No. I am contributing here because I DESPISE bullies. You joyless folks ARE bullies, ganging up on her for an innocuous statement. Anyone with half a brain knows exactly what she meant to say. I suspect you know it.

You gravely disappoint me, though. We've had several run-ins on Nairaland in the past, but I swear I thought you were made of nobler stuff than this.

Dede1: I suggest you shut up your putrid traps for once, olodo. The so-called medical mission is a calculated fraud. People involved with that practical joke will not tell you the hidden agenda behind such endeavor. I have personally challenged few of them to embark on the so-called medical mission through the sweat of their labor not collection of alms or donation of unwanted drugs and apparatus. If they were really patriotic and have no eyes on the political and social patronages in Nigeria, the doctors\nurses\etc from Anambra State should make the medical pilgrimage to Oyo State and those from Oyo State should journey to Kaduna State. Or they should endeavor to perform the so-called medical mission solely on the expenses out of their pockets.

If Anambra State is waiting for a person such as Ogugua88, who is struggling mightily with public health program because of time she spends on “Romance Section” of this forum to bring medical manna to the state, I guess Anambra State will wait for a very long time. I shall not entrust the wellbeing of my house pet in the care of a person who bears illogical opinions detrimental to oneself such as Ogugua88. After all, it takes a criminal to catch another. Since Ogugua88 knew that all the kidnappings in Nigeria are sourced by Ndigbo, it safe to say that Ogugua88 and her relatives are behind the nuisance generated by acts of kidnappings in Nigeria. Only m0r0ns such as you will utter opinions that suggest you are a moronic dingbat.
So this bitter old f00l is still alive?
YOU are a disgrace to your tribe. Bitter, crusty old m0r0ns like you are only a millstone around the neck of Ndigbo. All you thrive on is spreading your m0r0nic gospel of hatred and despair.

If you do not know anyone who has followed through with a project as noble as what Ogugua is planning to do, does that mean she MUST be a sham too? Tell me again who is working to bring down Igbo people.

Better she spends time on the Romance section with lighthearted banter than to be like you...a sad, mean little man who will not rest until his fellow Igbos are funneled through his vision of hatred and despair.

The world has turned and left you behind, old f00l.

This 'bunker mentality' will not serve anyone. Biafra is a dead dream, Nigeria is all you have FOR NOW.

Such petty, childish sniveling! Leave the lady alone.

This is the same lady that plans to come to Anambra state next year for a free medical expedition. This is the same lady that wants to improve her medical skills to great levels then come back and open a clinic in Anambra and Delta to provide free or low cost medical care. She will impact a lot of Igbos by her actions...Aside from your e-warfare and shouting matches on Nairaland, what have most of you lazy lot done for your tribe? What are your plans?

Such a noble spirit in one so young...and you demonize her because she fails to toe the ultra-hardline path you set for yourself. M0r0ns.

Commendable move my butt. You people give GEJ the credit for EVERY SINGLE good thing that happens in Nigeria, no matter the size or triviality. When something bad happens, you rush to find avenues to extricate the man from any blame.

Sadly, Okonjo Iweala herself is a known liar and a poor Minister of Finance. Her poor showing during the subsidy hearings confirmed that.
She came on National TV and presented a bloated figure as subsidy payments for 2011 as a reason for removal of subsidy, only for her to admit under questioning that that sum also included Kerosene and some payment of subsidy arrears dating back to 2008.

Melaye, Iweala...scum, all of them.

gramci: But a trader on Vono Street, where the incident took place, told our correspondent that some armed robbers had been terrorising residents of the area in recent time.
The trader, who pleaded anonymity, said, “The people of this area just took their anger on the (suspected) robbers. I don’t really know how they were caught. I think they were said to have broken into a shop.
“I heard somebody raised the alarm and residents quickly reinforced and rounded up the suspects. Nobody really knows the true story because people are afraid of talking about the incident.”
It was learnt that while the suspects were being beaten, residents cheered and took photographs while policemen were not in sight to stop the lynching even though there were some police stations in thearea.
Police were said to have arrivedthe scene after the suspects had been burnt and the crowd had dispersed.

So basically, most of the people doing the beating and burning did not know what the guys stole, did not see the guys stealing and had no idea if the guys who they were burning were even innocent or guilty.

packman: This are five funny event that occur in a bank premises/hall

1. when coming into a bank the security door assessment.. the security door always cause Lots of Embarrassment even to the extent that some time you are forced to drop your accessories outside the bank and yet the security door would still refuse to let you into the bank premises this situation is very embarrassing and some time very funny to watch the persons frustration

2. if you are coming to use the ATM machine in the bank... when the machine continually rejects your card, and then later seize the card.... this situation is also a very embarrassing situation especially when you are in need of the money urgently.

3.Not dropping the pink slip of your deposit slip this could really be embarrassing...especially when you are being reminded by the security guard....

4. disapproval of signature or passport during withdrawal process or account verification. to me this is one the most embarrassing the situation you can ever experience in a bank... its not only embarrassing but frustrating as well.

5. one of the worst is the borrowing of a pen(biro) in a bank hall... to be serious i personally suffered this last week when i went to the to make some deposit i was so embarrassed when i had to ask people around lend me their pen/biro... this was really embarrassing i was so ashamed....
Does everything in life 'embarrass' you?!

How can asking folks around you politely for a pen become a thing of shame?

Inferiority complex dey worry you, it seems. I demand absolute mutual respect and politeness from folks at the banks...If someone speaks to me rudely, I don't get embarrassed...I hit back.

