Secondly I have being believing God for babies, at times when it's close to my time of d month I will just have dis funny dream, it's either I see red oil, or red tomatoes and before u know it d blood comes.

Last week I saw an owl twice in my house, and I later remember that I was seeing something like that in d house we moved from. So my pastor came to pray with us and the owl has stopped coming since then.

I have prayed and fasted but no result, is there something I need to do?

Pls help a sis out as am no longer happy, no child, no source of income. At times I just feel am under a strong demonic spell. Seriously dats wat my mind tells me

I dream meaningless dreams most times..i don't think I have ever dreamt and that dream came to pass. I also dream bad dreams sometimes which I pray against...
My childhood was a mess....although I was very intelligent back then in school, I was always the best. And it spread from school to church....every church I went to then, they always call me pastor....coz I loved things of God alot even now. And I was always participating in every church activity ...
But for Music, I don't have a good voice..but I am an aspiring artist. I write both secular and Gospel songs, I have even recorded one of my numerous songs....i am a very good songwriter such that I get inspired by everything and when I compose a song, everybody likes it....they even nicknamed me the next generation wizkid then in school but the irony of everything was that even though I was a very good song writer, I didn't have a good voice. My voice was crap....
That leads me to another question!!!!
Since God wants me to serve him, why then does He inspire me to write songs
Or is it the devil who has been inspiring me all along
And funny enough, every church I attend I always join the choir and am also an instrumentalist. Coz i love singing a lot and praising God as well....
But I need more answers.....
Do all these prove that I have a calling
How can I know
Should I ask God for a sign

Whatever it is you are doing continue to do it. A man tells you you would be a man of God, he is correct but the timing he does not know, The truth is no prophet can tell you more than 20% at most of What God has in stock for you.

You know why in order to avoid manipulations, envy and some other things. You just need to cool down and hear God yourself and know how far.

Don't worry about the signs and confirmations, because if the calling is genuine, God will make others discern this calling upon your life anywhere u find urself..

I as well received a prophetic word describing and announcing my calling , just like u....

The sign is a mark on you.. Only the ones with prophetic insight will be able to discern it @ ur young age.. Elders too might discern it...now the questions are

1. Do you see images/visions, and dreams(prophetic dreams)

sometimes i see images of places, buildings, mountains and multi-coloured skies.

writings, books with inscriptions..

All these i see with my eyes shut or opened...
I've had too many revelations..the current one i had and shared with my family was about my aunt and her last born..

In the realms of the spirit, the enemy sent a killing sword to kill her last born...while she was panicking in the realms of the spirit.

Not quite long we received a call that my aunt's last born(a year old) was thrown from a story building and when he landed on solid groud, nothing happened to him.

Whatever danger that is revealed is what GOD has averted.

This is another confirmation and people around u will confirm this.

2. Do you have this revelatory gifts like words of wisdom and knowledge plus discerning of spirits..??

Sometimes when i'm conversating with friends.. I begin to hear them saying ..''guy, you're so wise i wish i could live like u''. And i'm like, ''what??, i'm being plain and u call that wise?''

Sometimes i have this strong feeling deep inside of me like someone is staring at me or like am not alone.

I've had a short prayer session and when i opened my eyes in the dark, i saw a bright disappearing light like a camera flash..

With all these signs, i'm not still satisfied..but let the will of GOD be done..

3Do you love music? ..
Music is a way of drawing God's presence especially in worship.

I've always loved music and it came in a way that i don't love razz songs but soft songs which makes me want to worship.

When i was still listening to worldly songs, my friends used to tell me to stop acting like a girl and listen to hip/hop ..

I love to worship God ..

Number 2 isnt really necessary but it comes from the impartation of Jesus christ..


But no matter what, don't derail from the path of righteousness.. Be steadfast and prayerful..

If the calling is truly upon u..I won't be surprised if you tell me ur childhood was miserable, limited love, loneliness. You've always had very hard times that made u cry so much.

You fantasise alot, you think in pictures, you wish u had a better life... Etc..

If it's so, then you're undergoing a training which is for your own good and don't expect things to be rosy alltime... Because GOD is going to deal with every aspect of ur life that might hinder u from answering the CALL.

