Horus:If I did, would you understand Hebrew? If you could understand Hebrew, why is it so difficult for you to proffer an answer to the question I have asked about WHEN the Hebrew numbering system began?? Why is it so difficult for you to face simple issues, Horus?? Is this this style of people who celebrate their own stylized "FACTS" while passing off their ignorance? Horus:I hear you. If you have any FACTS - please offer an answer to the question I have served you SEVERAL times. At least, I had to offer you an answer to show you how wrong you were about Arabs "inventing" the zero (0). If I was wrong, you would have come back pointing me to the lines where I got it wrong. Now in fair exchange, do the sensible thing and go back in history about that of the Hebrew numbering system so that you can see where you have been shortchanged. |
@Horus, Horus:I'm one of those who believes what the Bible teaches. My ignorance? Yep, but I still believe it. That is the reason why even as a black man, I'm still blessed! ![]() Horus:Where you read albino in that passage is another celebration of your ignorance. Meanwhile, God's covenant with Abraham is being enjoyed by people from all over the world. |
mukina2, mukina2:Toast to that! https://bestsmileys.com/drinking/10.gif mukina2:Oops!! https://bestsmileys.com/clueless/6.gif mukina2:Please - that would be great. ![]() |
@Horus, Horus:I have. That is why I asked you to to go check on the history of Hebrew numbering system. Please do me that favour and answer the question. When did the Hebrew numbering system begin?? Horus:That is why I have applied the very same inference to your arguements. At some point, you actually believe your arguments you post, not so?? If at all you do, then we can celebrate your own ignorance. If you don't then you've been wasting your own time. Horus:Great. So we can call off your bluff of the bacl Jesus, yes?? Hurray! ![]() Horus:Good. So your black jesus was just a black man without nothing worth hearing about? Horus:Another great "black" reasoning. I can sympathise with your own belief where 'God' never speaks. Horus:Em, do you really believe in your own assumptions? If yes, is that not worth the celebration of your own ignorance? ![]() |
This should be an opportunity for Muslims to disolve the misconceptions that people hold about women in Islam. ![]() |
It is true that almost every religion has experienced sad cases of its adherents involved in violence in one way or the other. The basic concern here is: does Islam promote violence as a tenet for the cause of Allah? We can vouch that Christianity does NOT teach Christians to be violent, even though some have been involved in them for religious reasons. Yet, would Muslims say that the Qur'an does not teach violence as a a confirmed tenet of Islam? |
So, what exactly does Islam permit women to do - #1. go to school? #2. take up professional careers? #3. pursue leadership positions in public life? #4. drive cars of their own? #5. interract freely with people (such as with men)? What really does Islam permit or disavow as suiting to the life of a woman? |
needeeg:Do you realize that you're contradicting what is actually taught in Islam? I'd like you to take some time off and go review this issue and come back before we discuss further. The issues here are convoluted because: (a) Islam teaches that prayers offered in any direction are NOT invalid (b) now you're taking the slant views of some Muslims who say that such prayers are invalid. Would you like to go and review them and get the facts? Cheers. ![]() |
@Horus, Horus:That is why I asked the question several times and you artfully dodged it because you would only have discovered that you were wrong and were only recycling fallacies which you caould not substantiate. In the same vein, the fallacy you offered that the Arabs "invented" the zero (0) was debunked. And that is the reason why I have asked that you get your facts straight before you post anything. Could you please go back and check once again about your assertions? It's easy - just betake yourself a little more on the history of the numbering system, and you will have helped free yourself from the weak premises you ferret from sources that don't have the facts. Horus:Facts are facts - and that is why I have presented a few of them to debunk your Arab invention of the zero (0). Facts are facts, and they give rise to substance. Nothing can be said to be worth any substance if your premises are based on fallacies misconstrued as "facts"!! Horus:Yep, that is why you have been pursuing your own EGO, No?? Horus:What you believed in preference to the beliefs of others simply demonstrate your own ignorance - especially where they have been laid to rest. Horus:This again shows you have no idea what you're seeking and have been shlepping up all kinds of infantile drivels to push your weak assumptions. This is in the same category with your drivel about John being an English name and therefore you had a problem with that. God spoke to Adam and Eve, but He didn't need to be boxed up in your reductionist idea before you can receive the declaration. Afterall, you have your own ideas about a 'black Jesus' whom you call the Son of GOD. May I ask you if God spoke to that black Jesus?? |