Even when you look at the navigation map, you can count hundreds of roads on a wide screen of an LGA. If Lagos tells you it's got a million roads you can't doubt it because they have it all mapped. My navigation map even seems to show that there are over 9,000 roads in Lagos.
There are GPS navigation maps of Lagos, Abuja, port Harcourt and many others states. don't let your ignorance come out in the open.

Boko haram is a bloodthirsty, evil terrorist group annd amnesty interntional have rightly condemned that movement. However, it does not take anything away from the VERY DISTURBING fact that the people paid to protect you and i are indiscriminately killing and torturing people, many of them innocent.

i know this is Nigeria and you cowardly scumbags have long since learnt to accept your fate in bovine docility...but many of us still remain outraged that it is very likely that an illiterate Policeman will gun you down - you with all your fancy degrees - and nothing will happen.

You thrice accursed m0r0ns don't realize how big this issue is. Politics › Re: MASSOB Abducts BZM Group Leaders by texazzpete(m): 9:22am On Nov 02, 2012
aishatua1: MASSOB abducts splinter group leaders.

By Tony Edike
ENUGU—Barrister Benjamin Onwuka, leader of Biafra Zionist Movement, , whose group had announced its plan to re-declare the Republic of Biafra in Enugu on Monday, November 5, 2012, was, yesterday, allegedly abducted by members of the Ralph Uwazulike-led Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB.

Also whisked away from their residences to an unknown destination were the BZM National Chairman, Samuel Edeson, Nweke Nweke, National Secretary and Chukwuma Orienta, a member of the group from Onitsha.

However, MASSOB has said the BZM leaders where not abducted, but invited for questioning over their November 5 plans.

Meanwhile, BZM’s Director of Mobilisation, Cornelius Anyanwu, who disclosed this in a chat with newsmen, yesterday, said the fierce-looking men believed to have been sent by Chief Uwazulike, stormed the residences of the four BZM leaders yesterday morning, forced them into their cars and drove them to an unknown place.

He said one of the BZM leaders called on phone to alert them that they were being driven to Uwazulike’s Okwe home in Imo State, explaining that the abduction of the group’s leaders was part of Uwazulike and his MASSOB’s plot to abort the planned re-declaration of Biafra on Monday, which, he said, had generated a lot of interest among Ndigbo, both in Nigeria and in Diaspora.

He said: “We have concluded all necessary arrangements for successful inauguration of Biafra Republic on November 5.

“The mobilisation of our supporters, including all Igbos had been intensified before this sabotage by the MASSOB leader, who has since abandoned the Biafran agitation and resorted to working with the Nigerian government to subdue Biafra.”

According to him, the BZM had scheduled a meeting in Enugu, yesterday morning ahead of Monday’s event, before the abduction.

MASSOB’s spokesman, Mr. Uchenna Madu, confirmed that the BZM leaders were under their custody but explained that members of the Uwazulike-led MASSOB in Enugu State only “summoned” them for questioning regarding their plan for November 5.

He said: “Our men did not abduct the BZM leaders. Rather, we invited them to a meeting to find out why they want to re-declare Biafra after it had been declared many years ago.

“We want to reason with them about what they planned for Monday. We are in support of Biafra but what they (BZM) are doing amounts to making caricature of the Biafran struggle.

“It must stop because the security operatives are disturbing our members thinking that MASSOB is behind the move.”

Madu denied allegations by BZM members that the Federal Government was using Uwazulike against their campaign for the actualisation of Biafra, saying there was no pact between the government and the MASSOB leader.

Simple solution. Arrest Uwazuruike for kidnapping.

'fierce looking men forcing others into a vehicle and driving them away' is not an 'invitation', it's KIDNAPPING, pure and simple.

im tired of people who take my phone and 2 minutes later PES 2012 or temple run is ongoing grin grin grin grin even worse, some refuse to give it back, esp girls wink wink

its also neater than having to lock your messages/email/im apps etc.

but truly its not that much of a big deal for phones sha
Actually, it is. Multiple profiles is a very highly requested feature.

Microsoft's implementation will probably see them selling a tidy amount of Wp8 devices on the strength of their 'kids Corner'.
If you have kids, you'll soon realize how convenient it is to give your kid your phone to play Angry Birds or 'Where's my Water' to keep them quiet.

My baby is 23 months old and EXTREMELY hyperactive. Giving her my ipad to use photobooth and to swipe at Fruit Ninja guarantees me at least 30 minutes of peace with my laptop without having to ward against her stealthily creeping towards my laptop metal Gear style to hammer at the keyboard grin

Lower pixel density on the note II doesn't mean it has a poorer screen. In fact, it has a visibly better screen since it does away with the controversial Pentile matrix issue that people complained about with the Galaxy nexus and the S3.

anyway I'm glad 4.2 is not with frame work or radical kernel changes. expect these features in AOSP within a month.

stay there with 2010 phone dey wait for Samsung and HTC to update u. na there u go old
How will you understand when you're a muppet? grin

Apps are becoming way bigger in size.
Imagine if you have the following games installed on your phone

1. Modern Combat 3 - 1.3 Gb
2. Fifa 13 - 1.2 Gb
3. Modern Combat 4 - 1.3 Gb
4. Nova 3 - 1.2 GB
5. Grand Theft Auto: vice City - 1 Gb
6. max Payne - 1Gb

That's already more than 7GB. Then throw in your music library of 3GB. That moves it to 10Gb, already above the 8GB storage limit of the $299 version.

Then throw in your movies. On a 720p HD screen, do you really want to run 320x 480 crappy .3Gp files? no! People will load a few TV series and several favorite movies...and lots of music videos. One 720p episode of Game of Thrones can ring in at 500MB.

The we now need to talk about apps...and the space the OS will take. You will run out of space fairly quickly!
Phones are media consumption devices, not just to make calls these days. Did you miss that memo?
