ZIONIA:Yay-ness!! https://bestsmileys.com/angles/16.gif ZIONIA:Well, I had hoped we could keep winding him up just a little more! Even at that, he doesn't seem to get it! After how many years of being in a white man's land!! ![]() |
@mukina2, mukina2:Nope. mukina2:I don't remember having accused them of such. My posts can be defended from Islam's holy books, and anyone who doesn't take me seriously can go check the references I leave or simply read magazines. Throughout my coming on board, I have sought only one thing - balance. I don't care who is posting what, as long as people face issues - which is what I've often tried to maintain. This idea that people now have to read me for what I'm not is not going to pass with the snap of fingers. Let me reveal a secret: the only time you won't see me reply a post directly is when the person is being unreasonable playing the name-calling games. This is the reason why I cautioned babs787 about his tit-for-tat, and if he had continued, Muslims would sure have hated their own religion! I have nothing against you or anyone. You can see from my previous posts here and in other threads. I do hope that those who have issues with you have got your message in starting this thread. Cheers. |
@bolaoni, bolaoni:No. Neither do you. bolaoni:Wrong. bolaoni:It's still there - in the Bible. bolaoni:Thanks for your accusation. May I know who the Republicans were back in Jesus' time? bolaoni:Sorry, I'm not trying to change the Qur'an. They already said their Torah and Injil are lost and cannot be found. bolaoni:Amen. bolaoni:Thanks again. Ignore my posts if you don't like them - because you really don't have to, just incase they put you where you don't belong. bolaoni:I don't have a war with muki - or any other person for that matter. And if this is your way of trying to muzzle exchange of issues from Christians, it simply just went out the window. bolaoni:Indeed. Peace makers don't accuse others with name-callers as you do; so you simply have preached to yourself, NO? ![]() |
Horus:Oh bother! ![]() M-A-N!! You sure take a fright that easily!! Ok, here's what it means: it is simply a bloggers teasing. People use it in the UK and no one has to ask whether that's mafia! Here, have a go at me: Attention ALL whites: here's another sick fellow (a.k.a. "ignorant fool" by the name of TELLY B that MUST be hanged!!See? Now my location is in the UK! I go die soon, abi?? Get a grip man! ![]() Now in fair exchange, can we have accurate answers to our questions after the panic measures?? |
thesilent1:Lol, the popo won't hear this!! ![]() |
ZIONIA:Oh golly gosh! You spoiler!! We should have kept him going!! Awww. . naughty you!! ![]() |
@Horus, Horus:Oh yes, I read it well. And my response was not implying the narrowness such as you expressed. Meanwhile, why should one give you HIS location? Horus:Oh, I see. That is why you have often settled your scores simply on skin colour, no?? If this is not asking too much, could you please oblige us asnswers to the germane questions offered already and quit the desperate racist panic you've been demonstrating? Thanks. ![]() |
Yep - that's right. But te hypocrisy of some is not the same thing as providing grounds for "challenging the Lord's prayer". Being challenged by that prayer is one thing; but challenging that prayer is quite another thing! ![]() |
Hmmm? Everyone in prison necessarily is on death row?? |
Fellas, abeg una. . . make una talk straight about issues!! E don do for the personal attacks! I dey beg. ![]() Issues exposed will be more effective than throwing stones at people. Can we please show some decorum and deal with the issues please? Thank you. Thank you again. Even if you curse me, I thank you once again!! ![]() |
@Horus, If everything for you starts and ends with your misconceptions and misgivings against the white man for simply being "WHITE", then you're only demonstrating how deeply racist you are! Christianity has been perceived as "the white man's religion" by people who don't have their facts right, and have been looking for a perfect excuse to display their perennial and incurable malady. The issues here are clearly delineated: what hard facts do YOU have for your assertions that Blacks once populated "the entire planet" BEFORE other races?? Where did the other races come from?? These are core concerns that are still begging answers from you; and having failed to provide them, you continue to prove your fallacies by desperately tinkering off your own racist ideology. How, infact, has that helped you take care of your own racist tendencies?? Horus:I didn't hint that you were Muslim, as I've read some of your posts. Your misgivings about Christianity and Islam being religions of Slave Masters is only proving that you see yourself as a weak racist. Horus:Sorry, but yes I was and still remain blind to that - as long as you refuse to come to terms with your own insensitivity. That - a death threat?? Don't make me laugh with your loud over-reaction. This is an anonymous forum, so how are people going to know your exact location? Okay, threaten me just this once and see me laugh in straight guffaws! Horus, your panic measures are not making sense in your posts. We all use those same blogger's teasings. I remember Gwaine using it for babs787 in other threads and the poor fellow (babs) almost collapsed! What's all this over-heated reaction from you now - just because you have not been able to provide sane answers to your assertions about 'ALL scientists'?? Oh puleeeaze!! ![]() |