You will get to a point where you only depend on him and not man.

These one are signs of the prophetic.

For other ministry gift, it does not become very obvious until it gets to a certain level.

There are a lot of things going on in my life right now ( which I will explain later). The man of God (a branch pastor of a very big church in Nigeria here in SA)[I am currently in South Africa] told me that neither the devil nor any enemy is responsible but that God is the one working out everything which will be like a history for me to tell later. He said he saw me on the pulpit preaching and that I was called to serve and if I refuse to heed to God's call, I would die. He said plainly that answering God's call is the only way for me to remain alive and he said he is seeing the gifts of Singing, healing and interpreting the word of God..
You couldn't imagine the shock on my face that a man of God who I came to see for guidance and counselling was now telling me I was to be a Pastor...Pastoring was the last thing on my mind.
And then I asked him if I was just to be an ordinary brother to serve God well or a pastor. He said he is seeing me standing on a pulpit not in the congregation....
And ever since then I haven't really accepted the call because I am still doubting it so I have been looking for confirmation....
So please I need answers to the following questions:::
1. Does God use suffering to train His children?
2. Is it proper for me to Request a sign from God if He truly called me [Because it is a big risk to venture into pastoral ministry without a calling from God]
3. Is there any Gift like interpreting the word of God
4. And if I finally want to accept the call, how do I go about it?
Please I need Holy-Spirit guided answers!!!
I believe everyone here also has calling and I need help on how to go about with mine

There must have been so many signs that you have ignored for you to have got to these level.

1. Now, I dont understand the part where the lord use suffering to train his children but if he force children to do his work especislly if you have been set aside to do the Job then yes.

2. Definitely, You can always ask and he will show you, Just so you are convinced about the whole thing.

3. No sir, But i would say there is something called Teaching gift which strongly relates to the what you asking about

4. Accept the call, Na there gan gan the work dai, You dont just accept a call because someone told you so. You have to be sure yourself and hear God directly. If am to advise you, I will say you go and fast and pray wella until you hear God. Then he would teach you where you should go.

Lol @ its not attack. Off course its not. Its just that you're undergoing training in the school of biblical studies and it takes time. Concerning delivery this is how I susscessfully overcame mine...I got an excercise book and start jotting down bible passages (warfare, promises, encouragements) etc. Then I started memorizing them. Slowly but steadily my intake of bible increased till I could quote lots and lots of scriptures.
Concerning ur sleeping during bible reading...no need to be alarmed. This is what you do. I played my fav Christian music that gingers me along side my bible reading. So when the sleep comes, I leave the Bible, and start singing the song. When the sleep fades, I pick up my Bible again. I think my body understood that as long as it misbehaves and feels sleepy, I will add more task for it. So it cooperated reluctantly. But I no send am. .....however ensure that you are not tired before reading the bible. Its natural to feel sleepy when reading the bible if the reader has been stressed. So time ur bible reading in section. E.g read 20 mins, drop it, read another 20 mins some hours later, then read another 20 mins much later. Unknowingly you've read the Bible for one hour (60 mins make one hour )
Your singing spiritual songs that just enters your mouth is a wonderful gift. Wish I had it too

Two days ago am working on laptop late at midnight hour around 12am-1am, i was feeling sleepy, but i just wanted to keep on working, suddenly started hearing some low random voice in my head I can remember though, believed its because am straining my brain because am suppose to sleep. But the strange thing is that in one of the voice I overheard it placing a curse, and some uttering dirty word. After that, the same scripture that came to my mind was "wile men slept the enemy came to sow tares"

Then I begin to question what sort of voice are these at quiet midnight, then I begin to understand (divinely) that; that is how men soul/mind is being corrupted at such an hour when they sleep, also spiritual indoctrination is being carried out. one will wonder some people will just wake-up with bad omen something and begin to do some evil they never plan, fight rape etc.

