Oluwaseunomo:But na you be the biggest simp. Imagine telling a grown man that his ‘purpose in life’ is to be a ceremonial prince. Na so you yourself lazy? This is someone that went to war in Afghanistan. Won several awards. You now imagine his purpose is to be a leech. The man has moved to where he has peace and is quietly making his money along with his wife. Combined net worth over $100m. You siddon there dey call am ‘Simp’. Oya na, leave your job and go take up chieftaincy title in your village council. Shebi na your own purpose in life be that? Simp |
Iykenuwa:Actually, you’re the one posting like you’re a kid. Imagine believing the Daily Mail of all outlets. How do you not know about that tabloid, their distance from the truth and their long history of legal battles with Prince Harry? Troubling to see an adult so gullible. |
Jashub:They certainly are making less money from their oil and gas…and they’re flaring more than they’ve ever done. So you’re completely incorrect in your statement that the flare amounts are aligned with levels before the war. You can keep parroting the “Ukraine is crying” line but everyone on this page knows that side with the broken, demoralized army that’s on the back foot. The army that fled territory in panic and left much of their equipment behind. I feel sorry for you. Your entire world view and your slavish worship of a brutal dictator has been upended. You’re clearly struggling to cope with this. It will get worse for you and Russia |
onumadu:And you believed that crap? ![]() No be only 800. Na 89000 |
Deo1986:Rubbish. The whole world - every single western analyst - assumed Ukraine would fall within days. The only support they were provided was stuff like anti-tank missiles, rifles, ammo etc. also portable anti-air missles. Basically no heavy weapons. The resistance outside Kyiv was all Ukraine. and they beat Russia outside Kyiv, Hostomel airport etc largely on their own. Heavy weapon support like artillery and HIMARS only started coming in from like June/July. and still there's a lot of unfulfilled promises. So no, this isn't about foreign support. If Ukraine had full access to the bulk of Western arsenal, theyd have crushed Russia ages ago. This is mainly due to the sheer incompetence of the Russian troops and tactics, plus the terrible morale and compromised equipment due to insane levels of corruption. |
Good of them to allow him change his Kaftan and slippers. |
Jashub:Actually, Russia's energy income has declined in the Jan - August period of this year compared to last year Gas prices in Europe are falling now, despite Russia closing down the gas supply to Germany. And in a cruel blow to Russian hopes that the sanctions will be lifted, The EU + US are now applying price caps to Russian energy...so their ability to profit heavily from this crisis is largely curtailed. The Asian markets are buying Russian gas at cheaper prices than Europe, so this will be a strategic long term blunder from Putin. EU gas storage facilities are nearly completely full, so coupled with ramped up production from Norway and the possibility of Netherlands hiking up their own production, there's going to be enough gas for Germany to go through the winter with frugal use. They'll wait it out, while Ukraine destroys the rest of the Russian forces in Ukraine ![]() Putin has bitten off way more than he can chew this time. PS: You're not even aware that gasoline prices are falling in the US. Even Republicans aren't using inflation in their campaign ads these days. |
Krismas:That’s where you get your news from? Official Russian Govt statements? ![]() Meanwhile, Russian TV news hosts are incredibly worried and downbeat about the recent setbacks. You should watch this https://twitter.com/apmassaro3/status/1569224199574790145?s=21&t=5h0jvEyLXsq3dSOcPXY4fg I knew you were deluded, but to think you’re actually relying on Russian Govt statements and Russian propaganda telegram groups for your ‘news’…how can you be this gullible? They said they killed thousands of Ukrainian troops yet they fled out of strategic towns in Kharkiv Oblast, abandoning a lot of equipment and ammunition!
