NRI PRIEST: Point of correction, big hommie,Anambra is not "cash strapped". Anambra goverment is financially strong. Go figure.
Are you disputing the utter daftness of this move?
Politics › Re: Obi Provides Patrol Vehicles To The Army (pix) by texazzpete(m): 6:45pm On Dec 29, 2012
What a m0r0n...buying vehicles for the Nigerian Army using state taxpayers' money...the same taxpayers that will be glibly insulted as 'bloody civilians' by the Army boys.

Utter nonsense!

You also don't have the common sense to realize

1. This is the Phones section. The PSP is not a phone
2. You don't ask openly about piracy.

I'd like to congratulate 4llerbuntu on his award...this has been well deserved, I must say.

Thanks for all those that nominated me, giving me a chance to let off some steam after increasingly longer work hours I've been putting in.

He may be an insufferable, close-minded fellow, but fola has put in long hours here helping loads of people...and arguing with stubborn and opinionated people like myself.

At a point yesterday, I was tempted to make a final push to win this...It would have been relatively easy...I could have badgered loads of NL contacts to put in that vote for me...but then I saw this post fola made in the Android section

Please please and please guy, kindly show some love by voting 4llerbuntu for phone section poster of the year. Give something back, nobody asks for money here. Let it not be only the guys that ask for money that get rewarded.

The thread is the first on the phone section. U can also follow the link in my signature.

Thank you so very much
And i realized the guy deserved it much more than I did.
He said something there I liked...all the help he's been giving is 100% for free. And actions like that have inspired others to do the same. In the iOS section, stalwarts like tumababa and suntemi are helping folks freely with advice and even sales are cheaper and guaranteed to work.

We've moved a long way from the dark days of FBT and "pay N2000 into my account and I will tell you how to browse free with MTN". We had days when people were begging and pleading via emails to be let into secret and clandestine yahoo groups for knowledge. Then those who knew were superstars and those who didn't had to pay to get info.

We've moved away from those days, thanks to people like 4llerbuntu, tumababa, suntemi, lynxnoon, aireomon and many others. We are even dangerously close to becoming a community sef cheesy

Congrats to 4llerbuntu once more, even if i still do not know what 'Ashipa of Lagos' means.

He came with a 'park'?

Such a freaking disgrace that at your age and level, you don't know the difference between 'pack' and 'park'.

Brethren, when I stand ab initio on terra firma and posit with copious verbiage and a dispassionate mien, I do not do this just to showcase excess and lugubrious jocularity, but to use demagoguery and bombast to inculcate your medulla oblongata with knowledge! As such, I asseverate and elucidate, that the homo sapiens Texazzpete of Nairaland is a man of timber and calibre, a colossal juggernaut of a Milicia excelsa (Iroko tree) in a stupendous forest!

Pay no heed to the vicious, vitriolic and vacuous vituperations from the misguided, maladjusted and malicious 'FailerBuntu' (known in unsavory circles as 'Ashewo of Lagos') and vote for this benevolent and amicable man TEXAZZPETE as a failure to do so can lead us all Inexorably into a quagmire of repercussive and cataclysmic exigencies!

Vote TEXAZZPETE of Nairaland!!

Aluta Continua, victoria acerta, down with Boko Haram MTN!

TRUTHTELA: Who the HELL will add Chinua Achebe's name here? You must be a LOW LIFE person. If Achebe has called a name from the Northern Nigeria, I can assure you that you'll not add his name here. So, because he wrote his memoir and informed the world of Awo's role, now he's a bad man, losers. Has anyone in the history of Nigeria turned down National Honors? But Achebe did it twice and the HISTORY will forever HONOR him, his WORKS, INTEGRITY and everything that he REPRESENTS. Till this world comes to an end, THINGS FALL APART ( ACHEBE) will continue to be the GREATEST BOOK THAT CAME OUT OF AFRICA, by an AFRICAN.
What has the book got to do with anything?

He opened up a can of worms a man at his age should have had the common sense not to...that and the fact that his narrative was shockingly biased. I'd thought him above such petty tribal sentiments.

I'll vote for GEJ this year, but there's stuff in his book that Achebe should be ashamed of.

dederocs: LAGOS IS A CITY,MEGA CITY-WE DO NOT WANT OKADA HERE
You know, this is where the problem comes from...this mass, self-delusion that you're a 'great, mega-city'.

When you take a stroll through the streets of Ikotun, Ejigbo, Ajegunle et al, you'll see that largely, Lagos is one giant slum.

mega-city with less than 1000 doctors employed by the state to cater for nearly 17 million people. Mega city with an abysmal mass transit system! Mega-city with insane traffic jams that the Government cares nothing about solving...

Forget the Okada issue, anyone who goes beating his chest about Lagos being a 'mega-city' needs to be flogged with a very stout Koboko!

Politics › Re: Anenih Is New NPA Chairman by texazzpete(m): 8:06am On Dec 21, 2012
Sincere 9gerian: It seems the 'retardinhos' achieve orgasm whenever they hurl insults and abuses on the president. Whether you like it or not, Aneni is a heavy weight in PDP and he'll continue to get peripheral appointments here and there. How does appointing him as chairman NPA board affect you and I? Board appointments are figure heads and have nothing to do with day to day running of the organisation. Even some organisations have been without board for 2yrs or more and it didn't affect their operations. As far I'm concerned, appointing anyone board chairman is a none issue. The people that matter are the ministers and heads of departments and agencies of govt, and GEJ did well in those areas. These are the people that do REAL WORK and the drivers of the transformation agenda.
There is absolutely no need to cry over political compensation of party faithfuls with board appointments. It makes sense that one has to balance competence and drive to deliver with political compensations here and there, otherwise one will LOSE POLITICAL GROUND. And when that happens, the same 'retardinhos' will be here to celebrate
We voted in GEJ to work effectively as a President, not to gain 'political ground' from a godfather who has been thoroughly demystified in his own state of Edo.

Your contention that the chairman of the board has nothing to do with the running of the NPA is unbelievable m0r0nic and stupid when one considers that Bode George was in that same position and managed to end up convicted for contract inflation and serious impropriety (not accounting for the rumored N100 billion stolen by him)

Are you usually this daft or is today just a bad day for your brains?

Never fear...when one day Nigerians rise in revolution, sycophants and bootlickers like yourself - who are willing to sell their children's birthright (a stable, flourishing Nigeria) for a bowl of porridge - will be hung from the same lampposts as the corrupt demons ruining this country.

See this thrice accursed m0r0n calling Chairman of NPA board a 'peripheral appointment'.

Politics › Re: Fashola Can Use Lagos Successes To Run For President- Bloomberg by texazzpete(m): 7:28pm On Dec 20, 2012
Nothing more hilarious than many Lagosians living in that giant slum, wasting their lives away in insane traffic jams (recently caused by Fashola's inane ban of motorcycles) and yet hailing their Governor.

Still haven't forgotten how Fashola's folly in handling the Lagos Doctors' strikes led to the deaths of tens of Lagosians that he swore to protect. All to massage his ego and that of his master, Tinubu.

He still remains better than the likes of GEJ...but my eyes are open, and I scorn the blind worship of this man as the 'messiah' for Nigeria.