Having know little about subliminal messages, those voice I heard is more or less like that. Demons/Evil spirit will will communicate evil into the Soul and Spirit of man and the info will settle down in the Mind (soul) while person is going about innocently, the brain will be processing every information fed to it, including the bad one (there should link btw this and sexual dream). At long if the brain successfully understand evil ideas began to form in that person, like trying out some secret sin like anger, jealousy, hatred, masturbation until it blown to full scale iniquity

SO in the case of bad dream, if it is not attack, it would satanic indoctrination, through subliminal messages, and the brain in its complexity will process the information and if the Spirit of that person is not gracefully strengthen by Holy Ghost through the word of God it will be dangerous.

I need a little help.

I find it very easy to connect and be in transmission with the father per time, I can afford to pray for 2 hours or more without stopping depending on the level of intercessory that is needed at that time or depending on the prevailing situation.

You wanna know how i do it, I might just be alone and i just get to begin to sing a song, Those song you have not heard before but you sing it like you composed it, but once i finish singing the song i forget totally, then i begin to pray tongues, normal language and the prayer points just keep flowing and flowing and most time i try not to check the time because it can discourage and kill the momentum, so when i beginning i just have an idea of when i started.. well that's by the way.



Now, the help i need is i don't seem to read and the bible enough. Once i pick my bible 30 mins at most an hour am gone.. Better sleep..

Its affecting my delivery, sometime you praying a bible verse come and you begin to blab your way through it.. it not nice

And dont start thinking.. its not an attack..

There is no peculiar way to experience the holy ghost, The father deals with everyone as he likes.

By God grace the one i experience are in different forms so you cant basically expect that you act in a particular kind of way when you filled with the holy ghost.

SO, I would say you are in order very much in order.

I dont see anything wrong in what you displayed and if anyone tell you other wish, the person is just jealous.

I have learnt of someone who when is filled would be shivering like she has a cold but then, it all enjoying his presence.

I don't understand what you mean here but if you were talking about "my over self righteous way", then I don't think I owe you any apology I once wrote about how kind and nice people are in this city. I wrote about how I initially thought they were pretending and faking it all cos I wasn't used to that kind of stuff... now fast forward, I have made a decision to try my best to be nice and kind too. If it's sometimes uncomfortable for me, I will either be nice or just do nothing instead of saying something worse or making someone feel bad. I have suggested this method, not enforced it.

I'll give you an example, I didn't know how to use a washing machine, dryer, their kind of toaster here, etc. I asked my friends yesterday, they smiled and told me all about it in the nicest way possible. Imagine an answer like: What? as old as you are, you can't use a washing Machine? OR something more embarrassing. It could have an effect and make me not want to ask any other questions. You might not know the meaning/effect of genuine kindness and how far it's going to take people in life. Despite all I know, I could make a long list of the most stupid questions I have asked people here and how they have answered me and helped. Without their kindness I would have been lost. After every good deed, I made sure I said thank you in the sincerest way.

I was on skype with a friend of mine in Nigeria yesterday. I unconsciously said something and she said I was forming because I'm now in Yankee. That I was forming accent and trying to oppress her, I should sit down in one place because I'm not the first to travel. I just laughed at her mindset. I didn't even know my accent changed when I said the thing until she drew my attention to it. To those people with this kind of "hating" mindset, I just feel sorry for you. I repeat myself so many times that I have to even make gestures with my hands, spell, or write for these white people to understand me here. It's simple... if you don't try to speak like them, they won't understand you. One guy introduced himself: "Hi, I'm Hunter". omo, I said "ehn?" like 8 times and I didn't even understand him until he spelled it. I also asked another guy for "Water", It was until I wrote it on paper that he understood what I was saying. As they say: fake it till you get it.

We need to open our minds in order to progress. If I start, I won't finish. I'll just let it slide. Some Nigerians will see ordinary car as luxury when it's a necessity, upload a picture of yourself/you and your friends in a restaurant trying something new, they'll say you're being proud, showing off and a bucketload of other nonsense. You'll see people hating on others for trying to change their pronunciation and accent... something they need in order to survive here or anywhere else. It's just a shame.

If me suggesting kindness and open-mindedness dey vex you, lol. O ga gan. You don't know who's on the other side of the computer. Some people will come here to ask questions, you don't know how old they are, their status and level and what they can do for you in future, You carry hand and write nonsense to them and then when you meet in future in this small world and they show you shege, you will cry foul. I'll keep writing about my experience and suggestions Those who like it, like it. Those who do not, do not.

