Good evening Sabi mama, may we rip d fruit of our hard work on our children, mamas pls come to my rescue, my DS vomited like 3times after cleaning his tongue with a wash cloth, I was scared so I took him to a hospital, test was carried out and d result state scanty malaria, he was given a malaria drug to be used for 3days, but another doc said he us too young for a malaria drug, he should just use vit c and paracetamol he is 4mnt . Pls hel a ftm as am confused

In my humble opinion, 2 months is still very young. To breastfeed a baby lying down, it's best to wait until neck control is well established.
It's very risky to try it with a two month old, there's a danger of suffocation because they can't move their heads if your breast blocks their nose while sucking.

You know exhaustion can make a new mum fall deeply asleep in the blink of an eye. Please give it some more time, like when your baby can raise his/her head without support.

Thanks everyone. We're doing it in the village hospital, just wanna be prepared incase I hear 'Use engine oil'

Used a generous amount of olive oil as often as possible for DS, ànd Notting else as directed at d hospital, ring came off on the 4th day, and mind u did is dry season, pls make sure d site is always oilly so d ring can fall off on time, once d ring fall off was asked to use a mild soap and savlon in water to wash and continue with olive oil till site heals

Love your explicit explanations. My car seat was a gift but we didn't start using till baby was 3months+ cos there's no where we were going to. He's 16months and we are still using it. However the capacity is weight rather than age. It's not a popular name brand and its permanently rear facing. Just go online and see the different options so when U go shopping u can make the best choice.

What you want is a convertible seat that works from birth till 2 years (some even more), just make sure whichever brand you're buying starts from birth, it's usually clearly indicated. So you fix the seat rear facing till the child attains the weight to face front, then change the direction of the seat. I don't know anything about tilting, the disadvantage I noticed is that those big ones are not portable (so you can't remove the seat to carry the baby maybe when you're grocery shopping or out at an event). However it makes more financial sense to just buy 1 seat from birth till whenever rather than buy a small one, then change when baby outgrows it.

Hope this helps. For car seats I prefer to stick with name brands since they are safety devices. I'm aware of Graco, Evenflo, Britax and Safety1st but I use(d) Graco

Putting a pillow in-between my leg and resting d affected hip on the pillow did work wonder for me, u can try it too, it might work for u

U made me remember my first trimester with this hunger palava, hubby had to follow me to the hospital to report my excessive eating habits, he was told to be grateful his wife is eating, there and then I was advised to eat as much as I can cos another trimester can come with its own style, so my sis eat as much as u can just make sure u are eating healthy, also consider doing fruits too. Hello Mummies. Please I need your advice..I noticed I had eczema when I was pregnant.. It was at my back then..my husband brought my attention to it..but I ignored then thinking there's no need using anything since I was pregnant. On giving birth 5weeks ago..I expected it to start vanishing but to my surprise it started spreading to my chest..it now almost all-over my chest and breast.. It's so irritating.. Im scared not to infect my son with it..
What can I use that won't affect my son cos of breastfeeding.. Or shud i just be patient expecting it to go naturally?

Been having this itching on my labia, did detol and hot water and sat on it for some time, have been using tribotan and mycoten cream but this itching no be hear oo, I have been to the hospital the doc asked me to continue with the detol preferable Savlon, but the itching is just too much, any preggy mama in my shoes how did u conquer this
