aariwa: Except a person doesn’t know anything history. Civil war was a clear genocide by Britain against the people of Biafra for seeking right to self determination
Southern elders were scared of Igbo dominance due to the natural greedy tendencies always associated with Igbos
Umueme: Your train of thought is identical to Reno Omokri's. Go through my posts. I post regularly on Abia state threads. I'm an Aba boy to the core. Clothes, shoes you name it. I'm proud of my Aba heritage, and that is the reason i like Ikpeazu; for projecting the "Made in Aba" brand during his tenure
Umueme: What insight? Downfall? Only to fill up my tank this period is almost 50k I'll buy stuffs to cook, data.....? What's your point exactly?
Let's start from your wardrobe, how many Nigerian designed and locally produced fabric do I to I wear, what about shoes? As for your 50k fuel only about 9k while the rest was spent in USD. What do you eat these days? Who makes the seasoning? Expensive drinks nko?
Umueme: As much as I hate "tarnishing the nigerian image", the people doing so online have every right to do so. The bulk of the population with access to internet voted certain candidate(s). Their candidate not winning, means one thing; they play the role of the opposition. Mentioning countries like Argentina and Co., they wont complain cause they voted in their leaders not like Nigeria with all electoral malpractices known to man. If he really was people's choice, he wouldn't be dragged at every slight opportunity. Jonathan was dragged, but not as bad as MB and BAT who are successfully pushing us back to stone age
Ask yourself how much you spend in Naira daily maybe you may see some insight as to the role you are playing as a citizen in the downfall of Nigeria.
Nairalanders closer to Iwo road Ibadan, let's gather at Baba Onilu roundabout and march from there passing through Akobo bridge before heading towards Agodi gate to link up with people coming from Mokola roundabout. Let's cooperate to change this country.
You tried, men can cook. I cook so well, even in school and at home. During NYSC, guys usually come to my place for me to cook Sunday food, surprisingly, I don't enjoy cooking. I prefer washing of clothes, and cleaning the house.
OP, this food brought back memories of when I was in the North. Let's forget this packaging, those days of struggling was euphoric. Men should do more in the kitchen.
greenermodels: Nigerians deserves the type of leader that we have. Let's continue voting based on tribalism and religious attachment.
Nigerians do not wish for an end to this predicament, we just want it to favour us. Until we change our belief system, nothing will work out.
Imhereagain: Mr......Mandela was connected with all sorts of movements around the world that's why he remained friendly with radicals all over the world....from Arafat to Castro.....From Gaddafi to Mugabe and civil rights leaders in the USA. That's why the man became an international icon.
What bloody killings are you talking about ? Do South Africans wake up every morning to start killing everyone they see on the roads ? .
If you want to know who is really killing your people in South Africa, go through the following articles and I have some more if you're interested . ....we are not your problem.......
Though the conversation started badly, I genuinely apologize for any negative emotions I must have sparked up in you. I did my homework and from the data I could analyse, I saw that our dirty politics has extended to targets in diaspora who have tendencies to expose information regarding corruption that could potentially land influential people in trouble. Know that honest and hardworking Nigerians are not rich enough to afford migration to countries where their currencies are of a higher value than ours, so we are caught up here in this entrapment and Nigerians you see in SA either inherited their wealth or stole it. A rare but probable exception would be someone who sold a family property to afford the fares and they often fall victims. I apologise once again brother and I hope we someday get it right.
Lionessza6: 1. What xenophobic killings, where and how many Nigerians were killed in South Africa? . You people just love feeling jilted, its weird. Last time I checked the so called xenophobic attacks happened in informal settlements and Nigerians don't live there . So how did they get involved? 2. You paid what ultimate price ? . You never fought for the ANC , the ANC and other political parties fought for themselves , but they were supported by the outside world including the Nigerian state. There's a big difference here my dear, don't confuse the two. And when you help someone , you don't help them so that you can abuse them and their house , you do it to build relations. We are not supporting Palestinians so that one day our useless thugs could invade their country and expect no blacklash for the Palestinians of that day. 3. If any Nigerian dies in South Africa, is it not the duty of the family and his country to repatriate his remains ?. That's what we do in South Africa when one of our citizens dies in another country, because the host country never signed any deal with us to repatriate the corpses of our citizens. 4. Your loser sons are lying to you once things don't work out for them here, claiming their businesses are destroyed by South Africans . What businesses? . If truly Nigerians were the employers of labour they claim to be to you , don't you think we would be in support of them staying here and building the economy with us ? Common sense is far from you; only emotional blackmail and lies feel your hearts and souls, no wonder you're not trusted anywhere you find yourselves.
