Mumu like you. Must you talk because you have a phone with megabyte in it huh Do you know who is Wale Babalakin huh Who handled the last job done on Murtala Mohammed Airport huh Wasn't it Bi-courtney. They over saddled this guy with so many contracts that he went ahead to accept the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in which the govt wont raise a dime to fix. Where in the world will Wale Babalakin raise something like $ 3-4 billion dollars from to fix the massive road for a govt that is busy stealing public funds and want to pass their responsibility to another. Which Nigerian bank can give 4billion dollars as loan to one company huh I doubt that even Dangote can fix such a road and then depend on toll gates for the next 25years to pay the banks and make his profit. What kind of wicked contract is that huh

Now that he has fallen out of their favour, they remember that there is a man called Ibori that he did business with in the 18thcentury. EFCC is just a witch-hunting dog.
So someone put a gun to his head and forced him to sign the contract?

Nigerians and sentiments.

No indication if the cars have passed rigorous crash safety tests, if the cars have all the safety features as seen in contemporary vehicles from Toyota et al. No word on reliability.

Yet you want the Government to commit taxpayers funds to buy these vehicles!

There have been posts on Innoson motors and his wonderful achievements since 2010, but NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON HERE HAS BOUGHT ONE WITH HIS OWN MONEY.

Anybody who says anything other than unabashed adoration for this man is labelled a 'hater'. Biko, where are the defenders here who have bought their vehicles from him?

Politics › Re: Soldier Filmed Colleagues Killing Captives In Maiduguri – Report by texazzpete(m): 10:04am On Nov 21, 2012
Foster cat: Reuters, the International News Agency has withdrawn a violence video purported to be taken in Maiduguri last week after discovering that the video was a fake video. Reuters had previously alleged that the video was sent to it by a soldier who witnessed the killings, but when contacted, the Nigerian Army spokesman, Colonel Mohammed Yerima, had denied the video claiming it was a set up by Boko Haram for propaganda purposes.

He had said when contacted about the video that "How can they do that? It is not possible. This is the Boko Haram tactics," he said. "They will do the killing, say it's the military and then Amnesty International and so on will blame us. It's not possible for Nigerian troops to act in this way."

But after investigating the story and finding it to be false, Reuters released the following statement below;

(Reuters) - Please be advised that the Nigeria story issued on November 18, 2012, reporting that a video showed Nigerian troops shooting unarmed captives, is withdrawn.

The story is withdrawn because questions have been raised about the date and location of the video.

The following story has been withdrawn:

Some persons mind have been programmed to find only faults in ALL that Mr president does. Such persons are irredeemble. The truth is that whether these persons like it or not, Jonathan is the president today and will remain so till 2015. If he decides to seek re-election, he'll win hands down. Irrespective of what HATERS think, irrespective of what FAULT-FINDERS think, Jonathan is performing and will continue to perform. ACN and CPC supporters can continue to HATE and CONVULSE online.

Politics › Re: Aviation Sector Weak, Stagnant — Report by texazzpete(m): 1:46pm On Nov 20, 2012
I'm not surprised.

Only in Nigeria will you see people STUPID enough to believe the spin about 'massive renovation in our airports' while the sector largely stagnates, security breaches multiply (madmen on the runway, stowaways in undercarriages), poor customer service abounds, shoddy treatment of passengers (often broken down ACs, escalators, lifts, fans etc). Airline carriers now delay flights for up to 4 hours with impunity...no punishment from above.

Go and look at the new terminal built at the Local airport in Lagos. See how TERRIBLE the finishing is...very unsightly. See how shameful it is for porters to be hand-carrying bags to passengers since there's no working conveyor belt. Despite this, we're paying the FAAN charge of N1000 which has ZERO visible effect on level of comfort for passengers. Still the ACs don't work in many airports in Nigeria.

On top of all this tomfoolery, we're nickel-and-dimed by the FAAN. Just to drive into the Airport, you fork over N200 for a sedan. To park your car overnight, it's jumped up from N1000 per night to N2000.

The fact that people hold up the state of our Airports as an achievement of GEJ is an incredibly damning indictment on the man's Presidency and the general sheepishness of our people.