@Horus, Now a few thoughts for you: The issue has typically turned from a simple question of whether or not Nigerians should drop Christianity because (as perceived) it is the "white man's religion". The question that follows that is: if one were to be balanced, then what about Islam - since Muhammad is described as a 'white man' in the hadith (Sahih Bukhari, Bk 3, #63)?? This tired, old blame-game against Christianity has often been used by people who themselves are self-defeating in their racist tendencies. Down the line, it is not difficult to notice the switch from religion to racism, while pretending that the white man did this or that to Blacks. I'm a Black, and deeply proud to be one; but I'm not a victim of the black-racist party that settle issues merely on skin colour. Let's review a few sad events of what black people have done against themselves. Warning! Because some of the images are too gory to to be posted here, I would rather leave the links for readers to view them directly on the websites from where they have been sourced. Some of the reports are better read as well on their sourced links. A. Political issues - Black against Black: crimes in Haiti http://www.haitiaction.net/News/HIP/5_8_5/out/images/12.jpg ---------------------------- B. Haiti Society - Black against Black: Police Rapes Victim http://www.greatestcities.com/users/cbray5003/Caribbean/Haiti/ ---------------------------- C. Sudan's Jenjaweed: Review of Mende Nazer's Book http://www.afrostyly.com/english/afro/news/sudan_genocide.htm ---------------------------- D. Haiti's Troubles: Blacks Against Their Own People http://www.alertnet.org/printable.htm?URL=/db/crisisprofiles/HA_UNR.htm ---------------------------- I could go on and on like this with well over a hundred active links demonstrating Black crimes against their own people without the white man's help! Not only so, but even those that demonstrate how demented some Blacks can be in crimes against whites and animals are sickening. However, it is rather even more sickening to pretend that the site where you fetch your pictures from are all about crimes perpetrated in the name of Christianity. That is simply reacting out of your racist panic. Go to that same site and see that most of the issues there are politically related! Aisha and Bankole's Statelessness! http://www.afrostyly.com/english/afro/interview/aisha_and_bankole_irungu.htm ---------------------------- Failing to substantiate your assertions and instead launching into the racist bigotry with those pictures of KKK has not really dealt with issues. The question that you still have not answered is your assertion "All scientists are in agreement that Blacks Negroes are the oldest race on the planet." Who are ALL the scientists that are in agreement on this?? Using this thread to vent your racism is not proving the ills you read into Christianity. It rather proves your self-defeating racist ideology. |
@Horus, Horus:Sorry, but your deep-seated and self-defeating racist ideology is not effective enough to hide the vacuity of thought and careful research in your assertions. Please, preserve whatever is left of your shoddy scholarship and go read the history of the Bible. Come back and cry that you now refer to JEWS as whites and caucasians!! Horus:No stress to me personally; you're demonstrating your panic. |
@Horus, Yeah, right. As if BLACKS have not done worse to themselves in their savages! What about Blacks that keep murdering themselves in Africa over landed properties, resource distributon like the issue of the Niger-delta crises in Nigeria? Take a peep at this clip and see how demented some people can be without the white man's help: Black savages bake puppy alive!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Xmx0lOK1kE It's easy to scurry round to paste those pictures and blame them on the Bible. Tell me how that has helped you cure your own racism in your previous posts? And then the joke of insinuating that Christianity should be dropped - because even BLACK Christians have been hanging people on trees, yes? |
thesilent1:Ok, I repent! Sarcasm has been suspended on the Forum till further notice; so I'm out! ![]() |
Nope; you are actually a genius! ![]() I have great admiration for people who capture my long thesis in just a few short sentences! Man, you've earned my respects - as do many others I've met on the Forum in such a short time. |
It all depends on the contexts one uses the words 'destiny' and 'fate'. I do not believe in the destiny that assumes a denial of one's active choice. If that is the sense in which destiny is implied in some people's idea, then no questions should be asked; because the alternatives to choices would have already been denied. It is diffiuclt to agree with the idea that one is destined to be rich or poor, educated or a dullard. A serious minded person commiting his life to scholarship soon finds himself educated at some level. No one is destined to be a dullard and remains so even after seriously seeking to gain some level of education. In another sense, to be destined for something or the other requires some sort of qulification. I look at a talented chap who's good at playing some musical instrument, and I remark out of hand: 'That fellow's destined to be a maestro!' If he takes my out of hand statement and relaxes without continued effort in his talents, he sure would find out I was no prophet making that statement! ![]() |
@Nicer, Thanks for your balance. I think my calling attention to certain issues in yours has been fruitful. God bless. ![]() |
