Funny how you use the women you know (who are less than 1% in population) to form your opinion. Funnier how you think that getting gifts from men is exclusive only to married women. How many Nigerian men remember their wives birthdays or even buy them gifts? How many of them are romantic enough to buy them flowers on Valentine?

There are women who are married but single! They prefer solo trips, and would rather do things alone because they married a jerk. If a woman you know feels unfulfilled without a man, then that is her problem. There are thousands of other women living their lives without a man and they are happy. How many women in Nigeria have a good marriage? Just a handful! How many of them want to get out of their marriages? Many, but they can't because they are scared of being judged.

You people use marriage to shame single women to the extent that I overhead a mad man the other day ranting that he never wants anything to do with a Nigerian woman. If your so called 'successful female friends' are desperate for marriage, why can't they use their money and influence to find themselves a partner? What are they waiting for? I will tell you why they are single. It is because the men who come their way are nothing to write home about.

For what it is worth, as a woman, there is nothing wrong in wanting the right man to spend your life with. But it becomes a big deal when single women are shamed for it and made to feel like men are the prize. A prize that brings nothing but sorrow to a woman may not be worth it afterall. On a final note, if a man feels unfulfilled without a job, then why make it a fuss when a woman feels unfulfilled without a man?

Anyway, if the world beaters like UK, US and Co really cared about Nigeria, perhaps they should stop anybody from the political class from residing in the US. Yes you could do business, but you and your family will not be allowed to reside there permanently.

Perhaps a petition to be created let's see how it goes. I believe with this one move, Nigeria automatically becomes better for it. Who would not want to secure their country of residence...not even the corrupt polithiefcian wouldn't want a safe haven for them and their kids.

We have been together for 3yrs (2 in marriage). We’ve been having some patch ones lately due to finances. Which I told her I’ll sort it and get her the money she want to use. I’d have borrowed but no one did.

Lately, our landlord son is around. He just came back from the Netherlands as he’s been living there for years. My wife started moving very close to him (between we live in a large compound and my landlord has a whole section of the storey building to himself while the tenant share the other two storeys). She got his number and they started chatting on WhatsApp. Will see her giggles and she told me the guy is helping her find free school in Europe.

I had no idea they were sleeping with each other until the beginning of this month. When I knew and asked her about it, she got angry. But i saw a text where she was begging the guy and saying sorry he couldn’t penetrate well. That was the second time they were having sex from the chat. Now she’s angry and went back to her parent house saying I connived with the landlord son to ask her out and accuse her of infidelity.

Mind you it’s been months we last had sex. Which was mainly due to my financial condition.
