur'an; and those which still survive today are now known as ABROGATED verses? #3. Aside the fact that Muhammad plagiarized most of the Biblical narratives, not only did he reconstruct the narratives to hide truth from Muslims; but he also contradicts himself in several of the Qur'anic verses, as is obvious from a careful study of both the Qur'an and the Hadiths. #4. Pornography, you said? Here are a few things you should note: (a) when Muslim apologists deride the Bible because they are phobic to the Song of Songs by Solomon, they forget that it was the same Allah in the Qur'an who acknowledged and praised Solomon's status in the same connection. (b) I have run a check in both the Qur'an and Hadiths; and believe me, you won't want me to post here the very explicit X-rated adventures of Muhammad and his companions in both sources. (c) Even today, the seeds sown in both the Qur'an and the Hadiths is the basis for the Hudood Laws in Pakistan (a Muslim country), where rape victims are punished for their innocence; it is the same Qur'an and Hadith that form the foundation for the case of suckling practiced among Muslims in Muhammad's day (and Allah saw no sin in them); and it is the same Qur'an that gives the basis for the temporary marriages where Muslim men can fornicate as much as they want - and both Muhammad and Allah saw nothing wrong in such acts. My dear nyanbinghi, I've only given you the outlines. Call them appetizers. If you simply ask, then I'll serve the main course meal by explicating them neatly with both verses from the Qur'an and Hadiths, tafsirs (commentaries on the Qur'an); as well as historical antecedents. Please just click and ask; and like I said to bab787, I'll gladly oblige you guys with facts, evidence, maps, pictures, and statistics. You don't try your rascal behaviour around me. ![]() |
Lol, I was teasing. ![]() But then, your input in simple terms establishes a fundamental truth found in Romans 13; and stimulus has well argued the case earlier, strating from here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-26936.128.html#msg1038964 |
Horus:I know English is not your mothertongue; but doesn't your question simply suggest that they were cupping your blood before the invention of those terminologies? And especially your black racist group - they still do it today, you know! ![]() |
@MIZIEYA, Good job at a demonstration of empty puff. If you're male, then I wonder if one ever reads that the love you have for your Dad or brothers could be translated as Homosexual and sodomy? It's easy to cheat your readers by trying to make it appear so, as in the case between David and Jonathan; but your low IQ is not surprising at all. ![]() |
@nyanbinghi, It's easy to applaud low IQs because you haven't been able to hold your tuff. Just for referral, when it comes down to it, Muhammad didn't have to wait until the 16th or 17th centuries in England before he did explicitly worse things than your adulator has attempted to drivel earlier. If we apply the same rule of thumb for every case that we find the same words in the English Qur'an, then it only would make a monumental case for the beast that Muhammad was. Fair enough? If this makes you upset, then try not closer your brains to reason when you reads cheats making up silly articles in order to pepper your antics. Just dare me, and you'll read stuff from both the Qur'an, the Hadith, and the ijma that portray Muhammad for what only a few people know. I have held my cool up until now; but you can prompt me to school you up on the REAL Muhammad by just the click of a botton. Make a wish. ![]() |
Po Deep:No, the counter argument is that Christians should not have been killed, or rather refused to die from stray bullets in WWII in order to prove that Christianity has nothing to do with civil governments. ![]() |
@jerrymania, jerrymania:You don't get sick and tired just for reading my debates - and those others whose names you mentioned. What you should do is open a hospital, not put up a TV show. But the TV show would be more welcome to televise your high temperature all the same. I've said it before: ignore whatever you feel bites you in any post. That is the reason why I read other motherboards (Politics, Sports, etc) and haven't made any inputs there. When I see something that might attract me hard enough, I'll make the august switch. ![]() |
@nyanbinghi, nyabinghi:I wait to see how the Qur'an said Muhammad was the Word. I also wait to see how Muhammad agreed with any verse of the Gospel of John. Laughable indeed. |
ajadrage:That's one more big lie in our times! ![]() |