@needeeg, needeeg:This is why we continue to question this issue of having to face a particular direction in prayer in Islam. Why is one's prayer considered invalid on account of not being rightly oriented in the direction of the qiblah? If Allah's face is wheresoever a Muslim turns, why would a prayer offered in another direction mean that it becomes "invalid"? needeeg:Right. Even at that, the imam was still wrong if he thought it was that simplistic. needeeg:Wrong. Astronomy was a well establish discipline at least 6 centuries before the emergence of Islam. Rather, Islam borrowed from knowledge already established and consolidated on them to forge their education. Second, what has happened to the prayers made by Muslims before the direction of the qiblah was accurately determined? needeeg:And if one should fail by the margin of accuracy, are the prayers counted as invalid as well? Besides, we're still waiting for the Muslim answer as to the significance of the Kaa'ba in Islam. |
I have no fears, thank you. And the issues you have been pandering have been shown to have no substance. The questions I asked about your assertions for the Hebrew numbering system still remains unanswered; and you have been shlepping this racist ideology in almost every thread where you make inputs. That is why I simply ask what your fears are? If you cannot believe in the Bible, although you have severally referred to Jesus Christ as "the true Son of God", what really has been your problem with whether anyone was Black or White? |
This was supposed to be a round table discussion between Christians and Muslims. There should be no fear in evaluating the contributions of either Jesus and/or Muhammad on our way of life. Muslims can appreciate Muhammad's contributions to their way of life in terms of the many certain issues that Islam has brought to those who embrace that religion. What are they? This is where Muslims should help highlight them. Christians can well appreciate the areas in their lives that they feel that Jesus Christ has deeply impacted them. Peace and confident trust in God? The blessed promises - salvation that saves us without the idea of going to hell? What really is it? This should be an interesting thread. ![]() |
Okay, no vex. Can we shake hands now and move on? ![]() |
@topic, Can we have Muslims proffering answers to the topic-question? |
@Horus, What really is your fear? What really have been your core issues with Black and White people, Christianity, the Black Madonna, and the assertions you have pursued without substance? |
There's no truth in the so-called concept of Islam being a religion of peace. Your own attitude as a Muslim who is unable to deal with issues and resorting to abuses are solid testimony of the fact. |
Were you reading my mind? ![]() |
It has always been hot in here; and yes, some of us read the rules of posting on the Forum. If it were cold, boring, and weathered. . . where would this motherboard be? I'm not advocating unreasonable exchanges; and I still happily thank those who send any my way. The bottomline is that issues must be discussed. ![]() |
davidylan:https://bestsmileys.com/silly/1.gif "Wey oyb now?? Which part hot pass?" |
Well, may God open their eyes to the only escape from HELL - the precious Son of God, Jesus Christ. ![]() |
Al Raheem:Okay. Do have a great weekend. And thanks again for another one of those usual Islamic thing, eh? ![]() |
The Father doesn't fry anyone. If that is what Islam teaches, I'd be glad to read it in your tafsir, as it does not appear in the Qur'an. Meanwhile, the Muslims knew nothing about the name of the God revealed to the Biblical prophets. Toss a coin here: if you can tell me His name, then I will show you what that means in Islam. That is the reason why up until now I have been focusing on Sura 19:71. |
You sef, nossycheek! ![]() You know see say I dey scoot in hiding? |
Al Raheem:It amazes me that every time you say something, you're confirming Christian truths all the more. I know that the God who holds and guides me is "not islams" as you correctly said. ![]() So, what has happened to the HELL issue of Sura 19:71?? ![]() |
davidylan:Hehe. . this one up there is still desperate to get out of HELL, that's why all his sweat! He forgets that a thing decreed as irrevocable with Allah does not change!! ![]() |
nossycheek:Lol @nossycheek, After a hard day's job, this is one way I like to relax and see how people talk. ![]() |
Al Raheem:I'm happy for you - you have finally joined us to refer to Jesus Christ as OUR Saviour! ![]() Al Raheem:Before Muhammad was born, the pagan Arabs used the name allah for the chief their deities. Al Raheem:For only 30 secs - bomb wan explode again?? Do you understand the meaning of a Forum?? |
Al Raheem:I'm not in any position to judge a MUSLIM! All I understand is that Allah will judge Muslims on the Day of Ressurection according to THEIR good and bad deeds. Since I have not lived with them to know the balance on the scales of either man's works, I'll simply leave that for Muhammad the prophet who said that Allah is watcher over men - and no Muslims can claim to be a judge or watcher. If you know of any Muslim who can ignore Muhammad's words and disregard the Qur'an on this point, please let me know. Al Raheem:Thank you again and again. May Allah bless you. ![]() |
thesilent1:Toast again! https://bestsmileys.com/drinking/17.gif |
Okay. Please hurry, because I go soon vamoose. ![]() |
Al Raheem:Neither Murtala Muhammad nor Babaginda decreed anything about HELL in the Qu'ran. So, I would simply like to focus on what Allah says in his book. ![]() |
davidylan:. . . and it is a FIXED, UNAVOIDABLE decree, Allah says. ![]() |