|
Krismas:I think my work here is done. Everyone can clearly see there’s no substance to your arguments. You will cry even more when the Russian army continues to victoriously retreat. |
SavageBoy:Probably because everyone with a functioning brain knows there’s no credible reason for the policeman to have threatened to shoot her. E go be your turn one day sha |
Krismas:He’s referring to the Oblast. All these cities the Russians were driven out of are in Kharkiv Oblast. |
Krismas:And this is how I know I’m wasting my time with you. You don’t know anything. Imagine claiming the Germans lost due to the “1945 winter snow” meanwhile the key turning points were the battle of Moscow (winter 1941) and Stalingrad (q4 1942 - q1 1943). The war ended mid 1945, you ignoramus. Krismas:Russia has been fighting in Ukraine since late February, it’s 6 months later and they’ve not even been able to take the so-called DNR territory. Their army group from Belarus was defeated outside Kyiv and now they’ve been forced out of incredibly strategic cities they only captured after intense effort earlier in the war. And yet Ukraine is the one that is ‘lackluster’? Lmao Your Russia couldn’t even manage to get air superiority over Ukraine! You really are clueless about these things |
Osariemen12:Keen follower ke. You mean you read Russian propaganda and swallow it without thinking. Osariemen12:How are they close to achieving their purpose when they’re falling back from strategic cities and logistics hubs that they spent months capturing ? Osariemen12:Russia is a nuclear armed power, with thousands of warheads. Nobody wants to escalate things too much. Because if NATO joined the war, they’d crush Russia’s armies in the field without too much work. The truth is that nobody wanted or needed a war in Europe. Only Russia were mad enough to try to pull this off, and Putin only committed because all his generals and yes-men convinced him the war would be over in a week with Kyiv captured and a puppet installed as president. Osariemen12:E say na ‘mother Russia’. Dem no go even give you visa |
Krismas:In the Second World War, German forces pushed through the Soviet Union, sweeping across Ukraine and entering deep into Russian territory to launch an attack on Moscow. Russians eventually counter-attacked and pushed the Germans back to Berlin. Now Krismas is here saying this did not happen because “how did the Germans manage to take all those territory and strike deep into Russia if Russia was able to counter attack later” No logic, no sense, no single understanding of warfare. Just arguing blindly on Nairaland |
Krismas:How would you even know? lol, you can’t even point out Izyum on the map of Ukraine. All you go with is the usual “rah, rah, Russia will win!” Meanwhile Russian corps are fleeing for their lives and being hunted like rabbits in the Kharkiv countryside. E say na only Izyum. The Russians were beaten out of multiple settlements including Balakliya, Shevchenkove, Izyum, Krupyansk and positions all along the Oskil. Ukrainian forces are already assaulting Lyman. There is no point wasting my time to post videos or pictures. You will still not listen, because yours is now a fanatical craze for Russia and it’s completely removed your sense of reasoning. Western military experts are forecasting an Ukrainian win. Russian milbloggers are in panic and admitting the balance has shifted to Ukraine. But na only you deluded folks here wey una eye neva clear. |
Krismas:All this is just premium copium from you to cover the fact that Ukrainian counteroffensives captured 2000 square kilometers of land, including multiple strategic cities. All in a handful of days. Not to mention the Russian army retreating in disarray and leaving behind a decent chunk of their heavy equipment. Your tears haven’t started yet. Lend-lease takes effect from October 1st. That gives Biden a lot more leeway on weapons and logistics to send to Ukraine. It will be very hard on you. |
Krismas:There are innumerable videos and pictures of dead or dying Russian soldiers. But not everyone is like you that’s saving pictures of corpses from Russian telegram groups in their photo library. Look at you, showing off pictures you saved since May. It seems like there’s a certain level of depravity one must sink to to support Putin’s war. |
It’s funny. All over Telegram, Russian milbloggers are in disbelief and panic. Russian troops are in a rout, falling back out of cities they spent months to capture. Piles of abandoned equipment and weaponry left behind. And then I come to Nairaland and I see the usual gullible, Putin-worshipping supporters of genocide insisting that it’s perfectly normal for Russian troops to pull out of cities they spent months capturing. Perfectly normal for them to dash out of cities that are EXTREMELY strategically important logistics hubs. Losses that will make it exponentially harder to get any gains in Donetsk. It’s funny how you Putin worshippers sneer about people watching CNN. But it seems you’re the blind ones. All your news from increasingly Russian incoherent propaganda channels that only the terminally daft could possibly believe. People paid to educate you lot. Kai. |
Osariemen12:He’ll be here when you’re crying in disbelief. You devil worshippers are shameless |
atmy1:Seems you believe in fairy tales. |
Kingsley10000:With what? They don’t have air supremacy over most of Ukraine. Their Air Force can’t get there. They can fire missiles, but they’ve used up the bulk of their missiles and are struggling to replace them due to sanctions. Much of the remaining aren’t easily getting past Ukrainian air defence to hit the west of Ukraine. The equipment is mostly being delivered to Poland and then brought in via road. West Ukraine, far from the frontline. Russians can’t strike Poland because that’d bring in NATO retaliation. They can’t reliably interdict the equipment on road either. They are paying the price for their incompetence. That’s all there is to this. |
Olafisoyem:Confirmed. Full scale rout in that axis.