I'd like to share the sad sad story of a dear friend of mine, who is a product of an illict affair and how it crushed her destiny literally, though she is a born-again. Thank God, after tracing the many sources of her unfortunate setbacks, God finally delivered her from the consequences of the mistakes of her parents.

But there is no coincidence in the things of God, that a person is born out of wedlock does not mean God does not have a purpose for that.

People like that would need to through serious prayers and as well very good relationship with God in order for them not to repeat that pattern.

You are absolutely right that the office of the teacher and prophet are two distinct offices but it's possible for someone to be called to stand in more than one offices. There is a lot of controversy along this line sha, but i've read about a lot of people who are called to stand in a particular office and has time went by, God opened another phase of the ministry to them. For e.g with hagin he started out thinking he was a pastor until he was struggling and the Holy Spirit ministered to him, he was pursuing a wrong miministry, however he didn't wait for a full instruction and ran into the evangelist ministry for a year, until God reproved him and unveiled his perfect will for him to be a teacher, which he did for many years until God, unveiled his prophetic ministry to him. At one time he nearly lost his life because he was pursuing another ministry. So he was a teacher but he stood in the office of the prophetic anytime the propehetic unction came on him. I did some study about the scriptural basis of these some time ago and there is a book I read back then " understanding the anointing ". I need to refresh though because it's always good to be hold on to the scriptures not experiential evidence. But I do believe, for some ministers, the vision is unveiled in phases depending on how faithful they are. Thanks sir. You are very correct about occupying more than one office, some occupy up to 3 self because the apostolic can be occupied by the remaining 4 offices with patience, lots of prayers among other things. For a man to be in the apostolic he must be very matured spiritually.

I need a little counsel, I had a dream some weeks ago. I actually understand part of what it meant but the right counsel can never be too much.
I was in a church, now it was still the denomination I attend but a different building, a branch, I think have seen myself in that church before (another story). It seem I was serving in service unit(i used to be in the medical unit when during nysc but I have stopped) . Suddenly a man came in, he appeared to be one big guy, he was he like an elder , someone very respected. As he came in, people started whispering he's here, that big man, the senator (law maker) is here. But I just continued what I was doing, towards the end of the service the man sent for me. And brought me into the compound. He then said he wants to show me his secret, A big investment opportunity and I should pay close attention. He then opened my eyes to see some very old trees, he said his secret is planting trees, that if I start down the line it will give me much profit. He then said he will give me a practical demonstration and from nowhere my roommate from med school was with us( he's not born again by the way) . Then he took seedlings and planted them on two row, one each for my roommate and myself and then converge it to form a U. He was then telling us to nurture them. Now at this juncture, some people started calling me from inside the church Doctor,! Doctor !! Doctor!!! So I wanted to respond to them thinking there is an emergency that needs my attention, but the man scolded me not to go, saying this was also important and there are others that can do what they are calling me for. Surprisingly a lady was sent to call me, I believe she was a doctor and after that she just waited for me outside. At that time I could hear the service rounding up. And as soon I said let me see why they are calling me, my mom, one of my elder sister and a cousin step out of church and my mom told me she was the one looking for me, just to tell me she was going home. She then asked what I was doing outside, I thought and I then said the man was teaching me how to plant "rubber" trees. And she said OK ,and embarked on her journey. Now I took permission from the man to see of my mum and sister, when they got to the junction, they said goodbye and left. Instead this supposed cousin of mine turned back and said she will follow me back to the church. As soon as she turned back, she started looking at me seductively then I discern that this was an agent of the devil instead. So I rebuked her and woke up.
Please I need an Holy Spirit inspired asessment of this dream, the last time I tried putting it here, my phone ran down immediately I pressed the submit button. The enemies work I guess. Oga chalyg1, oga temi4fash, and anyone who has a conviction should help a brother because the dream is over 2 months and it keeps coming back to me.

most times its people that learn from you that will notice that you're a good teacher initially and even if u are naturally not a good teacher, if you really study and listen to some like hagin who was a prophet And teacher something will naturally rub on you. The office of the teacher and that of the prophet are two parallel offices, if you read some of his books, there was one he said he received the teaching anointing. He said he preached a long time and never had the teaching gift.

