No matter what, as a man, never raise your hands on a woman. Leave the environment and go cool off somewhere. If tragedy strikes, he'll blame the devil. undecided

What sort of road traffic accident is that within NAF base itself?
Seriously doesn't add up. I'm trying to imagine where such will happen in the entire base... With all the speed breakers and all.

I think one of the criteria for rising in this country is to be comfortable while engaging in corruption. The system is so messed up.
Christianity Etc › Re: 26 Church Youths Drown In River Benue, Mourned By Their Families by tesseract: 10:38am On Jul 11, 2020
There are things that faith cannot do for you. For example wearing a life jacket if you can't swim.
Only God can comfort the families because there is nothing anyone can say to them to help them at this time. cry

Career › Re: How Will You Treat The Boss And Staff That Doesn't Know Your Value? by tesseract: 10:57am On Jul 08, 2020
It's the staff's responsibility to stand up for himself and demand some value. He probably begged for the job so the chairman makes him think that he is doing him a favor. I guess he doesn't even get payment commensurate to the tasks he is doing... I'll advise that you look away and face your work, except of course you want to get into the chairman's black book too.

Your chairman is an ass.

Romance › Re: What Are The Dangers Of Marrying Someone You Don't Love?. by tesseract: 1:11am On Jul 02, 2020
Love is like the grease that oils the gears of marriage, it is what remains when everything else is gone. It's not enough yes, but it's very essential. Some people say that with time you will grow to love the person but that's far fetched. There is absolutely no guarantee that something like that will happen.

If you can, then risk it but know that no one deserves to be in a loveless marriage, honestly it's hell and it goes both ways. Nothing you do will be right so you either watch the system break down or you resort to drastic measures to enforce the affection. undecided

MiamiePizza:
you don't even have brain, applaud the FBI... so because Nigeria is bad now anybody can just sit behind his/her computer and tweet rubbish 'bout the country?
Why they not say 'help track this Chinese or Arab or Russian' but they can easily type '6 Nigerian'. Do you even know the percentage of Nigerian that do this crime? less 2℅
If you don't stand up and defend your country you think someone else will?
Try learn how to defend your country, if you can't its better you shut up and don't talk any further.
Well, the Nigerians are being investigated, do your worst. At least start a petition online if you don't have shame. You come on a faceless forum to run your mouth. Nobody is victimizing them, they are currently in the spotlight thanks to the indiscretion of your puppy. So deal with it.

Instead of these f00ls to applaud the FBI, they are making silly noises. The actions of these bad eggs affect every decent person from the country. Smh

Modified :
Thanks for all the mentions, but I'm unapologetic about my comment. Let's face the reality on ground, the Nigerian image is already dented and may even become irredeemably dented if the activities of these guys and our politicians are not checked.

The only difference between our politicians and these guys is that, our thieving politicians are smart enough to steal only from their people, we tolerate the excesses of these politicians and the FBI doesn't bother them. undecided

What I understand by this move is that, with hushpuppi and Co in the bag, it's only logical for the FBI to try and hunt down the remaining members of the syndicate, so that they can close the case. Someone is already being tortured and the person is snitching on the clique.

You don't steal from somebody's house and expect to be punished like a family member.

See, we can either face our current reality or continue burying our heads in the sand. angry

Romance › Re: Don't People Want To Marry Again? What's Going Wrong In Our Society? by tesseract: 12:08am On Jun 23, 2020
Due to financial constraints, some men cannot risk it. Also, the rate of infidelity is daily on a steady rise, although not all men/women are promiscuous, but it's also a cause for concern. Even to marry a girl with rich parents is a major risk... Alas, you'll see how her family will treat their not so wealthy brother in-laws. The men stand a great risk of being turned to errand boys for everyone in the family.
I know they say have faith that everything will turn out well, but seriously, sometime in matters like this, you must face reality. Even Adam had the means to survive before God sent Eve to him. May God help us. undecided

Christianity Etc › Re: I Have Made Up My Mind To Leave Religion, It's Not Worth It. by tesseract: 2:55pm On Jun 19, 2020
CelestineNelson:
It is very clear that you've not encountered God...
Let me tell you why you want to be an athiest

1. The freedom to believe and live the way you want is so important to you than the fact that they is someone in charge of the whole thing and having a standard that will hold you accountable to, is just way too much to submit yourself to him- because that means he might put a wet blanket in some of the things you want to do

2 maybe just because you can not prove his existence, you now concluded there is no God.
Before you come up with a reply to this go and think again...
Please Let me show you JESUS...I know God allow me to show you God...
And where did you get the notion that I want to become an atheist? Did I mention that in my post?
Fanatical muslims believe that anyone who is not practicing their form of religion is an infidel and should be harmed.
A lot of Christians on the other hand are crooked in their ways, they commit atrocities in the guise of being under grace. They claim to be Christians but their hearts are not renewed. They don't fear God, they only respect money and power. Some denominations don't interact with others because they feel those denominations are teaching false doctrines.
I believe in God and I strive to improve my relationship with him via his word. I study.
My dealings with God is not religion, it's a conscious relationship, a very deliberate one.

Stop jumping into conclusions... smh
