I run into this at every stage of my build.

It's as if they think that I'm naturally dense because I leave overseas or they have to prove something to me that they too know stuff.

what i do is to follow everything on the drawing and specification to avoid story that touch,in case things go south i can always tell the client i did what is in ur drawings ,the best i do is to call his attention and suggest another option if he agreed fine ,i don't dictate i will only make u see why it should be the other way round,then we brainstorm

While the plan shows the wardrobe position to be demarcated with blocks, the supervisor thinks block work for wardrobe is unnecessary and out of fashion. I am confused as my friend is a rigid person who might want to see his plan executed the way it was drawn unless if I could be convinced otherwise.
Now the question is, is it really out of fashion to build the wardrobe wall with blocks?

Guys any advice? I am about to do some internal wall screeding. The floor tiles for the rooms where the wall screeding to be done is not yet laid. The tiler is suggesting completing the floor tiles before the wall screeding is done. Can you guys share your experience with tiling and screeding? In what order should this be done?

it can be done either ways but its better to lay tiles first to get the actual level of the room to avoid stain on the wall and to reduce the excess material that will be used for the lower part that is going to be covered by the screeding also to reduce the cost of labour because it is measured per square metre

One can die from CO2 whether awake or asleep, it's a colorless and odorless gas (I know that you know this just saying it for others that may be reading).

1) Generator sets produce CO2. While you may be cognizant of this fact and place your own generator in a location that is away from you, could that placement endanger your neighbor? I know that I'm not considering my neighbors bedrooms while designing my own house. And we have seen houses being built on here that are 6 feet from each other.

2) Cooking with firewood. I experienced this recently and it wasn't coming from the property where I was staying

3) Automotive engines. From mechanic yards. My hobby is automotive engineering aka shade tree mechanic. When breaking in engines, I may have it running for up to 30 minutes and there may be lots of smoke.
