I will just pray and have faith that the lord is protecting my family and I know God will protect us.so I can wake up in the morning and continue reading my bible from where I stopped by his grace. I will do as you have said.fear is a very big weakness of mine, I couldn't sleep yesteday night it was dark and I was scared.I held a bible to my chest for comfort and I tried calling my sunday school teacher but he wasn't available. when I was typing this in the early hours of the morning I hid the phone under my bible beacause I thought they will be reading it .I wanted to watch movies or football highlights online then I remembered john saying that, it is impossible for christians who have seen the glory of God to deny christ and enter heaven. I not a strong christian yet and even though I have not seen God in his full glory yet,I realised that I was about to slip back to old habits just because I was afraid and even with how great my fear was I wasn't ready to do that, because I knew God will be dissapointed with me. people have faced much worse, and they still worship God in spirit and in truth, and here was I behaving like a weakling because of the dark. so I got up and played a gospel song till I could fall asleep and I did. thank you all for your help you have been really great, I will get ignorant about the forces of the dark for now and try to know and get closer to God.thank you all once again @nnamdiosu tjayjosh 701ecilana proccessor01 NnaNna4 and the remaining wonderful people of this thread.stay blessed.I guess I could use this................sorry I know it is almost afternoon.

I read some things on these thread and i marvel at how some people results to name calling of churches and go on to castigate them.

While a lot of us, Just sit down with the writings of the new testament and discard the old while picking the promises of how God and using it and discarding the not so nice ones as we are in the time of grace.

Now, To every ministry there are peculiarities and how they decide to disseminate to their members and how they interpret it, is basically their business. You dont believe in deliverance good for you. You had an encounter with God and immediately you dropped all your bad habit woow. Wonderful.

I remember a particular person on these thread who had reservations about a particular man of God and she wouldnt even listen to him. But the day the lord had an encounter with her and reveal who the man is to her, she became a member and right now she is waxing strong in that denomination.

We are believers but definitely not grace mates, same thing you are doing another man is doing and achieving greater rewards, same prayer you pray is the same men of God pray and testimonies abound.. All these talk about we are all possess same level of Grace is not true.

Search for 'Grad Cafe results' on your Google searchbox. You would see a link almost named same. Clicking it will open you to reported results from the day you are checking which can be adjusted by changing the search terms such as; viewing only reports of a day ago, 2 days ago, a week or month ago.

Alternatively, in the grad cafe search box in the page above, search for specific schools and courses whilst adjusting the time frame to get more recent reports. For e.g, if you type 'Engineering Carolina', the results will show all reported admissions from any school related to Carolina. You can adjust the time frame to reflect "all time", "past week" etc as the case may be.

The "all time" time frame usually has alot of pages which helps one study trends across years. There are other more intricate ways of plying through threads and discussions but, you may have to figure that out on your own

Your profile is (VERY) good. I would only advice you wrote the GRE earlier than Oct (say September) just so you can put forward your applications in Oct or latest, the month after.

Early applications are given priority for admission and funding in many schools. Your WES will be above 3.7/4 by my rough estimation.

Also, your school choices are not bad but try to study admission results on grad cafe to see reports of people issued Direct PhDs with funding, date the admission was offered and in some ways profiles.

It will help in directing you to schools that would readily fund you and how early you would hear from them. For e.g, if I knew this tidbit when I was putting forward my applications, I would have known to expect a school like Mississippi State Uni to respond in July for engineering PhD applicants. They did exactly this 2016 and 2015....I am sure even 2012. The point is, they would not change their trend for you or anyone. Same goes WRT funding.

To that end, Auburn responded in April and funded almost all the reports on grad cafe. Their profiles were not better than what you have above. In fact, my friend that got into the Civil Engineering PhD fully funded had 4.55/5 GPA, 320 GRE 4 AWA and 99 TOEFL which you could easily mirror or eclipse.

So you may want to check when the schools you have above responded to applicants and how readily they funded them. You may also want to know if contacting POIs is more important than scoring 320+ in your GRE.