|
Just40:Of course it isn’t comparable. The Russians have lost FAR more. There’s some folks tracking visual confirmation of losses and so far, Russia’s losses are far more significant. Even worse for Russia is that this war is consuming their huge arsenal of ex Soviet weaponry and ammunition, and corruption didn’t let them replace much of it. Pretty much why they’re importing drones from Iran and trying to buy ammunition from North Korea. |
I feel so sorry for Derrick After insisting Ukrainian forces were being ‘grinded’ and claiming Balakliya that fell days ago was still in Russian hands, we now see unquestionable proof that this is all nonsense. Heres evidence that Ukrainian troops are already in Kupyansk.
|
atmy1:Nah. That’s just what Russian propagandists were pushing before this latest quick push past Balakliya. The maps are misleading because you see all the reds etc and assume they’re filled with soldiers. Actual troop concentration is around or close to settlements. The Ukrainian troops have pushed to Oskil, right to the banks of the river which is VERY defensible. They’ve also heavily damaged the bridge that Russians could have used to reinforce the region, so reinforcements will find it difficult to arrive. And now they’ve pretty much encircled Izyum (only remaining road out is under artillery control) and are currently in the strategic railroad city of Kupyansk as we speak (there’s videos coming out now) It would take a near miracle for the Russians to be able to push back strongly in the coming days. much of their best troops were pulled to the South to Kherson oblast and are tied down there. They’ve constituted a new army corps, but that’s undermanned and filled with raw recruits and currently lacking the best equipment. Ukraine would probably find it much harder after they mop up Izyum and Kupyansk, but at least capturing those areas would dramatically reduce Russia’s ability to supply their troops in Donetsk and Luhansk via rail. |
DerrickzB:Google up 'ZeRaDa Telegram'. First few results make it clear that ZeRaDa telegram channel is pro-Russia propaganda, and this has been known for ages. So you're basically posting Russian propaganda here as your 'proof' . This is the problem i have with you Nairaland Putin worshippers. Completely, shamelessly gullible, and lazy to an absurd degree to even do the bare minimum research. Kai Did you see what I did? I posted accounts from groups run by the likes of Wagner and Strelkov (Igor Girkin). Both pro-war, pro-Russian. And their sobering updates clearly confirmed the Ukrainian counter attack was sweeping through huge areas of Kharkiv Oblast. |
More I don’t think I need to explain who the Wagner guys are.
|
DerrickzB:The same one where there are many videos of the Ukrainian flag flying in the city center and where there are videos of crying citizens welcoming the Ukrainians. Kai, you are hopelessly stale. Here’s Igor Girkin, a.k.a Strelkov, the Russian milblogger confirming the fall of Balakliya and the rout of the Rosvgardia troops that were stationed there. Straight from his Telegram group. You’re hopelessly stale. They’re already assaulting Krupyansk as we speak.
|
DerrickzB:Ah yes, ‘grinded’ them so Tay two important waypoints were taken today, and Russian milbloggers are wailing about Russian units being encircled and overrun. Balakliya don fall already. Krupyansk is being overrun as we speak. Maybe it’s when they advance to izyum that your eyes will clear Where do you Nigerian Putin worshippers get your ‘news’ from? Russia today? |
Just40:The same Russian front lines that are being overrun as we speak? Even your Russian milbloggers like Girkin and WarGunzo are in extreme panic mode. |
Just40:Meanwhile Russian milbloggers on Telegram are wailing about both the Kherson offensive and the new Kharkiv front. Lmao. You cannot be serious with those figures |