Christianity Etc › Re: Private Jets: CAN Slams Kukah, Bakare by texazzpete(m): 8:04am On Nov 20, 2012
kachy: Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has condemned comments credited to the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah and Pastor Tunde Bakare, who claimed that acquisition of private jets by religious leaders diminishes moral voices of the church in the war against corruption and are therefore calling for a revolution in the Church of God.

Speaking in a telephone interview, National Director of Research, Planning and Strategy, Elder Sunday Oibe, urged the Catholic bishop and the former vice presidential candidate of CPC, that if they have anything against the person of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, they should come out and say so, and not hide under the cloak of the gift of a jet to attack the CAN president.

Oibe, who doubles as the Public Relations Officer of Northern CAN, said he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.

He said: “If there is any clergyman in the country whose constituency is government, it is Bishop Kukah, who served every government in power in the last decade.

“He thinks people have forgotten in a hurry how he served in Obasanjo’s government and turned round to attack the former president, or his fraternity with the former Governor James Ibori and his Rivers State counterpart, Peter Odili.”

Christianity Etc › Re: Cartoons Lead Children To Hell ( Avoid It) by texazzpete(m): 7:22am On Nov 20, 2012
highyo: As we left that part of hell Jesus told me, "I want to show you something else...There are also children in this place." And I replied, “Children in this place, Lord? Why are there children here? Your Word says, 'let the children to come unto Me, and do not stop them: for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14) Jesus replied, "Daughter, it's true, of such is the kingdom of Heaven, but that child must come to Me, for he who comes to Me I will not throw out."(John 6:37) Instantly, the Lord showed me an eight year old boy being tormented in fire. The boy cried, "Lord have mercy of me, take me out of this place, I don't want to be here!" He kept crying and screaming. I saw demons around this boy that resembled cartoon figures. There was Dragon Balls Z, Ben 10, Pokémon, Doral, etc. "Lord, why is this boy here?" Jesus showed me a large screen of this boy's life. I saw how he would spend all of his time in front of the TV, watching these cartoons.

Jesus said, "Daughter, these animated cartoons, those movies, those soap operas that are seen daily on TV are satan's instruments to destroy humanity...Look, Daughter how this came to be." I saw how the boy was rebellious and disobedient toward his parents. When his parents talked to him, he would run away, throwing things and disobeying them. After this happened, a car ran over him and ended his life. Jesus told me, "Ever since then, he has been in this place."

I looked at the boy as he was being tormented. Jesus said, "Daughter, go and tell parents to instruct their child as is written in My Word. (Proverbs 22:6)" The Word of God is real, it tells us to correct a child with the rod, but not every moment, only when the child has been disobedient to his parents. (Proverbs 22:15)

The Lord told me something that is very sad and very painful. He said, "Daughter, there are many children in this place because of animated cartoons, because of rebellion."

I asked Him, "Lord, why are animated cartoons to blame for this?" And He explained, "Because they are demons that carry rebellion, disobedience, bitterness and hatred to children; and other demons enter these children, so that they do not do good things, but do that which is bad: whatever children see on TV, they want to do in reality."

Hell exists, hell is real, and even children must decide with whom they will go. I said, “Lord, tell me, why are there children in this place?" And Jesus answered,

"Once children have knowledge that there is a heaven and a hell, then they have a place to choose."

Who was the source of the claim? The Guardian (UK) does not state. For all we know it was the Guardian reporter himself inventing the claim using his 'unnamed source' as buffer. Don't trust these UK reporters past where you can see them.

It really would help if Nigerians start to read these dodgy foreign reports with their brains, and discard them accordingly. Was it not this same British media that gave all the credit for ECOMOG ie Nigeria's removal of the rebels in Sierra Leone to Tony Blair? If you were in the UK at the time like I was, you would think it was the UK military that brought the conflict to an end, such was the completely biased and false reporting of the conflict! Not a whiff about Nigeria and the huge, pivotal role she played in the conflict.

Now today they issue this wild and baseless report about Nigerian troops and some of you just gobble it up without thinking? Pathetic.
Your imbecility grows daily.
