afrodoc2: The reason the UK could utilize its island status was because of its naval superiority over its enemies for centuries, and when air forces became a major factor by WW2 the RAF could go toe to toe with the Luftwaffe. The UK's military capabilities are significantly reduced now compared to when they had the resources of their empire to siphon. If they go toe to toe with a country like the US for instance both the navy and air force would be overwhelmed, and Yankee Doodle will come to many English towns. |

If nuclear weapons are such a significant deterrent, why don’t all countries strive to acquire their own? If every country in the world had nuclear weapons, I believe we would achieve 💯 perfect peace, unprecedented in history.

If you’ve been close to anyone who has abused drugs, you would gladly kill the suppliers of these drugs by yourself if you have the opportunity. |

@Raumdeuter If the UK and Nigeria were to fight a war today, and the UK decides to use drones, does that mean it’s no longer a one-on-one situation because of the drones? Since the UK owns and operates the drones, it still counts as a one-on-one scenario as long as no other country interferes. |

raumdeuter: Yes that is why technology makes 1v1 warfare unnecessary. If it was 1v1, like 100 British boys wont just come to Africa and defeat an army of thousands. The difference was technology
Use of technology makes 1v1 unnecessary and impossible in real life When I refer to a "one-on-one" scenario, I mean two nations fighting without interference from any other country. The choice of weapons they use doesn’t matter in my consideration. As long as no third-party nation intervenes, that’s what I consider a "one-on-one" situation. |

raumdeuter: Japan was way more advanced militarily than China pre WW2. Same thing Germany was way more advanced than Russia militarily As at WW1, Russia was said to still be using calvary of men and horses to fight when Luftwaffe was already dropping bombs So, why didn’t China's numerical advantage help them? By the way, India is also significantly outclassed militarily by Western countries as of today. |

raumdeuter: If its 1v1 then China and India will beat everybody in the world cos they have probably 1.5bn men to spare for war. Thats why even America nor Russia will want to get into a 1v1 war with India or China Didn’t Japan humiliate China prior to the 2nd world war? If I remember correctly, it was a one-on-one. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 4:29pm On May 09, 2024 |
Ibime: Yes, it's very likely. Outside nuclear weapon, Israel will lose because Iran have the tactical advantage. Iran surround Israel but Israel cannot get to Iran. Israel would have to conquer Iraq and Syria just to get to Iran, while Iran can march from their home through those 2 countries and get to Israel with their supply lines intact. Infact half of Iraq will join them. Israel also do not even have anywhere to retreat if battle turn against them Israel is aware of this, meaning if they ever face Iran one-on-one, they would likely resort to using nuclear weapons without hesitation, knowing they would be in serious trouble otherwise. My guess is that the USA and its allies are trying to appease Israel to prevent them from having any reason or justification to use nuclear weapons, correct? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 3:54pm On May 09, 2024 |
Ibime: Na facts actually. War can be about who is willing to die and sacrifice their citizens and Israel is too soft for that.
France gave up to Germany after only 200,000 soldier deaths in WW2, they didn't send their civilians to go and die until Germany was exhausted
Soviet Union gave up 27m people and didn't quit, they kept sending civilians in human wave to chop German bullet until the Germans were exhausted
Iran would give up 1/3rd of their population and continue fighting while Israel will give up after 5% of their population is wiped out. So Iran will win by attrition alone. Saddam.thought he was flogging Iran during Iraq-Iran war only for Iran to keep sending people like zombies until Saddam was exhausted.
I dey talk wetin I dey read. Na my current reading be this. If that's the case, it means Israel would never defeat Iran in a 1 vs 1. The same would apply to a conflict between the USA and Russia, as protests would likely erupt after only 1 to 3 million casualties, possibly leading to government overthrow. In contrast, even if 40 million people were to die in Russia, there might not be any protests. |

Assuming Peter Obi didn’t contest, Atiku would’ve defeated the leprous Tinubu very convincingly, and nobody would’ve to deal with Tinubu’s expired brain. Atiku would’ve never been this worse. Ibime: Ergonomics.
Israel is a small and vulnerable country. In a war they would have nowhere to retreat to, so they must win the first battle
Most countries that won wars retreated far into their own territory before reorganising and counterattacking. Israel does not have that luxury due to their size.
In addition they value their citizens life on the same level as developed countries so most of their aid is on missile defence to prevent casualties
All these countries where life is meaningless are ready to throw humans after humans at the matter till they achieve victory. For Western nations, once 10,000 done die, their appetite for war go quench whilst all dem Russia, Iran, China will lose 10 million people and nothing spoil. Iran showed they are ready to lose from 500,000 to a million people in their war with Iraq. If Israel lose just 200,000 people, they would quit. A quarter of Israelis have dual citizenship, na dem go first run, while the other 75% will be given asylum in any Western country of their choice based on WW2 guilt. Life too soft. You’re always making excuses for Israel. If not for corruption and misgovernance, even Nigeria would probably be powerful enough to whoop Israel in a 1 vs 1 fight. Israel is the most overrated country on this planet. |

BlueRayDick: These people are just wicked thieves trying to justify rubbish . The office of NSA always gets budgetary allocations which nobody asks them of how they spend o.
That was how Dasuki Sambo was able to steal billion of dollars as NSA ( according to APC ) during Jonathan/PDP era.
They have not been able to recoup most of the monies allegedly stolen by Dasuki because that particular case was fumbled by EFCC and today Dasuki is a free man.
Even Monguno the NSA under Buhari alleged that dem Buratai and other service chiefs still stole money that were allocated for arms purchase under Buhari.
Why should anybody now agree with any yeye cyber security levy that will still be stolen by either the NSA , civil servants or security agencies ?
These people must think Nigerians are fools sha . How could Buratai and other service chiefs misappropriate funds intended for arms purchases when the National Security Advisor (NSA) and the Minister of Defense are constitutionally responsible for buying weapons for the Nigerian military? The NSA and Minister of Defense should be responsible for managing such funds. |

Why does Israel receive military aid to deal with a smaller adversary like Hamas? I've mentioned before that with all the help Israel gets against a small group like Hamas, they wouldn't stand a chance in a one-on-one fight against Iran. I wish I could find and share my previous post on this, but I don’t know how to dig up old posts, nor do I have the time. I believe I made that post last year. |

But if I'm trying to Japa now, I would prefer Ireland. Ireland has more finance and IT jobs than people to fill them. Irish companies are always coming to UK to steal staff. From what I’ve seen people say online, it seems Ireland is indeed better than the UK. |

They said its because he paid her Hush money (Money so she wont sell her story to a magazine and the press)That of all cases to want to try Trump for its the most flimsy IMO that they are going for. During the 2016 election cycle Stormy wanted to tell her story to the press and Trump offered her money to shut her up and sign an NDA
Stormy is in court narrating their sexual experience, Maybe its to turn off born again and women who support Trump. As most women and born again won't like hearing details of how you nack ashii Every time I read about the case it just seems amusing to me. He fvcked someone, the shameless person wanted to cast the matter, and he gave her money to pay her off so she won’t tell anybody about what happened. She still went ahead to break the agreement and tell everyone that Trump fvcked her. IMO, she’s the one that is supposed to be under trial for breaking a legally binding agreement not Trump. Some people are truly shameless sha. Why must you come out to tell the world so so person fvcked you in so so year and at so so place and time. Do third parties really need to know such information? Especially since everything was entirely consensual between both parties.