Hmmm. I've tried to look into this topic and wonder if the Qur'an remotely suggests that it allows magic or charms. Haven't come across any. But it might be a different story when we look into the Hadiths. Many of us are familiar now with some of the hadiths that record Mhammad was under the influence of some migical powers at some point in his career. However, Qur'an and Hadiths may not suggest that Islam as a religion allows such practices. I only wonder where some 'Muslims' get the idea that soaking a page of the Qur'an in water and drinking it may have some supernatural powers. ![]() |
Okay. Maybe the women are not allowed to reveal their rewards. ![]() |
Lol. Okay, I promised to come back and 'donate' a Psalm - here it is:Psalm 113:2 & 3 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised. These two verses have always been my daily capsules to help me focus on choices that would honour God's Name rather than dishonour Him. It is not just a matter of keeping from sin; but a conscious, deliberate effort to apply myself to choices in my daily walk that cause God's Name to be praised and honoured in all I do. |
Perhaps, not mentioning it might be part of the same Qisas! ![]() |
@eesaah, eesaah:Quite poetic - a great gift you've got. However, wouldn't it have been somewhat more illuminating if the victim tried to escape the decreed hell prescribed for Muslims (Qur'an 19:71)? Just wondering. ![]() |
I continue to be much blessed by the several inputs in this thread. They help me see how we reason from various perspectives; especially this mystery about Melchizedek. As the topic asks: Who Was This Man? I'm still learning; and I doff my hat for the great teachers who have proffered answers here! ![]() |
Naaah! That's what he went to study in school! ![]() |
@thesilent1, thesilent1:Source: http://www.truthortradition.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=25 Good job. I trusted you'd do some justice to this topic. ![]() |
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
ajadrage:You actually made the inference that Aramaic was the Hebrew language spoken in the time of Jesus. It would be one and the same thing as if one should say: The Isoko language spoken in the time of Shagari is what is known as Itsekiri although not many people would bother as they may not know the huge difference between them. Aramaic and Hebrew are two distinct Semitic languages. |
redsun:In which case, we shouldn't be so narrow in our outlook on issues by complaining against one man. |
@TV01, I'm quite amused that the flavour of your response to sage's misanthropy failed to carefully consider his flawed premise. It only goes to demonstrate that not many people who use the word 'truth' actually care for what exactly it points to. Bottomline: WWII was not fought in the name of any god; much less in the name of Christ. If either you or sage care for a basic lesson on history, it would go a long way to resolving the knotted areas in your premises. Cheers. |
^^ * [ OOoops!! ![]() she's still online. I made a mistake. . . so back to the railway tracks!! https://bestsmileys.com/exercising/16.gif |
John 8:57-58 -- "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." Those verses speak volumes in simplicity to the point that even before the OT, Jesus always existed. This is what He meant by His emphatic "I am". |
ajadrage:Aramaic and Hebrew are TWO distinct languages. A good research cannot mix them up. ![]() |
mukina2:Okay, madam muki. I'll take my running shoes outside for now and go practice in the railway tracks. That might as well be a good spot to run in the dark until I'm really worked up! Em. . . let's see how the race will look like this time: https://bestsmileys.com/exercising/16.gif Oki-dokes! I'm away until you pity me enough to not ban me!! Enjoy! ![]() |
Horus:You don't have to sob. We've seen how low your IQ is - which is what feeds your black racist prejudice. ![]() You can recycle it again and again - that's what low mental retards do when they've run out of ideas. So, here again: I stand absolutely opposed to your black racist ideology as much as I have absolutely no respect for white racist sentiments. If you're a racist, especially a low black one, sob louder - your clan might come to your aid! ![]() |
Haba, oga pataks. . . the Bible says cover your head, abi? ![]() Do you want it to name the essentials (hair) before your understand what it's pointing to? Okay here is what I recommend: Tell the sisters to remove the hair first, tie their scarf on their head, before putting the hair back on the scarf! Abi that one no be innovation? ![]() |