And yes fix your home and we will do the same to ours. Don't try that helpless Nigerian victim tactic with me , I'm well schooled in your * poor us* victim standing. IT WON'T WORK!
Lionessza6: Now this is getting really pathetic. It's like some Nigerians desperately want the "they are jealous and evil " line to stick . The Nigerian bloggers are all over the place coming out with stories that don't exist, this demonstrates a deep inferiority complex. Banters are normal but setting-up your own goal keeper is evil to the core. The man has been playing in the SA league for sometime, and he lives a nice life in SA and loves the place , but the lies concocted by his own people against the same nation that gave him a chance to shine when his own country had left him out to rot proves something about the society he comes from. It's like a section of the Nigerian population wants this man to lose his job and image as a humble goalkeeper to be seen as the typical arrogant and repulsive Nigerian in South Africa. Unfortunately for them South Africans hold no ill-will against this man, he has been a model guest and did his job well, infact he might even be poached by the bigger and more developed clubs in SA if Mpengesi doesn't get a good offer overseas.
I said this yesterday, on this very forum that Nigerians like to project. Whatever it is that they call you , that's what they actually are, and whatever they say you feel towards them , those are their own feelings of you . Checkout their usual insults aimed at South africans; "Lazy" ,"slave" , "wicked" ,"your women prefer us" , "you don't like other blacks " , " etc. Now take a deep look at everything I said and see if this doesn't not sound like Nigerians? .
There reasons why a lot of Nigerians felt like they won the trophy after winning against South Africa , and I hope all the deaths that occurred during this match won't be blamed on the South Africans who were nereby ....as it seems like there is a desperate need among some citizens to feel victimised by South Africa. Even after emerging victorious some are still acting like they lost the match ; walking around bitter and angry this is not healthy guys . Cheer up and look forward to Sunday with healthy hearts this time ...we wouldn't want Ivorians to take more of you to your early graves .
You're not accurate in your analysis sir. Nigerians at home are still hurt by the xenophobic killings which occurred in your dear country for two reasons: (1) A lot of Nigerians paid the ultimate price while fighting for the ANC and the wounds of their losses haven't healed because most were not brought home for traditional burial rites. (2) Decades later your people came with machetes murdering entire families and a significant number of breadwinners. Do you think people whose families you killed and whose businesses you have destroyed would be happy? I am convinced by your opinion that HUMANITY DOES NOT EXIST IN SOUTH AFRICA. Thanks for keeping everyday Nigerians up to date about how you really think of us, we will work on making HOME really HOME.
slaawomirr: Damnnn niggar Fisayo my niggarrrrrr I told ya all we are the real niggarz of Africa Let me increase the volume so our noisy neighbours called Ghana, Cameroon and Benin republic can hear us loud and clear
Was doing fast and Furious with my lexus es 350 on the street of Benin city in a very happy mood yesterday night On Sunday is gonna be worse.....aduwawa, ugbowo, airport road, upper lawani, upper mission road and okhoro road go hear word...
DarkLover: Damn You Nigerians are very wicked people, very quick to condemn & emotionally wreck someone.
Even if his music is not good enough to your ears, it's not enough reason to reel out this much bile on a single person. What happened to constructive criticism? Some y'all we say ‘we just dey catch cruise na’
In Nigeria, y’all deserved all the bad things you're facing ‘cos you are all bad and horrible people with only a few exception.
You sound more intelligent than our average black brothers here and it tells me your brain ain't going through malnutrition. I am sick and tired of this hell I find myself in. I always wonder how the British managed to stay around us for real.
Angola is a nation of home based talents with a lot of resilience. Our eagles will have it tough. These guys will be out for victor oshimen. Iheanaco's performance of late is not that encouraging. Oshimen however should fuel careful in regard to injuries as a tactical coach like Morinhno would encourage players to try and wound him.
blacknp: Shame no go allow the highestpopori respond to you.
Clueless Oblivious minded Basketmouth.
I want to create another thread about what's likely to happen to the political scene in coming years but mods wey Seun dey employ no dey push useful information and things that would make life better na trivial nonsense dey make front page
HIGHESTPOPORI: Keep deceiving yourself, the so called bat can't win any region apart from sw.kwankwanso not stepping down is a big blow becos kwankwanso would inherit Buhari and apc votes in kano nw
The best goal in this competition so far was scored by Mauritania's Köite against Angola, and it's the second goal in favour of Mauritania, is the goal worth the best goal so far? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7QHtAsMkpo