Like you, I perceive you have the gift of teaching you are not fully there yet but, with patience, constant study as well as a standing and upright relationship with God, you would have the capacity to occupy the office fully. That does not mean i cant teach infact in my service year, I did teach once or twice or made some contributions during bible study that i know its not me that these. Does that make me a teacher.. NO.. But does that mean i can operate in the teaching anointing definitely when the Lord give me.

Na teachers i fear pass self.. they can be so good at what they do that, if you not careful they will turn the bible upside down and still back it up with scriptures.. They will teach same verse you have reading for more than 15 years and you begin to wonder and be like eh en.. So it true sha.

Well, Frm the books i have read concerning the topic.

Apart from the holy spirit who works in us and Jesus christ who exhibited all the gifts.

I am made to understand from my various read that..

A man can operate in all of those GIFTS but he most times would not have all.

From my reading, For a man to operate fully in the apostolic he should be able to operate in at least 9 of the 12 gifts of the spirits.

So to answer your question, No ma.. No man can have all but one man can operate in all.

I was in a place witht a woman. It was like a shop sort of, one man came and wanted to buy a blender I was selling, in the blender I had already blended peppers and tomatoes, the man wanted to buy everything(blender and everything in it) he aske how much I said 4800 he said I should reduce the price I said it was the last price, he later bought it
I later found myself somewhere with my sisters I can't remember what happened but my sisters I was with escaped and some guys there wanted to rape me I fought the first guy he fell down and when the second guy came, I woke up.

I disagree with You Sis Analice on this one above. Have you read the book of Daniel chapt 10 where Daniels prayer was blocked by the Prince of Persia which is the Devil for 21 days? It took the intervention of Jesus(Michael) to overcome the Devil so that Daniels prayer can be answered.....Also Rev 12 vs 9 and 10 says more cos Satan can block our prayers as Christians cos everyday He always complains about us to God thats why in vs 10 Satan was cast out so that the prayers of the Saints can get to God.....Satan has powers to block prayers thats why as Christians we need to pray regularly and do WARFARE AGANIST ANY SATANIC MANIPULATION OF OUR PRAYER......Shalom

There are lot of us who are searching for God where we cannot find him, A lot of us have abandoned the bible and begin to search for God in books.

I just felt compiled these morning to call our attention to these fact. it is good to read but anything you read outside the Bible that challenges some of the assertions or over expands beyond the imagination you need to watch it.

As young Christians who are growing the faith, its not all Christian books you read because there are some you read and you might take out of context and begin to act and believe wrongly.

In summary, Read and research for God but be careful as you do so. Just as it can make you better it can make not too good.

I'm just catching up with some things I missed before I joined this forum. I'm amazed with some testimonies here. I just want to add something about tongues. Analice I believe your earlier stances that Satan and his agents cant understand tongues Is actually right. Here are some scriptures to buttress this
Paul writes :"The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14 RSV). This lack of understanding and discernment would apply all the more to Satan and his demons because they are the total description of carnality.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV
Praying in tongues is speaking mystery and that verses says specifically it's a prayer ONLY TO GOD. if Satan could hear what we are saying, I believe he could easily empower any demon filled man to understand and that verse becomes nullified because man can now hear it.
Now unto another dimension of tongues :
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:26‭-‬27 KJV
From that scripture it becomes evident that only "He that searcheth the heart : "GOD" can know what's in the mind of the Spirit when we groan. Satan can't know the mind of the Spirit. I believe the same way only the Spirit searches the deep things of God and we can only have access to them by the helps of the Spirit, (1 Cor 2:8-12) also only God can know the mind of the Spirit. That's why it's a mystery, an encrypted line to the Godhead. So ur earlier standpoint was right.

I pray for these brother, that you would not stray from these path, I pray that the lord would go before you be your shield and your blocker, he will be your guide, you would not fall, your not be defeated by the power and the call of God upon my life you would not be defeated, the lord give you power to oppress your oppressors, And reinforcement of the enemy against the fire of the most high God would silence them in the name of Jesus.