@thesilent1, I can understand where you're coming from. However, taking just one "general's" style of doing things does not necessarily define the whole spectrum of God's love. If it does, as a Christian I should have been calling for everyone's death - including yours - when I pray! (And that is regardless of whether or not I face east when praying as such!) Please look into the Bible and see where I'm coming from. That 'God so loved the world' and gave His Son for me does not mean I should define His love by the disceptations of others. Regards. |
@thesilent1, Two things you've captures so well in what exactly I've been trying to point out to dear Horus: A. thesilent1:B. thesilent1:Thank you for highlighting them. |
@Nicer, Nicer:It is easy to make such statements because you made up your mind before examining the broad perspectives on both sides. Nicer:How you come about that percentage is amazing. I have never been afraid to state my persuasions face to face with anyone I engage in dialogue or debates. And I would still do the same thing if I were to meet YOU Nicer face to face! Nicer:Ahh, I see. Does that translate as well as including you - since you're using the internet to post this? Nicer:I agree wholeheartedly that there are brainy bashers - but it is not perculiarly only CHRISTIANS ALONE that should be accused of this. Nicer:Shikena! ![]() Nicer:Amen. Me too. |
@Horus, Horus:It is these 'FACTS' I have been asking for in regards to your assumptions. Alleging the brainwashing syndrome against others when you refuse to come to terms with your own has not helped progressed the discussion so far. Horus:And what do you call those who believe outside your own assumptions, even if they were to show you the 'facts' from any language you prefer? I don't see you having been able to handle your own forte. Horus:Against all the bitter hatred you see in the Bible, I don't see how your complaints have made you a better person than the deep-seated and self-defeating racism that have characterised your posts up until now. |
@ricadelide, I appreciate your outlines. Once again, thanks for adding to my understanding. ![]() |
seun001:What is not true in the highlighted quote in yours? |
@neelsel, neelsel:The purpose of this thread is self-defeating already if we should accept statements like this. I've been called names in my short time here, but simply laughed it off instead of reducing myself to the name-callers' level. |
Aiight. The issue here is one of a personal complaint. "I Am Not A Terrorist!", says she; and people have sympathised and empathized. The idea that discussing issues should necessarily be interpreted as "debasing another's religion" has no substance at all. If people feel that they cannot be questioned or critiqued on certain assumptions, resorting to complaints and/or whimpers is not a healthy alternative to fill the gaps. God is well capable of 'fighting' His own battles - as though He would have to come down from heaven to preach the Gospel and do the work He has committed to people. Christians fight fallacies with dialogue, apologetics and telling the truth in love; rather than with threats, ignorance or jihad! It is those ideas and assertions against CHRIST and Christianity which we find in Islam's holy books that are being continually challenged! People have not always done this within the parameters of decency (Christians, Muslims, and non-religious). However, it is a healthy responsibility to continually and intelligently challenge those ideas that call the Jews apes and pigs, and refer to Christians as the worst of creatures - as stated in the Qur'an! Pretending these issues should not be challenged is the reason why Christians in Muslim countries continue to be persecuted and murdered for no other reason than simply being Christians! If the point here is to sympathize with Mukina2, we have all done that and even cracked jokes. But to use this as a platform for muzzling dialogue over issues that must be challenged is another way of terrorizing intellect and free speech. |
@Horus, Horus:This again falls far short of reality. Victims of dictions are self-made. Horus:So which is which? Doesn't this show how people reason out of passion before getting the facts? Horus:So, where were 'Blacks' when 'Whites' were forging their own tools with which to rule? Horus:Great minds are not gullible; and across board, people have questioned certain ideologies using the same tools of scholarship - whether dictionaries, encyclopedia, etc. Even Christians today continue to challenge the ideas that sneak in through the backdoor that have no place in Christianity - and it doesn't matter if one were white or black. To me, it is people who play the blame game that have yet not been able to move on and make great strides. Horus:Again, ideas continue to be challenged; and established guidelines are have benefitted (rather than hindered) the development of thought. Horus:Do you have suggestions for alternative sources of etymology? |
@Horus, Horus:I'm sorry; but even at that I broached my questions following the points you raised. Horus:Again, I apologise if sarcasm is read into my posts. Yet, I don't believe that good diction is all about what race of people gave us the dictionaries - any dictionary for that matter. It is for this reason I had hoped to see some good resource that might have added to my understanding of your persuasions. Horus:I understand the topic. Muhammad was also said to be a white man according to the Hadiths. Besides, what we call "white" may just happen to be our own entrapments of mind in seeking to contextualize this topic. |
mrpataki:E no matter. . . even mighty oceans have been navigated! ![]() -------------------- Omo Eko:Bo, thanks o jare for that crack! ![]() |
neelsel:Wetin? You wan start your own jihad? |
Omo Eko:If you didn't visit, you wouldn't have seen this to post anything here, abi? ![]() |
neelsel:Ehn?? But what did you just do? ![]() |
